Working in a Video story with bugs and popcorn

I know that whole routine. I work at a video store where all you get is literally tonnes of popcorn on the floor. Of course where there is popcorn like that we get ant and other in the place. We hide it petty well I think.
It was funny. I was helping one couple, maybe late twenties and suddenly We heard a crack. The girl looked down and blushed when she realized that she was standing in a pile of popcorn (she had flat sandals on, but not thong). She was embarrassed. OK, now the thing that gets to me is that I have seen countless people aware or unawarely walk and stand on a pile of ants. Honestly, people don't want to stand on popcorn but they have no problem walking on ants.
Just a little side thought. I remember standing in line at the zoo and seeing a teenaged girl (she had some type of sandal on but I can't quite remember) look down and nudge a half dead catipillar with her foot. She just stood there, continued too talk to her friends and forget about the bug. Seconds later, she turned around and stepped (accidently ???) on the bug.

Well...I'm not complainig about anything of course
