Gail's lawyer husband Glenn has been virtually ignoring her for the past year. When he isn't ignoring her, most of his comments are highly critical of everything she does. Sex between them has degraded into 10-minute performances by Glenn once or twice a month, always in the dark. Gail is virtually certain that her young, ambitious husband is obtaining sex from his secretary, clients, and perhaps other women. She realizes that part of the problem is her appearance, which due to neglect and the demoralizing effect of Glenn's constant criticism, has degraded over the past year to the point that she is now 45 to 50 lbs overweight. She has also gotten into the habit of neglecting her clothing and general appearance. Determined to change things, she embarks on a two-phase program. The first phase is to execute a complete make over of her appearance. The second phase... well, let's just say, it's not something that will be pleasing to her lawyer husband. Apparently, Glenn's law studies did not include the classics, particularly William Congreve's "The Morning Bride" wherein is the now famous quote, "Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned / Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned." This is now shortened to "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" as Glenn is about to discover first hand.
