"Heads or Tails" by Delta (bar pick-up) 10, 10, 10
"Heads or Tails" by Delta (delta@nym.alias.net). "Welcome back." The phrase occurs four times in this story. I'll say it one more time, "Welcome back, Delta." Several people on a.s.s.d. have already noted Delta's return from obscure retirement. These other people assume that Delta is a man. I assume she is a woman. Because men don't understand women as well as this this author does. Except for M1ke Hunt and a few others maybe. This is not Delta's best story - that would be "Strip Chess." It's not even her second- or third-best story - those would be "The Good Neighbor" and "Hotsprings"; but it's still a good one. It's about a man picking up a woman in a bar. My favorite pick-up line is.... "That top is very becoming on you. Of course if I were on you I'd be cumming too." The narrator in this story uses a simpler but more devious strategy, based on mathematical probability, as indicated in the story's title. I don't know whether this technique would work in practice. Since I started writing these reviews, I don't have time to go to bars anymore. I just download story after story, reserve all the good ones for myself, and send the rejects out to guest reviewers. If I can't decide, I just flip a coin. "Welcome back, Delta." Oh! I just remembered another good pick-up line: " Do you have a mirror in your pocket?
