Liana giggled as she made her way out the back door and through the yard to the side of the house. She really should have passed on the last round of shots. She checked the time on her cellphone. Angela had left the party an hour ago and her 'boys' wouldn't be available for another hour. She could hang on till then. She braced herself on the fence and stared up at the stars. The clouds in the sky were high and wispy, the stars bright due to the lack of a moon. Deep breaths, damn that was some good tequila. The sound of footsteps pulled her gaze down from the celestial to the man rounding the corner, once a friend, sort of her boyfriend before she understood the concept, and now a stalker, Eric. The backyard lights cast him into a dark profile, but she knew it was him - from this far away, in the dark, drunk. No doubt. She pulled out her cellphone and sent both Trevor and Blake a text. "Too much to drink and about to be cornered by my stalker. Sending up a flair." She added her current address and hit send. Eric stood behind her, put his hands on the fence on either side of hers, but stopped short of pressing against her. "You look lovely tonight, Liana." "Thank you." "Have I done something to upset you?" "No." "Then why the sudden cold shoulder? We don't hang out anymore. You won't take my calls." "How many times do I have to answer this question?" "Only once if you tell me the truth." She nodded. "Truth is, I've been busy doing other stuff." Doing two other men, one at a time, both, repeatedly. She giggled. "Like going to these parties and drinking too much, spending nights in strange places. Why the sudden self-destructive behavior?" "Strange?" She laughed. "Your father taught you better than this. Respect his memory." "He was not my father." "This is what I mean. Doesn't that sound cruel to you?" She dropped her head and sighed. "I can't live my life to please him anymore. I figure my father must have knighted you to look after me, but I'm not living like that. I'm not going to hide anymore." "Let me take you home." She chuckled. "I bet you would love that." "Oh? Would you rather come back to my house?" Liana shook her head. "No." "As you said, Liana, you're an adult. A woman like you..." He fell silent. "If that's what you need, I'd help you." She snorted. "No." "Are you seeing someone else?" "I'm not seeing you." "Since when?" "Since never. We just did stuff together. We weren't a couple or anything." "If you wanted more, all you had to do was ask. I can give you whatever you need." He eased closer and she pushed back and stopped against the solid muscle of his body. Where the hell did she think she was going to push him? "You might be interested to know what you father told me." Could Eric have known? Was that why he was so adamant about being around her? Trevor said her strength was not in her muscle, but in her spirit, always there when she needed it. That time was now. Using the fence for leverage, she pushed again. Eric hit the ground with a grunt. She turned around and tried not to giggle at his look of shock, but her triumph faded when he looked hurt. This would be so much easier of Eric were a jerk. He'd been a truly good friend to her, but now that she was trying to pull away, he just wouldn't take the hint. He got to his feet, but didn't walk back over to her. He brushed his clothes off with a slight grin. This man had become stupidly obsessed with her. "I'll take you anywhere you want. We can do anything you want, or don't want." He took a step closer. "You're going to need me." Gross. Worse. That meant he did know. Was he going to keep it a secret over her forever? Did he plan to use her? "No thanks. I have a ride." "Angela left and a taxi is going to cost you." "I have other people in my life." "You say that, but I find it hard to believe." "I don't care what you believe. You're really starting to get on my nerves." Her phone buzzed and she pulled it out. "Hi," she answered, feeling decidedly sober and cooler with Eric staring at her. Something changed about him after she pushed him. "Yes. Please." She cleared her throat as she stared at Eric. "Thank you." His eyes narrowed. "Are you having sex, Liana?" "What I do on my own time is none of your business. What do you even want?" "I want to keep you safe." "Not your job." "You want that to be my job." Liana laughed. This problem would probably be far worse if she'd been silly enough to sleep with him. "Want to share the joke?" He turned to lean against the fence with her, put his arm around her waist. "I'm glad we were only friends. I imagine you'd do far worse than hound me all the time." His laugh was deep, slightly acerbic. "You think that's what this is about? I'm concerned about you." "You've inherited my father's insanity." "So who called you? Should I leave you alone now?" Liana heard the car pulling into the driveway, Blake's truck. She left through the gate and went to the front yard, Eric followed close on her heels. "I have a ride home," she said. Unfortunately, Eric wasn't taking the hint. He was about to learn who she'd been around, and if he knew half as much as Karen did. It wasn't Blake driving, but Trevor. He opened his arms and she happily walked into them, leaned her head on his shoulder. Trevor kissed her on the head. "Is he bothering you?" Her stomach fluttered as his chest hummed with the words. If he was, what would he do? "Answer me, Liana." "No. I just need a ride home." She pushed herself upright, steadied herself. "My ride left." "Hi," Eric waved. "I'm her boyfriend. I can take her home." Liana rolled her eyes and groaned. Trevor laughed. "You must be Eric." "Yes. Sorry, I haven't heard Liana mention you before." Eric extended his hand. Trevor just stared at his hand until he took it back. "Take care." Trevor