Subject: She Didn't Tell ALL that happened! Date: Sat Jan 17 12:55:07 1998

Hello, All,

Yes, BZ has found the Rug's board, but I've been busy and unable to post any messages lately!

I recognized the message as being from a friend of mine and gave her a quick ring to confirm that she indeed had written the first message!

There was a second foot crush that night, but she was apprehensive about posting it because of the extensive damage she had done to another dancer's foot with her BZHeels! But, she told me to go ahead and relate the story (after a litte coaxing from me!)

Anyway, the first foot crush was in the earlier part of the evening at bar number 1! As the evening cranked up they moved to another club that picks up after midnight! The dancing continued and the intensity increased as the liqour flowed! A little after 1:00 am the BZGirl was dancing furiously when her friend facing her slowed her dancing and grabbed her face as to say "oh, my god!" My friend slowed and yelled "what's wrong?" The second girl pointed behind my friend, she turned and there was another girl standing perfectly motionless... the color was completely drained from her face, a whiter shade of pale so to speak, and her jaw was dropped wide open, she made no sound at all!

The BZDancer looked down to the floor and she knew what had happened! The other girl was completely barefoot dancing, and the BZGirl had backpedaled onto her foot just above her toes and stomped/pivoted on her foot in the course of dancing! The heel has slid a bit, so a patch of skin had been peeled back that was 1/4" wide by 3/4" long (approx). There was a trickle of blood running down her foot that could be likened to a good shaving cut!

Although amazed at the damage she had caused, my friend immediately apologized and helped the girl limp form the floor, and got her a bag of ice! After 10 minutes the stepped-on girl left to have her foot x-rayed! Sorry, we never heard what happened!

A third girl in the original party was at the bar and saw the whole thing and later related it at Denny's! The BZHeel had sunk so far in that the BZFoot appeared normal to the casual observer, flat on the ground... as opposed to the incident with the man where her heel was obviously up in the air!

The BZGirl had never even known that she had probably broken bones while dancing, and would never of had her friend not told her! However, since then she smiles wildly when her girlfriends tell the story of those "killer heels"!

Sometimes you never know when a good BZStory or BZIncident will pop up!

PS - in case you're wondering, this happened in warm weather and I've been trying to get "permission" to tell this story since then!! I think we'll hear more from this girl... she's tasted the Power, and it tastes GOOD! This person is not my friend I call "Patti Pivot" who has over 600 confirmed foot crushes in everything from spikes to flats to boots to tennis shoes to golf shoes and football cleats! She's a book, not a message!
