Another car crush 17-Apr-98 17:46:38

Hi everyone ,glad too see we have gotten some good stories here now. In my job as a route driver I have seen some good crushes over the years . I remember on day when it was raining and really windy i had gotten to my first store just about morning rush hour and I was waiting for them to open up so I parked across the street and watched as traffic went by rather slowly.The wind was blowing pretty hard and it blew some childrens toys into the street ,one was a small fisher price bike for a toddler or something but it was really small.It pretty much stayed against the curbfor a while but eventually made its way intothe middle of the closest lane to me.I saw this woman dressed like she was heading to the office or something slow down a little.She was driving one of those big GMC Suburbans. When she slowed down some people behind her honked a few times so I guess she said the hell with it and ran right over the bike.At first it kind of stuck under her fender but almost a second later her wheel crushed it flat , I remember seeing pieces of it go flying all over the road but the main body of it was pretty flat. After she drove off there were a couple of more cars with women driving that just ran over the remaining pieces. That pretty much kept me going for the rest of the day.