pulled out the parking lot. "Where to?" "Home, I guess." "This is going to sound odd coming from me, but you need to stay away from him, especially now." "Because he won't take the hint that I only like him as a friend? Or because I tend to get so horny that I might end up fucking him?" "Even that is more dangerous than you realize. You haven't told him you're different, have you?" "No. I'm still trying to pretend I'm not." Except for that moment when she pushed him away from her. Except that her father may have told him. "Come back home with me. I want to slide my tongue between your lips. I know you need it." She knew by the way he spoke, knew exactly which lips he wanted to slid his tongue between. Yes, that would be a great reason to go back to his house. But no, she needed to get a hold of herself, her hormones. She couldn't go a full day without thinking about sex, about them. It had only been a few days since she last spent hours fucking the both of them, breaking only for food, water, and energy. The sound of a phone ringing sounded over the truck's speakers. Trevor put a finger to his lips moments before Blake answered his call. "Did you get her?" "She's fine. She wanted me to take her home though." "Her home? Why? What happened? What did she say?" "I can't force her to spend all her time with us. We can be overwhelming. You know that. We're lucky she's put up with us this long." "No, damn it. I don't know that. Did she say something?" Blake growled over the phone. "I miss her. I was hoping you'd bring her back here. I won't bother her. I bought that ice cream she likes. Fuck, I sound like a baby. Sorry, man. I don't want to lose her." "I miss her too, Blake, but she has to make up her own mind." "Pick up some dinner, kay? I'll be in my room." "All right." Trevor ended the call. Liana's eyes stung with fresh tears of part embarrassment and sympathy. "What did you do that for? Miss me? It's only been a few days." "I want you to understand that this isn't just about me or just about him. That we're not using you, playing with you, or taking advantage of you. We, both Blake and I, love you to pieces. And when we say we want you to stay, we mean it." "I have a job, responsibilities." "So it's about the commute?" "Well, no, but..." She looked out the window. "This isn't the way to my house." "I was hoping you'd change your mind." "I did." She mumbled. With a huff she grabbed his hand and shoved it between her legs. "If the two of us are too much for you, then spend the evening with Blake." Just like with everything else he said, she could hear how he truly felt about that. She heard how clearly it pained him to sacrifice his time with her. "I don't want that." She moaned as his fingers slipped along her pussy. "I'm addicted to the opposite of that. I'm afraid of what does that make me?" "A perfect, sexy, growing wraith." Trevor answered. "Relax. Stop fighting your natural instinct. How does that feel?" "Good," she sighed. "I'm glad to hear it, but Blake wasn't playing about the dinner. Small detour." *** Blake didn't come out of the room when they arrived. Trevor sent her in with a plate of food, but Blake didn't look at the food. He beamed when he saw her. "I brought you something home," Trevor called out from down the hallway. "Where's yours?" Blake said as he took the plate. "I ate in the car." She put her arm around him and smiled bashfully. "I got really drunk, but I don't even feel it now." "Drunk? Did you kiss the whole room?" "No," she sang with a blush. "I just wanted to stop all the nagging worries and questions in my head." "Do we make you feel uncomfortable?" "It's the opposite actually." She stretched out over his bed while he sat to his desk and ate. "I start to feel uncomfortable when I'm not around you, and that makes me feel even worse. Uncomfortable, no, that's not right. I feel like I'm going insane. I can't stop thinking about sex, like I need it, and that's never happened to me before." "Liana. We need you here, and not because your a sexy firecracker between the sheets either." She giggled and curled around his pillow. She took a deep breath and smiled. Goodness she had missed his scent. "What do I say? That both of you are my boyfriends?" "That's very high school. You're in a relationship with us. At least, I hope you think you are." "Yes, I want to be with both of you." "Then you are." "Finished eating yet?" Blake grinned and set his fork down. She crawled over to him and pulled down his sweat pants. She caressed his dick, felt him stiffen under her touch. She worked her tongue and lips along his shaft, took her time. "Are you staying the night?" He whispered. "Mmm hmm," she hummed. "Good because this isn't going to take long." With a few sporadic twitches of his hips, he came in her mouth. She couldn't have worked on him for longer than a minute before he exploded. She was happy to have him in her mouth until he was ready for more, but Blake pulled her up into his lap with a heavy sigh. "I dream about those lips of yours." He handed her his water to drink. They sat there in silence. He returned to eating, she rested in his lap. "I want you all the time, like a drug, not just sex - but that's a big part of it. I like seeing you, being near you. So, if you're going to be insane, do it here with us. Please, Liana. I'll beg you if it helps." Trevor walked into the room. His hair was a much darker brown, as if he'd been in the shower, but his face looked serious, like rolling thunderclouds. She'd seen this look of his many times before but it never failed to fill her with anxious dread. He may have been like her, a so-called, 'wraith-born,' but other than that he was an unknown quality. He look like a volcano, hard and full of fire. "Over here." He pointed to Blake's bed and she