My little world's getting a little more elaborate a little more
quickly than I'd expected, so here's a little something to
hopefully make keeping it all straight a little easier. More will
be added as new chapters go up.

Main Cast-

Jein Devyre
Concept: The ultimate lipstick lesbian, saving the universe one
gratuitous sex scene at a time
Intended Traits: Horny, sexual preferences polluted by male
upbringing, supportive big sister, trying her best to be a hero
but enjoying the rewards, excited and confused at the same time,
still tends to think like a gamer
Occupation: Adventurer
Race: Human (partial divine heritage)
Known Relatives: Lamal Devyre (grandfather, deceased), Milika
Devyre (grandmother, deceased), Amoril (as Parso Devyre, father),
Angele Devyre (mother, deceased), Milir Devyre (uncle, deceased),
Namiel Devyre (aunt), Cathallis Devyre (twin sister), Jasami
Devyre (younger sister), Adren Devyre (cousin)
Build: Athletic, busty
Eyes: Yellow
Hair: White, straight, shoulder-length.
Background: Jein is the oldest child of Angele Devyre, late queen
of the constantly embattled Free Territories on the planet Akton,
and a warrior of unknown origin named Parso. Hoping to produce an
heir that would be capable of guiding their people through a
period of upheaval that they soon predicted, they performed a
ritual pleading the heavens to grant their unborn child a gift
for battle. It worked, but that period of upheaval arrived sooner
than they'd expected. Jein and her sisters were sent to other
dimensions to keep them safe until they matured, and as the most
tempting target because of being the one to share her mother's
status as a Sword Daughter, Jein's memories were erased, she was
given a male body, and sent to the most boring world they could
find. Her friend Shana was sent along to keep an eye on her.
After Jein had reached a suitable age, a cross-dimensional plot
was put into action where a videogame multipack based on the
various worlds and dangers of Akton, called the Action Pack, was
released. After Jein played and mastered most of its various
games, giving her foreknowledge of what she'd be dealing with
back home, she and Shana were returned to Akton and Jein's female
body was restored. However, her mind was the same as it had
always been since being wiped clean, and her years spent thinking
of herself as male had led to her developing an interest in what
turned out to be her own gender.
Years of influencing from movies and videogames took over and
Jein found herself trying to help out whoever she could who
needed it, especially when a lot of those people happened to be
beautiful women extremely willing to show their gratitude.
She's still not convinced this is real, but a part of her (a big
part) hopes it is.
Special Abilities/Possessions: As a Sword Daughter, Jein has a
knack for spotting openings in combat and the ability to pick up
what she doesn't already know somewhat faster than other students
(this doesn't mean she'll be a black belt within a month or
anything. Mastery still requires devotion). Jein's greatest
ability as a Sword Daughter is to amplify the feelings of loyalty
others have toward her, based on her own loyalty to them.
Having preemptively quested across most of Akton and the
surrounding worlds via the Action Pack game collection she had to
master to return home, Jein already has knowledge of many of her
opponents and the tricks to staying alive.
Jein's status as a child of Amoril seems to give her an inherent
knack for things like giving the perfect kiss, flirting without
trying, and games like strip poker and beach volleyball (but no
other variations). Jein also has the unusual gift of looking and
smelling more somewhat presentable than a woman who's been
through the same exertions and gone without grooming for the same
length of time.

