"Temporarily" by Adrian Hunter (begonespam@aol.com). Guest review by Nick. This is coded as a bdsm story, but probably ought to include the fact that its nc too. In fact not only does the "sub" not enjoy what's happening, but there is no evidence that the "dom" gets much sexual pleasure from it either. Rather than fear and apprehension the feelings of the sub run more along the lines of "Oh no, not again!" Also, unlike many bdsm stories, she has no warm feelings for her tormentor, and the plot indicates that none are likely to develop. The story, refreshingly, has a credible plot! It is set in the New York Office of an international company and the victim is a high-flying female executive. The description of a high-powered teleconference which she holds while being humiliated is a very nice touch, but to say more is to undermine the impact of the story. However, it is more of a "scene setter" than anything else. Nothing, rather disappointingly for me, is resolved in the end. Well enough written, but I found myself reading several sentences twice to work out what was happening. The plot was good and the characters believable. I enjoyed the unfolding of the story, but for me it was never a "trouser ripper"!
