The surprise present is the lovely and vivacious Jo, whose full name is too long to print here and whose husband is away while his wife must play. This is a delightful little story that will take your mind off the burdens of last-minute Christmas shopping.

Rarely do Americans find a woman who hunkers down and lets a man find her centre. Apparently that sort of thing is fairly common on the Island. It sounds like a custom worth exporting.
