Hi all, Here is a real crush story that goes way back.

When I was 16 I spent a week on my aunt's farm in North florida. It wasn't a huge farm just a little place were my aunt and uncle planted roots after my uncle retired from the military. They raised a few chickens (they really they had a real big hen house if you asked me) and some hogs and moo,moo cows. There enough of the FFA report. Anyway my uncle had gone to a reunion for his unit in the service that, left me and my aunt. She is my Mother's sister and is fun to be with. ( we used to sit on her front porch and smoke cigarettes...giggles). I found my aunt in the barn one day. It's not what you'd think of as a barn really it was a aluminum building, a very large aluminum building, with a cement floor and a second story with an apartment and an office( my aunt called it my uncle's jerk off room). They kept chicken feed out there and a few other things. My aunt , she was 31 at the time, was in the barn looking around for something. I asked what she was looking for she told me that last year they had a rats nest in here and that yesterday she had seen a dead baby rat in the middle of the barn. They would eat the chicken feed and raid the hen house. she felt that maybe more had come back. within an hour she found a rat nest in the very back corner of the barn.

Well to make this short...my aunt got on a pair of gloves and reached into the nest and grabbed a bunch of rat pups and threw them out into the middle of the floor. I guess the parents were out. Then I whatched her with, out missing a trickshe crushed to death the first four she threw out on the floor. She had on these beat up, well worn, black flats. she wore these flats everywhere except into the hog pen or when they did heavy work. she'd just step on the rat pups and give her foot a twist. It's like she had done it a hundred times before. Well she asked me if I wanted to help. I said how? and she said I'll throw them out and you step on them...if you can. to this point in my short crushing history it's been bugs,a few lizards and a few small toads would this be any different? So I did it, I stepped on three of the rat pups. I remember wearing a pair of sandals with the toe loops. It was like nothing I'd had ever done before. I thought they would be hard to crush.... but their bodies were soft and easy to flatten. I even twisted my foot on one. My aunt was suprised she'd thought for sure I'd get grossed out by it. It was the first rodents I had ever crushed in my life....thinking back.....I kinda liked it..too weird huh? When I told my husband about this I don't think he took it seriously...until he met my aunt *S*
