The Cruelest Cut Unfortunately, the censors have been at work again and they have killed deecopperfeel's blog of lovely photos and suspended my email....they still can't kill the spirit...what they call pedophilia was actually very normal behavior only 100 years ago (and is still practiced widely throughout the world). Before the Victorian era, especially, only "high born" girls of the nobility were saved for political marriages. For all other girls, their parents were glad to see them married off as soon as they could breed. That sounds callous but it was just the way life was at the time. I know the story of Louis XIV who at age 14 was wed to a thirteen year old noblewoman. They liked each other immediately and proceeded to have about 15 children before they were 40. Back in those days, it was wise to marry early because your life expectancy wasn't much more than 40 years. Some people lived to be very old must most were killed off by wars and diseases. What about the old TV show called "The Beverly Hillbillies"? Remember how Granny used to rag Ellie Mae because she was already past 14 years old and still wasn't married? Granny thought she was a freak. In those days, the girls got married and went to work on the husband's farm or whatever business, just to be able to put food on the table. Life was tough back then, they didn't have the luxuries of television to feed their unrealistic fantasies. They didn't have rock concerts and designer drugs. They didn't get welfare checks from the government to support their illegitimate children. They stayed home and raised their children and most, in the end, were happy that their children flouished. I suppose the Industrial Age and more prosperity has changed peoples' expectations aspirations for their children but you can't just wipe away aeons worth of geneticly regulated instincts regarding sexuality just by writing down a law. Lust is inborn in all of us and will seek it's own fulfillment. I don't want to sound like I am advocating child molestation. The stories I write are about a gamut of psyches and situations that could and actually do happen with some frequency. Unfortunately, every day young children are abducted and abused or even killed. I don't want to take that sort of behavior frivolously; it is a terrible thing to abuse a child. What I do advocate is freedom to love whomever you do love and the ability to express that love in ways that are mutually acceptable between the two parties involved. Love and lust are ever present within me. My afternoon trip to WalMart produced at least three episodes of lust. One for a grown black woman with a magnificent figure and two more for preteen Mexican princesses who were shopping with there mamas. As I was leaving, I noticed two teenage white girl lesbians holding hands as they walked to the car. They were obviously under 18 (closer to 14) but I bet that they have molested each other and will again tonight, if possible. Lust is all around and people must learn to accept it. When I was a preteen, the little girls knew about sex before the boys did and by the sixth grade everyone was either pairing up or having a love crush on someone else, sometimes,secretly,even someone of the same sex. Very few of those puppy love affairs lead to real sexual behavior beyond a kiss that progresses to more french kisses, but the point is that these "children" are more than ready and, in some cases, willing to experiment with physical love. So far as the photos that I published on my blog, I thoroughly believe that they all adhere to law of the USA. The applicable code is USC 2256, which defines child pornography. In short, it prohibits the lewd and lascivious display of the genitals of a minor. That is open to interpretation but essentially it means that a child can be nude but not with their genitals dominating the photo. The difference between Playboy photos and Hustler's "pink" shots. It is not illegal for a parent or the designee of a parent to photograph their child in the nude. There are nudist colonies all around the world that allow people to social in complete nakedness, people of all ages. There are a couple of towns on the French Riviera where the entire town is open to nudity. So it all boils down to local mores.