Cathallis "Cath" Devyre
Concept: The prim and proper, secretly lecherous twin
Traits: Quiet, easily flustered, raised to be the knowledgeable
one, jealous of little sister's confidence
Occupation: Scholar
Race: Human
Known Relatives: Lamal Devyre (grandfather, deceased), Milika
Devyre (grandmother, deceased), Amoril (as Parso Devyre, father),
Angele Devyre (mother, deceased), Milir Devyre (uncle, deceased),
Namiel Devyre (aunt), Jein Devyre (twin sister), Jasami Devyre
(younger sister), Adren Devyre (cousin)
Build: Slim, busty
Eyes: Yellow
Hair: Black, straight, waist-length
Background: Cathallis is the younger twin sister of Jein. While
Jein was always more active, seeking challenges as a child,
Cathallis was more of a scholar and, though she was ashamed to
admit it even to herself, quite a bit infatuated with her more
outgoing sister after Jein saved her from trouble a few times.
When the sisters were split up for safety, Cathallis was sent to
a world within Akton's universe inhabited by botanical beings
where she was attuned to a mystical tree that imparted knowledge
that flowed into it from the various worlds by magical leylines.
The hope was that possessing a far-reaching range of knowledge
would enable her to make wise and informed decisions as a joint
queen with her twin. After passing a variety of fast-paced tests
she was allowed to return home, where she ran into her twin
sister naked on a beach not long after returning.
If anything, Cathallis has become even more attracted to her twin
after meeting her again as a shapely young woman. Although
reserved, Cathallis is hoping to make her parents proud by
leading the Free Territories wisely and fairly. With Jein at her
side.
Special Abilities/Possessions: Cathallis has become a repository
of knowledge on the history and different cultures of Akton.
Weaknesses: Having knowledge poured into her head without
acquiring any of it through experience on top of her natural
introversion has made Cathallis afraid of opening her mouth, in
case she might say something out of place and soil her family's
good name. Even to Jein, for fear of giving her beloved twin some
misconstrued advice that ends up getting her killed. Her
knowledge is also broad but longstanding, with little in the way
of specifics to people currently living or fairly recent events.

Jasami Devyre
Concept: Way too young to know so much about this
Intended Traits: Outgoing, playful, impatient, shameless,
extensive carnal knowledge but a kid at heart, serious Oedipus
complex
Occupation: Erotic adviser
Race: Human
Known Relatives: Lamal Devyre (grandfather, deceased), Milika
Devyre (grandmother, deceased), Amoril (as Parso Devyre, father),
Angele Devyre (mother, deceased), Milir Devyre (uncle, deceased),
Namiel Devyre (aunt), Jein and Cathallis Devyre (older sisters),
Adren Devyre (cousin)
Build: Slim, short
Eyes: Yellow
Hair: Silver, straight, waist-length in pigtails
Background: Jasami is the younger sister of Jein and Cathallis by
about five years. She was only a babe in arms when the attack
came that forced their parents to send them to other worlds for
safety.
Jasami was entrusted to a noblewoman on a medieval world in
another dimension. There Jasami was meant to learn the tasks of
running a royal household so her older sisters could devote
themselves to running their kingdom. The noblewoman trained
Jasami exactly as she trained her other serving-girls, and had
Jasami in her bedroom at night learning the erotic arts as soon
as Jasami was old enough to be learning anything. This ended up
giving Jasami a serious "mother" fixation.
After performing a seemingly impossible domestic task--rendering
the noblewoman's entire estate dust-free for a grand social
function that night--Jasami was returned home. Not to her
benefactor's liking, who'd hoped to keep her.
Jasami's "mother" fixation kicked into high gear when she met
Jein, who not only took on a protective role toward her but was
actually related by blood. Being open to sex with own immediate
relations sealed it. Since being reunited Jasami's been trying
her best to please her oldest sibling, while exasperating
Cathallis with her shameless forward behavior regardless of her
age.

