He smiles a bit, and takes my note. I cringe slightly as I watch the crisp, white paper unfold. His eyes scan the note, never looking up. We stand in the middle of the classroom for a good five minutes, it seems, as he decides how to react. Finally, he looks up at me, and says just one thing: "Yes." I look at the clock, almost in disbelief that it was exactly two minutes, for it seemed much longer. He folds my note back up, and shoves it into his back pocket, with the keys to the classroom. I go back to my seat, still astonished at what had just occurred. The clock just would not go any faster, and I sit there chewing on my pen cap. As soon as the bell rings signaling the end of class, I jump up, almost too eagerly. I look at him, and he looks at me. Everyone has left by now, and still we are standing there staring at each other. We have ten minutes, and if we can get this done, neither of us would regret it. He walks up to me, and grabs my hand. He holds the door to the back room open for me, and I walk in. I'm feeling kind of claustrophobic, this room has no windows and only one door. It's also quite small. I start to feel nervous, but I soon forget all of that. A kiss, no matter how trivial, is still a kiss, and means a lot. Hands go places they shouldn't, as age becomes non-existent. Eight more minutes, there's still lots to do. We press up against the wall, and knock boxes of computer parts off a shelf. Neither of us care, and we keep going. The big moment. Where it all happens. The moment happened too late, and ended too soon. Only two minutes left, we have to get it done fast. In, out, bam, boom. One minute left, fix ourselves up. Do we look okay? Are we presentable? We decide we are, and it is over. We go our separate ways, and I already miss his touch. This will do for now, but I know I'll need more. Too bad about that age thing, it's really just a number.Time
