A long time ago I worked at a place where there where ants that would commute back and forth in a line accross an elevated sidewalk about 4 feet high outside at a loading dock all day. I always wondered if ants could actually see. If they could I thought that could realize a Giantess fantasy of mine; I guess to some being Giantess could exist. There was a short hispanic (cut as a button) girl who always wore sandals to work. I used to draw her out to the loading dock in an attempt to get her to interact with the ants. At first she would just unknowingly step all over them when I would lead her to where they were to talk with her. I would imagine what those ants must be seeing! Then one day when she was just coming into work with some beatiful brown strappies I happened to be on the dock by those ants on a brake. Being good freinds she walked overto me nad stood right by that line of ants that was always there! What a sight they must have had! I could'nt resist pointing out the ants by her feet. She then looked down and balanced her foot on her heel rocking back and forth never touch the ground with the sole of her foot nearest the line of ants. It was as if she was teasing them. I quickly said "I wonder if they can see you." She said "I don't know." and proceeded to lower her sandaled sole about an inch above the ground over the top of them; holding it there. There seemed to be be no reaction so she lowered her sole and stepped on what must have been ten of those in the line. The ants began to scramble around when they came in contact with the smooshed ants. It got worse; I then said " maybe they will react to the scent of your foot". She then kicked one sandal off(her right foot) And lowered it 1 inch over the ground. The ants again did'nt react. To make a long story shot, This relationship went on for almost a year where she would come out and we would hang out by the ants. She would stand over them again and again; stepping on them, knowingly and unknowingly.