Angele Devyre (Deceased)
Concept: Big boots to fill
Intended Traits: A ruler of the people, hopes Jein can be the
mother she couldn't, her daughter's mother
Occupation: Former Warrior Queen of the Free Territories
Race: Human (ghost)
Known Relatives: Lamal Devyre (father, deceased), Milika Devyre
(mother, deceased), Amoril (as Parso Devyre, husband), Milir
Devyre (older brother, deceased), Jein, Cathallis and Jasami
Devyre (daughters)
Build: Athletic, busty
Eyes: Yellow
Hair: White, straight
Background: She was the daughter of a king who hoped she'd never
have to inherit his role.
She was born the heir of a small kingdom in the middle of a score
of neighbors of uncertain friendliness. Her father spent nearly
all of his time and energy trying to break down old hostilities
and unite the various kingdom into a supportive miniature nation.
It was a slow process, but he was determined to create a safer
land for Angele to grow up and inherit. Nonetheless he knew his
enemies were numerous, and agreed to his wife's suggestion that
they ask the gods to bless Angele as a Sword Daughter in case she
needed to grow up to lead armies, and this blessing was
conferred.
Angele grew up learning the ways of both peace and war, to
attempt the first but use the second if necessary. Shortly after
Angele turned eighteen, her parents suddenly disappeared. She
continued her father's work for years and managed to forge
alliances with many neighboring kingdoms. Yet she also knew there
were some problems that could only be solved through force and
fought back against aggressive rulers trying to absorb territory
that was part of her "milksop alliance." On one such campaign she
met and was charmed by a warrior named Parso, who in reality was
the goddess Amoril in a mortal avatar.
Angele's relationship with Parso (and eventually the birth of
their children) drove her to work even harder, and she began a
fierce campaign of modernization among the kingdoms that were
increasingly turning control of their affairs to her
administration. At the same time she began to take a more active
stance in fighting powermongers at her borders eager to expand
their own influence. There were enemies even she wasn't prepared
to handle, however.
One of them was the Dragonlord Jadis, who saw the growing
confluence of kingdoms joining Angele's "Free Territories," and
saw a threat to his kind. He massed his kin and launched an
all-out attack on Angele's capital city of Zenith. The attack was
repelled, barely, but at the cost of Angele and Parso's lives.
Their children were sent to other worlds, in order to keep them
safe until they came of age to return and reclaim their throne.
Special Abilities/Possessions: As a Sword Daughter, Angele
possessed the same enhanced reflexes, above-average ability to
spot openings, loyalty-amplifying power and knack for quickly
picking up new combat knowledge as Jein. She had become a
fearsome warrior by the time of her death, but even she wasn't
invincible.
Angele acquired a magical two-handed sword on one of her quests
called Drakekiller. While more potent than any normal sword and
almost unbreakable, it was especially effective when used against
dragons, and its enchantments more than anything else are why
Angele was able to maim Jadis the dragon so severely. Drakekiller
was (after much trying) destroyed by the furious dragonlord.

Queen Paetra Laqure
Concept: Tough (but hot) older woman
Intended Traits: Commanding, a queen must be strong for her
people, this kingdom would be nowhere without me, always on the
lookout for threats, champions of the people have needs too
Occupation: Warrior Queen of the Free Territories
Race: Human
Known Relatives: None
Build: Muscular, busty
Eyes: Hazel
Hair: Auburn, curly
Background: Paetra was the daughter of a mid-ranking military
officer from one of the central countries comprising the Free
Territories. She adored her father and followed in his footsteps,
eventually meeting and earning the trust of Queen Angele Devyre
herself during a particularly brutal campaign. Paetra admired the
queen's skills as a warrior, and harbored a strong attraction to
the queen which she hoped she could coax the monarch into
returning. She was understandably upset when Angele met and began
seeing the mysterious warrior Parso, who eventually fathered
Jein, Cathallis and Jasami.
Paetra dedicated herself to her career and worked her way up to
one of the Free Territories' generals. When Zenith was attacked
and Queen Angele killed, Paetra marshaled the cities' defenders
and drove off their enemies after several days of fighting. The
death of the royal couple and their decision to send their
children to other worlds left a vacuum of power which Paetra
quickly seized. She proved her worth quickly by maintaining the
Free Territories' borders against opportunistic incursions from
its various enemies and instituting measures to strengthen and
unify her own forces.
While the populace was uncertain at first, Paetra has managed to
keep the peace and slowly expand the area covered by the Free
Territories. Paetra has become extremely protective of what she's
made the Free Territories into, however, and isn't about to trust
anyone else's ideas of what's best for it without heavy input
from her.
For all the hardness she projects, that throne room's starting to
seem pretty empty with just her sitting in it...
Special Abilities/Possessions: Paetra Laqure is a practiced
strategist, and expert with nearly every personal weapon used by
the Free Territories' military, from rifles to sabers. She also
possesses formidable skill in numerous disciplines of unarmed
combat.
Weaknesses: Paetra is wary of anyone she suspects on having
designs of her power, as she's unwilling to let all the progress
she's made fighting back against numerous conquerors be wiped
out. Although well-intentioned, this slight paranoia has earned
her a reputation as being somewhat short-tempered and
closedminded. All the good she's done her people has been enough
to outweigh this so far.