knew he was speaking to her. Blake helped her to her feet but otherwise continued to pick at the food left on his plate. Trevor undressed her, left her lying naked on the bed under both their gazes. He moved to different parts of the bed and looked at her, kissed the tip of her nose, cheeks, her lips. "Open your legs." He groaned low is his throat as her thighs parted. He stood between her spread thighs and looking at her glistening slit. "You're going to be a good girl for me?" "Yes, Trevor." "I know. I just like to hear you say it." He kissed his way down her body, lingering on each nipple, tickling her as he licked around her belly button. He pinned her down as she wiggled under his feather light teasing. He kissed each of her thighs in his hands and put her legs over his shoulders. He kissed higher along her thighs until he was tickling her again and she couldn't help but laugh. Liana tossed her head back and forth, giggling and pleading for mercy. She calmed when she caught sight of Blake staring at them. He'd put his food aside and was leaning on his palm, watching her with the dopiest smile on his face she'd ever seen. She moaned and her eyes closed as Trevor's tongue slide between her lips. Her whole body went slack and rolled as he lapped at her. His touch was perfection. She keened as he licked and kissed and worshipped her whole pussy. The way he held her ass, caressed her thighs, the feel of his fingers working inside her. None of it was quite enough to take her over the edge, and it was quite clear he had no intention of taking her there. This was her punishment for teasing them, Liana thought as she bit down on her lip. This was what it felt like to want and be denied. "Please forgive me. I'm sorry." He lifted his eyes to look at her. "For what?" He kissed her mound. "Please. I won't run away from you anymore, either of you. I want both of you and I don't care how weird that makes me." "Did you hear that, Blake?" "I did." "Wonder why she would bring that up at a time like this?" Liana groaned. "Please, Trevor, I'm so close." "Oh," he turned and kissed her thigh, rubbed his wet cheek on it. "I want to keep you on the edge a while longer." "Please, Trevor, please make me come. Please, I'll be good. I won't deny myself." He grinned, a warm, delightful grin. "What do you think?" He looked to Blake. "She told me she was going to be here all night. No need to rush." "Agreed." She wanted to scream as Trevor went back to his unhurried stimulation. Damn him. Damn their patience and control, and damn her for giving in. She was never going to be able to come back from this. She finally did scream, screamed and arched her back while Trevor held onto her bucking hips with an iron grip. She blinked to clear her vision, but she barely had time to come down before Blake rolled onto her naked body and entered her. The orgasm never truly stopped, just lulled. She squealed as Trevor entered her from behind. Blake and Trevor took turns thrusting inside her. Trevor from the back, hard, pounding, thick. Blake from the front, passionate, intense, longing. "Take her over," Trevor said as he pulled out. Blake had her screaming again in a few thrusts. Her whole body shuddered as she came. Blake pulled out and Trevor replaced him, held her tight to his body. "You belong to us, with us," he swore as his orgasm approached. "No matter what, Liana." He drove into her without an ounce of mercy. She knew what was about to happen, could feel the pressure building. She closed her eyes and let herself drift on the wave. She could just barely hear Blake groan a euphoric curse as she came on him. They lay there on Blake's bed with Liana in the middle. They were panting, covering in sweat and each's other's bodily fluids, but no one was in a hurry to move. When their respiration slowed and the air turned cool, Trevor helped Liana to her feet and into the shower. Blake joined her in his shower, then Trevor hopped in to rinse off. "How are you feeling?" "Fine. Sober. Really sober, actually." He nodded and pulled her into his arms. His lips met hers with a tender seductiveness she did not expect from him. She kissed him back, matched his romantic embrace. She pressed herself to him, lifted her leg. "Fuck me," she whispered. Trevor lifted her and in one fluid move he was seated inside her. "That what you want?" He whispered. "Yes." She whispered with an impish smile and clenched her vaginal walls around him. "Keep doing that," he whispered as he nibbled on her neck. She did, but he didn't move inside her, which made her actions even more maddening. She needed to feel him thrust inside her. "Trevor, please." "You're so easy to tease," he chuckled and set her back on her feet. "Go on, dry off. I'll be out in a second." *** When she walked out both men were waiting for her. She crawled between them and lay down on the bed. Both of them filled with passion born of tenderness and love. Blake looked at her as if he wanted to consume her. Their intensity unnerved her, but Liana let that attitude fall to the way side. They had not hurt her. They had helped her. All those worries were unfounded. Blake rolled on top of her and entered her. "Trevor said he worked you up in the shower." "A little." "Feels like a lot." She giggled and turned to look at Trevor. He had a pillow tucked under his head and was watching her with Blake the same way Blake had watched them earlier. She stifled the first urge to scream, but the second time her orgasm took her, she let it rip, and Blake purred his encouragement. she was sure she'd break something, pull a muscle, pinch a nerve. Each next orgasm felt impossible to reach, and when she got there, impossible to come down from. Sweat dripped from Blake's body onto hers. Trevor left the room and returned with two