I read a posting here about a month ago about a lady who ran over bikes with her truck. After reading it I thought that was neat and I would try and set something like that with my 21 year old girlfriend and her 1994 jeep yj. I rent a basement suit and park in the back that is lane access only. My girlfriend works at a pub and she often comes over to spend the night afterwork and she also parks in the lane. I went and bought an old 10 speed bike at a garage sale and an old toy plastic. The first night I knew that she was coming over, I put the toy in the middle of the lane to see if she would stop and move it. I waited outside to see if she would run over it, as her headlights approached the toy, I just heard this loud crunch then I had to run inside as she was getting close to the house. When she walked inside my heart was pounding but she didn't say anything about running over the toy. That morning after she left, I walked up the lane to see if the toy was still there but somebody had cleaned it up and there was just plastic fragments left. After the toy I figured it was alright to try putting the bike out in the lane.