Namiel Devyre
Concept: Loving surrogate parent
Intended Characteristics: Happy to have a bigger family,
reluctant supporter of saviors
Occupation: Noblewoman
Race: Human
Known Relatives: Milir Devyre (husband, deceased), Adren Devyre
(son), Jein, Cathallis, Jasami Devyre (nieces)
Build: Soft
Eyes: Pink
Hair: Black
Background: Namiel was the only daughter of a house of minor
nobles in Zenith who was courted by Angele Devyre's brother
Milir. She and their son were sent into hiding when the attack on
Zenith was made that killed Angele and Parso Devyre. Not long
after, Milir announced that he had to leave on a matter of grave
of importance that he wouldn't discuss with his family. It wasn't
until months later that his body was found in the middle of
nowhere, cause of death uncertain.
Namiel was allowed to keep her family estate after Paetra Laqure
assumed the throne of the Free Territories, but was barred from
the palace itself, reducing her to a minor noble. Namiel was fine
with this; she was in no mood to spend anymore time there and
tried to forget all the horrors of the attack and its aftermath
to raise her son.
When the Devyre sisters came home and were denied their throne by
the new queen, who was unwilling to turn it over to a group of
teenagers, they returned to the family estate and set out
preparing to do what good they could. Namiel lent them her
support, as nervous as it made her after losing so much of her
family to crusades against evil already.
Special Abilities/Possessions: Namiel has no powers or combat
proficiency of her own, but her ninja-like bodyguard, Takel
Nesmit, is never seen, but always close by.

Adren Devyre
Concept: The smart guy who's never gotten any
Intended Traits: Mechanical whiz, proper gentleman, floored by a
friendly smile
Occupation: Engineer
Race: Human
Known Relatives: Lamal Devyre (grandfather, deceased), Milika
Devyre (grandmother, deceased), Milir Devyre (father, deceased),
Namiel Devyre (mother), Amoril (as Parso Devyre, uncle), Angele
Devyre (aunt, deceased), Jein, Cathallis and Jasami Devyre
(cousins)
Build: Skinny
Eyes: Purple
Hair: Black
Background: Adren is the son of Angele Devyre's older brother,
Milir, and cousin to Jein, Cathallis and Jasami. He was born
around the same time as Jein and Cathallis, but a shy soul by
nature, his contact with them was minimal.
With copious free time thanks to his lack of social obligations,
Adren pursued his studies and discovered a fondness for the
mechanical. He recently completed an engineering degree thanks to
advanced placement and got a job helping to optimize existing
designs for the Free Territories' military vehicles. He was quite
surprised when he came home from work one day to find his cousins
moving in, and the kind of things they did for fun after years
away...
Special Abilities/Possessions: Adren is skilled at the refining
of existing mechanical designs. With some professional experience
under his belt, he's slowly started developing systems of his own
design.

The Lovely Ladies of Action Pack

Sereda of Clan Dakmoor
Concept: Passion comes in small packages
Intended Traits: Boisterous, speaks her mind, flirty, likes a
good fight and a good mug of ale
Occupation: Adventurer
Race: Dwarf
Known Relatives: None
Build: Stocky, slightly pudgy
Eyes: Gray
Hair: Brown, straight
Fetishes: Sex with taller people.
Appearances: 2-4
Background: Sereda was a dwarven adventurer who was running a
personal side quest when she ran into the Devyre sisters in a
network of caverns. When they were beset by orcs, she led them to
a secret dwarven refuge where she and Jein got very cozy for the
night. After the rest of Sereda's party came to let them out, she
helped Jein wash her back in the morning and then parted company
with the other adventurers, her fortune made by their previous
quest.

