"Blow Job" by Bluelady (Bluelady16@aol.com). Every year I give my students an assignment to write a poem that they will read aloud to the class. My greatest fear is that someday one of my students will write a poem like this one. I'll have to give it an A; but then I'll have to deal with the school board. Evaluating poetry in detail would take me beyond the scope of these reviews. I'll just say that one of the purposes of poetry is to convey emotion, and this poem certainly does that! Come to think of it, I'm safe in my English class. My students are big on limericks; and I tell them to sit down as soon as I hear the word "Nantucket."
