99 Erotic Notions: Expanded Legal Notice

Except when noted, I am the author and the copyright holder of all the text content on the 99 Erotic Notions website. Hapax Legomenon is a pseudonym.

All stories on this project are available (and will always be available) free for download. The only way I profit from this project is if someone gives a tip through my tipjar or links to me on their own website. I appreciate any kind of support – even if it merely linking to it on your own website.

If you are reposting the story elsewhere, here's one thing to remember. Sometimes after posting a story, I will make minor revisions to the wording and grammar. Usually if the story has been posted on this site for 6 months or more, it will be in its final version. But if the story has been public for less than six months, you might want to check with me first to see if a newer version will be available later on. You're not required to do this, but it prevents several versions of the same story from floating around the Internet.

Two licenses are being used for this project.

1. Creative Commons Attribution Noncommercial No Derivative Works license

   This applies to:

   • binary ebook files consisting of the whole project (.lrf, .prc, .doc, pdf).
   • individual stories on the Unbuttoned Tales section.
   • certain photographs and graphics on the website which are not in the public domain. (Basically photographs of paintings here are always in the public domain if the painter died more than 70 years ago).

   Examples of allowed use: You can copy, share and distribute this content on a noncommercial website.

   Examples of uses which are not allowed: Translations, Re-edits, distribution on websites that have a commercial purpose or have advertising on the same page.

   But you must: Give attribution in the method specified below (See the section How to Give Attribution if you are copying/distribing this work).

2. Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike License. Text by Hapax Legomenon has a more liberal and flexible license.

   This applies to all text content that is written by Hapax Legomenon.

   Examples of allowed use: You can copy, share and distribute this content on a noncommercial website. Translations, remixes, re-edits, distribution or republication on commercial websites, commercial sale of derivative work using this text.

   Examples of uses which are not allowed: See the requirements below.