Ilindora
Concept: Member of an ancient and mysterious race
Intended Traits: Patriot, on a personal quest, has a shameful
secret
Occupation: Warrior
Race: Elf
Known Relatives: Mithil (sister)
Build: Tall, willowy
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Red-brown, curly
Appearances: 3-5
Background: Ilindora was a member of a remote elf community. As
she grew up she realized she was growing attracted to her younger
sister Mithil, who was engaged to a hunter named Eldarl.
Possessed of a fearsome temper, Eldarl beat Mithil when he
discovered them in bed together and had Ilindora abducted and
dropped of a cliff into a river to her supposed doom. Ilindora
managed to survive and return home, but found no trace of either
of them once she had.
Ilindora joined a party of adventurers traveling near her home,
hoping to use the riches she accrued as part of their quest to
finance a search for her sister. On the way home after completing
their quest, word reached her that her village that it was under
attack by vampires. Learning that Sereda had met the Devyre
sisters, whose family had a reputation as fine warriors, she
asked for their help in protecting the village with a promise to
get them safely to Zenith.
Jein and Ilindora joined an expedition to sneak into the
vampires' stronghold during the day when they would hopefully be
sleeping and helpless. Such was not the case, and Jein was
captured. Ilindora was later found herself, and was about to be
fed upon by the vampires' leader before Jein killed him thanks to
being armed by his wives. They managed to escape when the
vampires turned on one another.
While the elves threw a festival at being rid of the vampires,
Ilindora invited Jein to a private tent to be thanked, carnally,
as was part of a celebratory custom.
Ilindora's since gone off on her search for her sister.
Special Abilities/Possessions: Ilindora was an accomplished
fencer, archer and tracker.

Lucia, Carlotta, and Gabriela
Concept: Undead babes
Intended Traits: Commanding, manipulative, looking out for the
good of her kind (Lucia), motherly, calm (Carlotta), impatient,
minxy (Gabriela)
Occupation: Former sex slaves to Lucius Handred
Race: Vampire
Known Relatives: Lucius Handred (husband, deceased. Again)
Build: Medium (Lucia), zaftig (Carlotta), thin (Gabriela)
Eyes: Black
Hair: Honey blonde, wavy (Lucia), brown, slightly wavy
(Carlotta), platinum blonde (Gabriela)
Fetishes: Oral (Gabriela), maternal cuddling (Carlotta)
Appearances: 4-5
Background: Lucia, Carlotta and Gabriela were the undead brides
of Lucius Handred, a self-styled ruler of the night. Between the
vampires he'd created himself as well as the vampires they'd
created, he'd amassed a fairly sizable coven when he happened to
discover a mystical black gem that could project a dome of
darkness over a large area. Guided by (gravely mistaken)
superstitious beliefs he held, Lucius began sending his
subordinates to attack a village of elves as he believed that the
blood of a mystical species would make him more powerful. After
feeding off all the elves, he planned to have his followers
attack the city of Zenith.
Lucius's brides and some of his creations believed that he'd be
leading them to their doom by trying to attack the fortified
city. Unable to strike at him themselves, they tried to secretly
arm captured elves to kill Lucius when he came to feed on them,
but these attempts failed. When Jein was captured while trying to
infiltrate the vampires' lair in the hopes of slaying them while
they slept, however, Lucia saw a far more promising opportunity
when Lucius planned to turn her into another of his brides rather
than feed on her. After Lucia and her fellow brides finished
toying with the helpless Jein, they told her of their concerns
and armed her in the hopes she'd get the chance to kill Lucius.
After she did, Lucia and the other vampires who'd thought better
of his dreams of conquest turned on his more blinded followers
while Jein fled. Afterward Lucia came to the elf village to thank
Jein, and told her the vampires were leaving to lead a more
peaceful existence elsewhere.
Although very little of the undead brides' background is known
for the time being, the similarity between Lucia and her
husband's names perhaps suggests he may have one of Jein's sexual
proclivities in common.
Special Abilities/Possessions: They possessed the standard powers
of vampirism, such as heightened speed, strength, and near
invulnerability.
Weaknesses: They possessed the standard weakness of vampirism,
such as burning on contact with sunlight and vulnerability to
silver weapons. They were unable to perform any act to directly
harm their creator, which was why they sought to arm a warrior to
kill him by proxy.

