The car door opened and someone quickly jumped into the drivers seat. The two boys in the back screamed and I almost jumped through the roof. "Easy fellows." Danni said. "I got some bad news. They are closed." There was a collective "Awe" from the back seat of the car as Danni started it up and backed out of the spot. I really didn't care about the corndogs. I was more worried about being back out on the well lit streets. My two cousins in the back seat began carrying on like it was the end of the world. Their crying and whining got so loud that I could barely hear my self worry. Right before we pulled out of the parking lot onto the street Danni jerked the car back towards the restaurant. "This is our lucky day boys." She said with a smile as we all bounced around in the car. "The drive through is open 24 hours." The next set of events happened so quickly that I am not even sure Danni realized what was happening before it actually happened. In fact I took me just a few seconds less than Danni.
