Spartan Boys Story Festival Guidelines
Nialos Leaning Presents is pleased to announce the first
ever "Spartan Boys" Story Festival.
The Festival is inspired by the story "Pain Factor" by
Platypus available on the "Spartan Boys Story Festival" page

Premise of the Festival is that boys between the ages of 8
and 14 are made to engage in competitions, sports, or games
in which they must endure much extreme pain and suffering.
At least half the boys must be 10 or older, and at least
three boys must be 12 or older, with at least one teenager.
When competing, the boys must be naked the majority of time,
including being barefoot when feasible for a particular
activity. Authors may depict the boys competing either
individually or in teams, as appropriate for the story.
Authors may include sexual activity of any kind for any
reason, and are encouraged to do so.
The nature of these competitions is entirely up to the
author. It could be anything from a modified to cause pain
traditional sport to running a gamut of painful obstacles to
a knowledge test where wrong answers bring immediate painful
consequences. It might be a series of games that can only
be won by inflicting pain on opponents. Or perhaps a contest
purely to determine which boy or team can hold out the
longest despite acute pain. Or it can be anything else the
author devises and desires.
Why the boys are competing is also entirely at the author's
discretion. Perhaps it's a mandatory court sanction
(sentence) required for certain juvenile offenses. Maybe
it's a school disciplinary tool or the "ultimate" weapon for
parents. Or a town requires boys to periodically
participate as a means of building character and learning to
deal with extreme adversity. It could be part of the
program at a correctional school or juvenile prison where
parents or authorities send boys to be punished. Parental
greed at the promise of a large cash or other valuable prize
could be the reason. Or any other reason the author wants.
Pain may be inflicted anywhere but the head, by any means
the author wishes. Except as modified above, my usual story
guidelines apply, including the prohibitions on death and
