"My Favorite Restaurant" by Pinky (mind control) 9, 9, 9
"My Favorite Restaurant" by Pinky (goldcort@ix.netcom.com). This restaurant - called Tooties - sounds a lot like Hooters, although I have never been to that establishment, of course. One day the author is walking past the establishment, assiduously avoiding the place but casually glancing inside, when an innocent yet provocative waitress invites him to enter. Before we know it, the waitresses are conspiring to put on a show for him. He doesn't really eat much - just observes and makes mental notes about waitresses with names like Candy and Desiree. Eventually they invite him to a special table in the kitchen area, where he is subjected to a form of subliminal advertising: "You like what you see. You like how you feel. You like to feel good at Tooties." He eventually leaves with a smile on his face, holding a bag labeled "Good Doggie." I think this sort of thing is illegal - the subliminal advertising, that is. However, this is a very cute little story. Ratings for "My Favorite Restaurant" Athena (technical quality): 9 Venus (plot & character): 9 Celeste (appeal to reviewer): 9 |