bottles of water. "Stay in here with Blake. I have work in the morning and I'm not going to get much sleep beside you." She had work in the morning too. "I should probably call in tomorrow?" "You're not going to get any sleep. Might as well," Blake said as his hand slipped between her legs. "Good night." Trevor winked at her and left the room. Liana tossed her leg back to his thighs, opening herself to his fingers. She closed her eyes and zoned out. Concentrate on now. That was probably the best thing to do. Blake took her back to a high state of arousal and did his best to keep her there. "I want to worship you, your body, give you all the love you deserve." "You do." "Then know that I'm no where near finished." She turned her face into his chest. She wasn't close to an orgasm, not so quickly, but the feeling was divine. "You are so beautiful," he whispered with a reverence that gave Liana goosebumps. Liana didn't know what she'd done to deserve so much praise, but goodness if Blake wasn't truly handsome. Lean, healthy, soft skin, firm from his dock work as a teen that stuck with him as he bulked up and became a man. He had dark nipples and sparse black hair on his chest. She kissed him and moaned as his fingers plunged inside her. She pushed his hand away and crawled on top of him and positioned him inside her. She soaked in every inch of him with her eyes, memorized the cut of his shoulders, the swell of his pectorals, the way the lamp light caressed his glowing caramel skin. She took her time riding him, moving her hips up and down, then in a circle. She just wanted to feel him. His hands caressed her thighs, held onto her. "Slow," he whispered, watching as she rose off him. He groaned as she eased down onto him. "Yeah, like that." He watched himself slide in and out of her. "You get so wet," he looked up to her face then back down to her breasts. She blushed and bit her bottom lip. "Thanks," she giggled. "Get on your hands and knees." She rose off him and got beside him on her hands and knees. He steadied her and reached up to caress her breast, kissed between her shoulders. He reached for something in his nightstand and then she went stock still as his lube covered fingers on her asshole. He stroked her back and hummed as if he were calming a scared child. He wasn't far off. When she relaxed, he knew it, because that's when he slid a second finger inside. The sensation surprised her. She didn't tense up as his finger moved very slowly in then back out. She closed her eyes and focused on the tickling sensation at her rear and the warmth from his hands as he stroked her back and thighs. She released a sigh of a moan as the sensation intensified. She wondered how many fingers he had worked up to, but gave up the math when he used his other hand to stroke her wet pussy. "Look at you," he purred. "Do you like the way that feels?" "I do," she gasped. "Oh, I can tell. Relax, open up for me." The timbre of her moan deepened. That was certainly not a finger. It burned slightly, hurt, but there was something wonderful about it at the same time. Blake handled her with a tenderness that took her mind off the pain. She glowed with pride when she heard him unravel. She made him do that, took away his ability to form a sentence, caused his hands to tremble when he touched her. "Imagine if Trevor were underneath you right now." Blake whispered. She didn't speak so much as shudder. "I don't think either one of us would last long in that situation." She laughed. "Probably not. You can go faster if you want." "I'm perfect. I can go faster if you want though." "Yes, please." He increased his pace a little at a time. She reached for the pillow at the head of his bed and let it muffle her moans. Her whole body shook. He wasn't pounding into her or anything, it was just the intensity and the proximity of yet another orgasm. Liana opened her eyes and gasped as Blake cleaned her with a warm damp cloth. "Welcome back, vixen." "Did I pass out?" He nodded. "Wow." "I know. I was there." Blake grinned. He tossed the cloth into the bathroom and pulled the covers over them. "Blake?" "Hmm?" He rose up onto an elbow and looked at her. "Anything you want." She blushed and whispered her request in his ear. Blake eased down until he was near her breast and took her nipple into his mouth. Liana bit down on her lip and closed her eyes as she blissed out. They were so sensitive and Blake's mouth felt divine. She combed her fingers through his hair and cradled him to her breast. As good as it felt she decided she wouldn't bother him if he stopped. There was no point in being greedy. Blake released her nipple and moved toward the other. "May I?" "Yes." This time she did moan as he latched onto her. Each suck went straight to her pussy, causing it to contract and pulse. She drifted to sleep on a cloud of euphoric bliss. *** Liana woke some time after Trevor left for work and before Blake woke up. She toasted herself a bagel and went out to the back porch with her phone. She needed to call in to work, but she let the phone sit there while she stared out at the overcast sky. It felt wonderful out this morning, the air smelled clean and pre-rain damp. She finished the bagel and picked up her phone to call to work first. She put her second in charge and notified her manager that she was taking a few days of her vacation. Thank goodness there wasn't in a rush. Her manager took the news rather well. Before she could think too hard on it she returned Angela's call. "Hey." "So," Angela sighed. "Eric called me." "Fantastic. What did he have to say?" "Listen, I know we've been friends a while, so I want you to know this is because I care about you. The evil that you were born into doesn't have to be what you become." Liana pulled the phone away from