Two cricket crushings recently:)

Sorry its been a bit Moh my friend, but I have been busy. I have been working pretty
steady and the crickets are still a pain at the Kroger where I work. The other night I was
shopping at about one in the morning with my wife and I excused myself to go to the
bathroom. When I got in there there were two large crickets in there with me! Well, I let
them out of the bathroom and one stayed there, between the doors for the men and for the
women's.
I waited patiently and, sure enough a young lady probably about twenty, long reddish brown
hair and wearing light blue shirt, blue jeans and the black leather ankle boots with about
two and a half inch heels saw the cricket on the floor and, lifting her boot she stamped
on it like an unwanted cigarette! This was better than I had hoped believe you me:) The
unfortunate insect rewarded her with a soft crunch, the least it could give in tribute to
the Goddess above it. She lifted her heel slightly and ground the cricket into a smear on
the tile and then I swear she had such a look of satisfaction. She had crushed the
insignificant bug with such ease. Then, proud of her pitiless murder she walked casually
into the ladies room and I am sure gave it no more thought. I on the other hand, had to go
back to the men's room for a bit. I knelt and looked at the wet stain wear the cricket had
been. Nothing but a black mush. It was a good night:)
The second one came last night when I found another cricket near my freezer in the back
room. I kicked it outside and into the aisle and found some work to do nearby.
So many people barely missed this little cricket that I wondered at its luck. I waited
half and hour before a young, pretty oriental lady with thick soled navy sandals walked up
to it and....missed it by an inch!!!! I silently cursed, certain the little bug was the
luckiest one on earth, but she turned around to come back for something she had forgotten
and stepped right down on the cricket...CRUNCH:) Pretty loud sound too. She hadn't even
noticed the thing and now, she looked down at her sandal, noticed what it was and scraped
it off on the floor, leaving an ugly black smear of bug guts and she walked away. It was
amazing she didn't care at all that she had killed the tiny creature, just that it was
messing up her sandals. I love Texas:) Talk to you again soon.
Look down, lilbug:)
