"Ladies Room" by Bluelady (poetic quickie) 10, 10, 10
"Ladies Room" by Bluelady (Bluelady16@aol.com). My interest piqued by the previous poem, I decided to see what else this author has written. I hereby proclaim Bluelady to be poet laureate of a.s.s. Again, I decline to get into the task of analyzing poetry in detail in these reviews; but the main task of a poet is to convey images and emotions in a way that would normally be impossible in prose. This poem wonderfully conveys emotion and intensity as two people come together for a quickie in a ladies' room. This is the sort of poem I'd like to be able to make available to my dumb jocks who insist that poetry is a waste of time. "Here!" I'd like to say, "Read this without displaying any phallic disturbance, and I'll give you an A on the poetry test."