Heidi
Concept: An exciting friend in a strange place
Intended Characteristics: Playful, adventurous
Occupation: Reveler at Amoril's palace
Race: Centaur
Known Relatives: None
Build: Slim, busty (human portion)
Eyes: Green
Hair: Black, straight, waist-length
Appearances: 6
Background: Heidi was a member of the religious order worshipping
the goddess Amoril, and because of her exemplary service she was
chosen to receive a place in Amoril's palace in the realm of the
gods upon her death.
Heidi met Jein at a strip poker game and afterward took her to an
overlook to see the territories of the other gods (hoping to
score some points with the boss's daughter). Because they were on
neutral territory, however, they were attacked and almost carried
off by bird-men who served the god of war, Shile. Enraged at
being called a slave, Heidi fought back and was able to escape
with Jein. Amoril informed Heidi that she'd be punished for
placing Jein in danger by taking her off the grounds, but it's
likely her reprimand was nothing more severe than a paddling.

Villains-

Lucius Handred (Deceased)
Concept: Not-too-challenging first boss
Intended Traits: Megalomaniac, overestimates himself in every
regard
Occupation: Small-time conqueror
Race: Vampire
Known Relatives: Lucia, Gabriela, Carlotta (wives)
Build: Moderate
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Fetishes: Breaking the will of beautiful women before drafting
them into his undead harem.
Appearances: 4-5
Background: Lucius Handred was a vampire of unknown origins who
vied for influence among the vampire population of Akton, and
believed that drinking elf blood made him more powerful because
of the inherent mystical power in their beings. For this reason
he was having his followers attack Ilindora's village. He'd also
discovered an artifact that could blot out the sun over a large
area, and though that between the power of elven blood and the
artifact he'd soon be able to march on the capital city of
Zenith. Fortunately Jein was led to his lair to help the elves
try to stamp out the vampires' attacks. While she was captured,
his undead brides, who weren't interested in his plans of
conquest, armed Jein and gave her the mission of assassinating
Lucius before his plans could proceed. As he was in a hurry to
move to the next phase of his plans, and was far too confident of
himself besides, Lucius didn't bother to convert Jein in a
vampire beholden to his will (which is why his brides couldn't
attack him themselves). She tricked him into making a reckless
attack on her to save the artifact, which ended with Lucius being
staked through the heart.
Special Abilities/Possessions: Lucius Handred had the standard
powers of vampirism, such as heightened speed, strength, and near
invulnerability. He also possessed absolute control over the
vampires he converted, and those converted by them. Contrary to
his beliefs, drinking elf blood did nothing to make him more
powerful.
Weaknesses: Lucius Handred possessed the standard weakness of
vampirism, such as burning on contact with sunlight and
vulnerability to silver weapons. As a vampire possessed of an
evil disposition, he was also vulnerable to artifacts and powers
derived from benevolent deities. Lucius was also too convinced of
his own greatness for his own good after one fairly significant
victory, and never suspected his wives could be plotting against
him.

Series Elements-

Gods
The gods are beings of inestimable power who created the universe
in which Akton resides by picking and choosing favored elements
from a number of other universes including Earth's. After
creating Akton's universe, however, a ban was placed on overt
intervention in mortal affairs to allow the mortal races to stay
in control of their own destinies. There is only one pantheon of
gods within Akton's universe, but certain members of the pantheon
and not others have seen fit to reveal themselves to different
cultures, thus the same gods are worshipped in numerous cultures
under different names and appearances. Known gods include:
Materyss: Mother of the divine race, and most powerful of the
gods. Although nominally their ruler, Materyss usually refuses to
involve herself in the squabbles between the rest of her kind.
Amoril: Goddess of love, father of the Devyre sisters.
Kimara: Goddess of nature and wilderness. Worshipped primarily by
elven civilizations.
Shile: God of war.
Stissia: Goddess of night. Known for introducing vampiric
species.