her ear to stare at the caller ID. "Did you just call me evil?" "No, darling. You're not, and you never should be. You know exactly what I'm talking about though, don't you?" "Yeah," she whispered. "I'm not going to live my life in a cage." "That doesn't mean you have to be with them. Corruption and degradation is all they are good for. Eric says there's still time to redeem your humanity. Two men? Why would you let them abuse you, take advantage of you? I'm so fucking worried. I know you won't want to talk to me, but I can't watch you ruin your life and say nothing." "It's not like that." "They aren't feeding off you?" "I'm going to go now," Liana whispered as she heard activity in the house. She ended the call and palmed the tears from her eyes. She burst into tears before she could manage to set the phone down. They weren't abusive. They weren't trying to degrade or harm her They shared energy. She gave and they gave back to her. It wasn't like that at all. "There you are," Blake still had the look of sleep, he frowned as he looked at her. "What happened?" "My um ... I don't understand why learning about who I am would make me evil." She sniffled. "Angela said I was..." He pulled out the chair beside her and sat down. He took her hand and she nearly launched into a full explanation of her tears. One look at the bulging muscle in his jaw and she decided against it. She caressed his hand with her thumb and calmed down. So maybe they were dangerous, eccentric. It was better not to say why she was crying. She didn't care what anyone thought, said, or implied. They did not do anything to her she didn't allow. Not just that, she wanted them, craved them. She was one of them. Blake took a deep breath. "Wraith born can cross over into the netherworld. Trevor tells me its full of horrors. You can harness that or ignore it. You can turn heads or make people ignore you. It depends. How it is any different than a naturally charismatic person? You are what you are: sweet, kind, sexy and I'll never think that's evil." "What if I change? What if do become evil?" Blake pulled her forehead to his and kissed her. "I'll be right there with you. Evil empress could look good on you too." Liana rolled her eyes and blushed. "You're hopeless." "Did you call in?" "Yes. I have a few days. I'll need to stop by my house, pick up some things if that's okay." Liana crawled into his lap and straddled him. "Sure thing." She reached between them and pulled his erection from his shorts and lowered herself onto him. No words were exchanged as she rode him, steady and furious while she listened to his rapturous moans. "Come inside me." "Yes, mistress." Blake grabbed her hips and thrusted himself to conclusion. "Thank you." She giggled and lay her head on his shoulder. "Do you know anyone hiring? I don't have a college degree, but I've worked inventory for six years." "If you want to work, we'll help you find a job, but you don't have to." "I want to." "Then we'll find you something you like." Liana rested on his shoulder and stared at the shore. She didn't have to work? How was that the behavior of someone who was abusive? Her father never let her out the house, never let her make friends, home schooled her, and forbid her to go to college. That was abuse. Trevor and Blake cared about her. She knew what she'd learned about them from their hours of bedroom talk. The three of them giggling and chatting like the slumber parties she'd heard about but never had. She could gauge their moods with what she thought was an eerie accuracy. She knew their individual tastes, dislikes, preferences. Blake stroked her back and they sat in silence for several minutes. "Feel better now?" "Yeah." "I need to get ready for work. Get some sleep before Trevor gets home." *** Liana showered and reclined on the couch. When Trevor arrived, she helped him carry in the groceries and put them away. He put his arms around her and kissed her, took his time, pulling away after each soft caress and pull. He made her feel cherished, adored, and it was strange to feel this after so long of being sheltered and side stepped and restrained. With his kiss Trevor proved all the things he said to her, that she was more than just a easy girl to have sex with. Trevor pulled back and relaxed his hold on her a bit. He'd been thinking about coming home to find her in his house, waiting on him, for weeks. "Blake left?" "Yes, a couple hours ago." "Can I show you something?" "That sounds ominous." She shrugged slightly. "Yes." "Go to my room." With a nod, she hurried into Trevor's room. She took off the shirt she had on and got on her knees, her hands on her lap, back straight, all the things he'd told her. She kept her chin up, but her eyes to the door. Her heart thundered as she heard him approach. "You look gorgeous. Up here." He took her hand and helped her onto the bed. She laid down on her back and he crawled over her, kissed her, running his hands over her body. She moaned as his warm hands cupped and massaged her breasts. He kissed her neck and nibbled her shoulder. She gasped when that nibble turned into a bite, but it wasn't too hard, just close. He chuckled and kissed along her shoulder. "You're all tense. Thanking about bolting away from me?" "No," Liana failed to fully relax, but she managed to unclench her hands. "Feels different. You feel different. Are you going to hurt me?" Trevor kneed her legs apart and rested on her. "That's exactly what I want to do." Liana stared at him. "Keep talking." He gave her a small grin as he traced the veins in her neck. "I want to lose myself in you, you know, the way Blake does every single time he touches you." She wore a confused expression. "You don't?" "I always keep one eye open, just in case. I'm different and that means it's