Aunt Susan's Bed (Fm) by Osric134 1 I went to live my aunt Susan when I was sixteen years old after both my parents had to go to Saudi Arabia for their new, very well-paying jobs. I couldn't go because I was so close to finishing college and my aunt said she would take me in. She had been alone for two years after my uncle Frank had left her for a young bit of fluff, as my Mother put it, from his workplace. Since then, she stayed away from men and kept very much to herself. Occasionally attending family gatherings as she was still married to my uncle. Her sudden decision to take me in was a bit of a surprise to us all, since she never said much to us at all. Her husband was after all my father's older brother. I was scared of her to be honest. She always had a severe look on her face and wore very conservative looking clothes when out on the street. She was a white woman of thirty years of age, she was tall as well, taller than me by at least six inches. I understood that she was a really nice person before my uncle left her. I had begged my parents not to send me to her, but they would not look a gift like that up. Especially since she insisted that she would provide everything I would need and my parents didn't have to worry about money. Her house was nice and well furnished, each room was light and airy and had everything in it's place. "I expect my house to remain tidy at all times, is that clear boy?" were her sharp instructions. I nodded to her, but her staring grey eyes said she wanted more than just a head shake. "Yes auntie Susan," I said with my head low. I didn't want to get on her wrong side. She was a martial arts expert and had beaten up several men in a bar once. Maybe that was why uncle Frank had left, he was scared of her I supposed. "I don't want any noise either, if you are listening to music use headphones." She waited. "Yes auntie Susan," I said when I realised what she was waiting for. She actually smiled and pulled me to her, hugging me warmly and kissing my forehead. "It's good to have you here Boy. I do get lonely in here all by myself and it will be nice to see someone else in the house." She let me loose and showed me up to my new room. It was a large back bedroom with a double bed and a computer on a desk in the corner. She showed me where everything was and left me alone to unpack. I had always been a timid boy having been bullied in school from a very early age. I was tormented by the girls as well as the boys. I was the only black boy in my class, even though there were other black children in the school. I had no friends as I was so shy and had previously been beaten up by one of the girls when I refused to do her homework for her. I learned my lesson and did whatever she said after that. I had my first kiss from the redhead too. She had beaten me up several times, dragging me into the girls lavatory and flushing my head in the toilet until one day she decided that I was cute and started dragging me behind the school to kiss me instead. At least once a day she would have me behind the school building with my back to the wall and her tongue down my throat as I clung to her. Eventually she changed schools and I didn't see her again. That had been two years ago. I had been left alone pretty much since then and managed to get into college easily with my good grades. My parents were proud of me, I was given a larger allowance as a result. Now I sat alone in my new bedroom in my new home. My eyes teared up and I kept wiping them as I put my things away. It was a very scary time. We sat quietly in the living room watching CSI on the TV. We had eaten a very nice dinner which she had cooked and she had even given me a half glass of wine to drink afterwards. "It's a very good thing to do after an evening meal," she said as she sipped her wine. I made a face, it was sour. I did finish it though. We sat now watching Grissom and his team putting the finishing touches to their case and then my aunt switched of the set. "Bed time young man," she said, "You have school tomorrow and I promised your parents I would keep to their timetable with you. Off you go." I shrugged and went up to do my homework and get ready for bed. I lay in my new bed looking at the patterns of light made by the street lights through the tree on the ceiling. I felt so lost, so alone. I was in a house with a woman who was not really a blood relative and who scared me shit-less. I would be here with her for a long, long time.
