HOW TO DRAW EROTICA
Here is my throughts about erotic art. Some may find it interesting.
To draw good erotic art, you need to be good at drawing in general.
This text won't teach you that. There are a lot of great books which
will teach you anatomy, composion, perspective, colors etc. This text
explain how you can create good erotica.
Your drawing should have a basic idea. Something more than just
"people making out". Create a list of ideas, which you can use when
you get the urge to draw. There is nothing wrong with drawing some
people making out, you should just have something more, like "punk
boy and his upperclass girlfriend are making out against a tree.
Bench and a garbage can to tell we are in a park. It is night, the
scene is illuminated by street lights". A good drawing will look like
it is just a snapshot from a longer story. Try to make the viewer
able to see what the participiants relationship are, what time at the
day it is, where we are, and what had happened earlier, and so on. As
much information as possible.
If you are enjoying sadism and dominance, the key word in your
drawings should be contrast. Let there be some clear differences
between the domminant person and the victim. Young versus old. Rich
versus poor. Clothed versus naked. A crowd versus a single person.
In a drawing, you will be able to dive into any fantasy. There are no
limits. But if you are into the sadistic and wierd, keep in mind that
some of your fantasies might be "too much", even for yourself.
Porn sucks. It is a cruel, commercial industry which only ambition is
to produce a meat flick at the shortest amount of time. As a result,
porn is instantly arousing, but also very boring and depressing.
Nobody wants to watch porn when they are not horny, since it is
stripped for any "artistic" value. If you want to get some good
comments from your audience, don't be afraid to stear away from the
standards of the porn industry: Use creative lightning. Paint clothed
people. Paint people with natural, not-altogether-perfect bodies.
Paint non-erected penises, or small ones. Paint nuns who don't wear
stockings and without make-up. Remember, less is more.
Don't be afraid to experient with different drawing medias, methods
and styles.