easier for me to go too far, get too intense." "Have you been too far before?" she held her breath as he pressed into her. "Yeah. We were high and I disliked her, so I didn't care. She was wraith born, so she handled it fine." "Why did that matter?" "We heal quicker than normal." "Did she have a lot to heal from?" "Yes, she did." He settled onto her and caressed her shoulder. "I understand that probably makes you feel worse, but you deserve the truth." Liana combed her fingers through Trevor's hair. She basked in the feel of him, the smell, the nearness, how superb he made her feel. He was being honest with her, completely, and after all he'd done for her, she wanted to do something for him. No matter what the day brought, she wanted more of him, all of him. So what if he was dangerous? So what if they were dark? This was one of her own and he wanted something for himself. "Don't be afraid." "What?" He grinned boyishly. "Lose yourself." She swallowed. "I want you to let go. Don't hold back." "If I do, then I want you to join me. Let go. Don't think. Don't analyze. Don't worry." "I'll follow wherever you lead." His eyes fluttered closed and he groaned. "Say it again," he breathed. "I'll follow you your lead, Trevor. Fuck me. No thinking about it. Close both eyes and fuck me, and I'll fuck you back." His next words were unintelligible, mumbled as he gripped her hips and lifted her to meet his thrust. When he made her scream it was genuine, a scream that preceded the down drop of a roller coaster ride, the sheer thrill of surprise. Trevor had an animal inside him, a feral beast that wanted nothing more than to rut to his heart's content, and she was the object of that beast's lusts. The way Trevor lost himself was nothing like Blake. He pulled her into an opiate fantasy, a single loop of adoration, ecstasy, and carnal lust - a near euphoric completion. Even more surprising was the beast she discovered within herself, the need to meet him as an equal, to give as good as she got. When she saw blood staining the sheets, she thought nothing of it, wasn't even sure whose blood it was or what body part it came from. This is what evil feels like, Liana thought with an indulgent grin as she climaxed. The sound of her roar in her ears, the sting of distant pains, the buzz of lust, the maelstrom of energy running through her. She didn't orgasm anymore, her body buzzed constantly, came constantly, she reached a plateau of pleasure and lust that had no end in sight. "Again, you sexy bitch, do it again." Trevor growled into her ear, not slowing one bit, their bodies slapping, the bed rocking, and all under the full light of the afternoon sun. *** Trevor lay sleeping, undisturbed by her petting. The consequence of letting go was all around them. The bed was several feet removed from its original position. The sheets were soaked in their blood and sweat and fluids. Her finger bite wound on his chest. The deep blue and violet bruising lightened, like the setting of the sun, to a reddish yellow. There was a similar process taking place on her skin, much slower than his own. He was stronger, so much stronger than her. She could actually feel his touch, the vibration of his voice. Oh, the decadence he could bring with his lips, tongue, and hands. "What the fuck happened in here?" Liana lifted her head to look at Blake in the door. "Didn't take it easy on her this time," Trevor eyes remained closed. "No shit. Looks like a horror movie set." Liana chuckled and rolled onto her back. "Um, I got a few things to fix up the spare room. Did you take her home yet?" Trevor grunted a negative reply. Liana stretched and closed her eyes. "I can do that later," she mumbled as she let sleep take her. *** Liana woke on her stomach, legs spread, arms pinned down by Blake's darker skin. His cock plunged deep inside her with slow deliberation. "Hey," she purred as she angled her hips up. He kissed her shoulder and nuzzled the back of her neck. He trembled slightly as he pushed inside her. He was going to climax soon. Liana clenched tight around him, encouraging his release. "You feel so good, Liana," he whispered just before his whole body stiffened. He held onto her with an iron grip as his hips jerked, spasmed. She braced for a sting as he rested against her, but she didn't feel anything that spoke of the wounds and cuts she remembered having. "Sleep well?" "Yeah, what time is it?" "Six." "I'm starving." He chuckled as he rolled off her. "Then let's get you fed." *** Liana pushed herself upright and rubbed her sleep weary eyes. Dark in the room. Part of her seemed still asleep. "Liana?" Trevor whispered. She hummed. Was he on her on left. Her left palm met cold sheets. Right side, yes, he was there. "Trevor." "Lay down." "Something." She had spoken. She understood she had not said enough to get her point across, but the words to express that thought failed her. Liana shook her head and focused. "What happened?" "You know how Blake can pass out when you push energy onto him?" "Yes." "It can be different between wraith born. It can be very disorienting the first time." She nodded. "You said that. Keep talking." "We blacked out around the same time. I didn't wake until you moved. Difference is, I can form my words better." She snorted. "Yeah." "How do you feel?" "Illegal." Trevor moaned in agreement. "Float." "That too." "You two are a drug and I'm addicted," she mumbled. "I'm glad you feel that way." "Yeah?" "Hell yes." He laid back and pulled her beside him. "I love you, Liana. Every time I think of you, I want to drown you in my affection, even when I fear that doing so will mean you'll run away from me screaming. You are so beautiful, sensual. Yes, the fact that you are first loving wraith born female I've ever met. Even if you want to leave