Here's a Snail story 11-May-98 19:42:02

When my girl and I moved into our first house we set about clearing the garden. When I lifted an old scaffolding plank I found dozens of Snails under it. I called to my girl to come look. As soon as she saw them she immediately knew what I wanted her to do so I picked them all off the plank and put them on the concrete floor. Then my girl started walking around them, over them and through them. I never knew if each step would cause a snail to burst. The anticipation was wild and sometimes, when she'd lower her foot real slow, my ears would be straining for that first CRACK and then the squirt as the poor snail would explode out from under her shoe. The last few I put on an old chair and got real close to watch her sit on them. That's my story and it's a true one. Anyone else got any good snail stories? Or any crush stories?
