What's with this shit?
A reasonable question if there ever was one. This shit is some of the
erotica that I wrote between the ages of 13 and 18. All of it (in this
section) was written on a rather nice word processor that my parents bought
for me before I went to high school. The extremely nice thing about the
word processor was that for storage it used 3.5" diskettes that are still
used in computers today. Not too long ago I attempted to transfer all of
my files from word processor to computer and found that the text was there
but the formatting was slightly screwed up. I've been attempting to
reformat the documents and make them as readable as possible. About that
time I came upon this wonderful database.
As I was reformatting my documents I was also re-reading them. Though
some of the syntactical errors and the general low quality of the writing
dreadfully embarrassed me, I saw a certain charm that they still held for
me. They were some of my oldest fantasies and, while they no longer gave a
fair representation of my tastes and views of love and sexuality, they were
definite road marks as to my developments in those areas. I could plot
through the stories where I had viewed certain things in certain ways and
when those views had changed. Anyone who's been writing, in any genre, for
a while can do the same by looking at past work. Because I was surprised
the stories weren't completely horrible I suppose I took a certain pity on
them and decided to add them to the stories that I intended to show to
strangers.
There is one glaring (and millions of minor) problems with these
stories. The major problem is that they're all unfinished. When I was
writing these I would always view them as extremely long works-in-progress.
Some of them I never fully intended to finish, they would be continued to
be written forever. Others I either got bored with or, after an extended
absence, I felt like starting a new story. As such, every story in this
old collection is unfinished to the extent that there is no resolution.
None of them end in mid-sentence or even mid-thought, but there is a
certain incompleteness about them all. For that I am sorry.
Though I have no intentions of completing any of the stories that are in
this section, at least two of them have enough material in them or implied
to mount an expedition to write completely new stories. Perhaps some of
these characters, situations, and themes will end up in my future works. I
hope so, they're certainly still important to me.
That said, I hope that you enjoy these minor stories, whoever you are,
and decide to come back often and read what I've put up. Any suggestions,
words of praise or admonishment, and death threats will be taken seriously
and a response is guaranteed.