us one day--" "No!" She actively fought against her lethargy. "I love both of you. Scared." "You aren't going anywhere any time soon. You're attached? We can't even let twelve hours pass before one of us is inside you. Blake nearly beat the shit out of me after he saw us lying in a pool of our own blood." Liana couldn't help but blush a little at that. "He is scared, too." "Yeah," Trevor pressed a kiss to her nose. "We fight over you, often. Especially when you leave and don't come back," he sighed. "I'm as attached to you as Blake is, and even though that frightens me, I don't regret it." Trevor rolled her onto her back and kissed her, a deep, hungry, passionate kiss. "I would rather loved you with the fullness of my heart than hold anything back." "My ass needs the fullness of your cock." Trevor chuckled. "Mmm, tell me more." "I want you to fuck me. Dig your nails into my flesh. Make me sing your praise." "Damn, woman." She went still as stone as his hand squeezed her throat. She moaned as he entered her, easy and smooth considering how wet she was. After a few strokes, Trevor withdrew and positioned himself at her rear. He pressed against her puckered hole, patient, yet persistent, waiting for her relax. Liana silently thanked Blake for easing the passage. Trevor was much thicker and far more demanding. She gasped and groaned as he seated himself deep inside her. Trevor bit her hard on her shoulder and she writhed under him. By the sound of his deep chuckle, that was exactly what he wanted her to do. He let go of her throat and caressed her breasts, pulled on her nipples, pinched and twisted them, but he didn't move his hips as all. she was the one wiggling, twisted, bucking against him. "Be still," he growled through clenched teeth. Sweat dripped from his brow to her back. Liana did the opposite. She leaned down, pushed her hips back onto him. "More. I want more." She was merciless, greedy. When it was over she was spent, they lay snuggled next to each other on top of the sheet. "When you went to the bathroom that night on the boardwalk, both Blake and I, like we were twins or something, said, 'I want to bring her home.' Otherwise, we would have booked a room at the beach, then brought you home." He wrapped his arms tighter around her. "We knew from the moment we kissed you that we loved you, Liana. As stupid, dangerous, and silly as it sounds, the powers of a wraith born female are not understated. We are yours. Be careful, love, for your power over us cannot be resisted." She smiled. "Are you talking about my sore ass?" "Yes, and anything else that you think about demanding of me." "I enjoyed it." She kissed his arm. "I loved the intensity of it. When you open to me, I get a sense of your soul, your joy. I pulled that pleasure out of you and onto me. It overwhelmed me, but in a good way, like jumping from too high a ledge. I love it when you hurt me. I know it's got nothing to do with anger. I think you find strength in my vulnerability. I trust you with my life. That trust is not misplaced." "Fuck, how was I so lucky to find you?" "You have a friend like Blake." He laughed. "Too true." -_ Abducted _- Eric pulled up behind her car just as she pulling away from her old house. Now that she was living with Trevor and Blake, she only stopped by to check on the place until it sold. "You've moved out." Liana nodded. "I guess this will be our last time seeing each other. I have a few buyers lined up for the place." "I urge you to reconsider your choice." "Listen. I don't know what you've heard or what you think you know, but this is my decision and there are things about me you don't understand. Save it. I've been gone for weeks." Eric gave a solemn nod. "I see you've thought this through." He muttered something as he walked away. It wasn't until later that she learned what that something was. He said it again when he hauled her into the trunk of his car. "The blood is always true." Liana knew it was useless, but she struggled and fought the whole way. Eric's grip had no give. She was a petulant toddler compared to him and the cords he used to bind her wrists and ankles. After giving it her best effort, she grew too tired to put up more of a fight. She went limp as he carried her. Maybe she could reserve something for a burst later. "I know what you're trying to do. You already played that hand when you pushed me down last month. There's nothing wrong with being strong, healthy, or good with a few of the arcane arts, but I know what type of sorcery Trevor practices. I made a deal with your father, as long as you lived a righteous life, I would not turn you over. You brought this on yourself." Liana's words were muffled behind her gag. "Who do you think you are?" The time for that burst of energy never came, by the time she'd caught her breath for another fight, he had her tied between two spikes in the ground. She couldn't reach the wooden two-by-fours, but she could stretch the rope enough to tire herself out trying. She felt like an animal tied for slaughter. Exactly like that. Liana looked around and saw only the towering of trees, the twinkle of a few stars through the canopy. He'd lit several candles, buried in the dirt in a circle around her. She slumped to the dirt while she watched him change out of his clothes and into a long robe. Eric, her friend, the only person her father had approved of ... along with Angela. He was a stranger to her now, a menace. What time was it? Was it past time for her to be back at the house yet? How long until they noticed she was gone? Would they come looking for her? Would it be in time? The good life had been too short. She'd just begun to live, to learn about herself, her abilities. Speaking of which ... she looked at the other things in the ground, the spikes bearing a script she'd seen Trevor write in. This looked a lot like a gate configuration. According to the words Eric spoke, he sought to open said gate. Liana closed her eyes and wept. She turned her face away from him so that he wouldn't see her tears. She listened though. She wanted to know whom she would die to appease, what she was dying for. Unfortunately, most of his words sounded like pure gibberish and the rest sounded like he was throwing out the trash. Maybe he didn't have a fucking clue what he was doing. Did that mean she would die for nothing? No, she realized as the air around her changed, he knew what he was doing and the gate was opening. This angered Liana more than death itself. This self-righteous prick would spill her blood based on fear, ignorance, and hatred. Liana whispered a prayer. If Eric was indeed opening a gate, if he was truly trying to rend the veil, then inside this circle, inside this tear, she had the best chance of being heard. And what would she pray for? For him to be successful? For her to live? For her freedom? For understanding, mercy? What happened to wraith born in the land of the underworld? She never got around to that lesson. She didn't know. It didn't matter. She was desperate. Liana prayed for whatever options were available to her at a time like this. It wasn't like she had time to prepare. She'd been taken against her will. She put all of that in her prayer. For that, she had time. "Take this abomination of flesh and spirit. Eat of it that you may teach a lesson to others that would create such things on this plane." Eric's pontificating was interrupted by her muffled lamentation. He went silent and she with him. She kept her eyes closed, but her head turned. She didn't hear him come towards her. He'd probably stay outside the circle until... Hands touched her shoulders causing a tingling, chilly pressure that worked its way into her muscle. The pair of hands felt her body, caused her to shiver. Was she going to put up a fight? Right. Because she'd have a much better chance with a netherworld creature than Eric? No. Liana relaxed and did not scream as the sensation wrapped around her midsection. The chill lingered, causing her to shudder. Eric reacted with chittering glee as he watched. Could he see it? Did he really hate her so much? Liana cracked her eyes open the tiniest bit. All she saw was the flicker of candle light, but it wasn't the orange white color she expected. The flame looked darker orange with sparks of green and blue. "You are Liana?" The male voice inquired. "Yes," she mumbled. It pulled down her gag. "Yes." She wouldn't turn her head to see what could touch her this way, what had such a dark, resounding voice. If there was malice in its expression, if there was a weapon to her throat, she didn't want to face it. Eric said something, but his voice sounded far away, as if some door had closed between them. "Have you given up?" Liana looked at the rope burns on her wrists, wrists that were no longer bound. The fatigue in her body began to fade. "No." If there was some chance to escape with her life, she wanted it. "I just don't know how to fight." "Fight me?" Liana grinned and forgot about her fear for that brief moment. She finally saw the creature in front of her, still running its hands along her body. The underworld certainly had its share of nightmare fuel. His eyes were tiny, but numerous, like a spider's, six of them, a round nose, a heavy jaw filled with teeth. His ears were long, thin, and twitched as he leered at her. In the odd flicker of light his skin appeared wet, mottled. She didn't look at the rest of his body. She kept her eyes on the several gleaming reflections of lights in his eyes. Fight him? "No. You did not drag me here." It leaned forward and her fingers filled with an itching tingle as the blood rushed back. She slowly moved her hands into her lap and massaged her oxygen starved hands. Should she run now? Was he setting her free? Eric's shouts passed through the barrier. The creature's expression changed to something that might have been irritation, anger, or boredom as it turned to look at him beyond the inner circle. His hand, however, reached out for her legs. He pulled them apart and lifted her to sit on his hip in the way one would carry a young child. Liana winced as her whole body hummed as if touching electricity. She turned her face upward to gaze at the trees above. The sky seemed different now, colored weird, as if some kind of film stood between her and the twinkling of the stars. The lights looked diffused, tinged purple. "Please, if you have to take me, kill him first." This drew the creature's attention. "Kill him? Why? He delivered you to me." "What for?" "You are valuable. In return, I will grant him a favor." "I'm not sure what kind of value I have, but I don't belong to him. I wasn't born to him, raised by him, known by him. I'm not his to give away or offer. What has he actually given up? He committed a crime against our laws. He is a thief, and I am an adult and in control of my own body. I'll ... I won't fight if you just kill him." "You are already mine. You will do as I say." "Surely this will go easier if I do your bidding willingly?" "Easier for you, fleshling." It made some small motion with its body. Was that in consideration? Agreement? Doubt? Threat? Something pressed itself around her back and Liana bit down on her tongue. He was right. There was no bargaining her way out of this. "As collector, I deal with fleshlings often. The young ones cry, the old ones scream, most do both." He set her on her feet. "Do not attempt an escape. I will punish the thief." *** Liana returned to consciousness by degrees. She was shivering, aching, tired, even her bones hurt. As her vision cleared, her fear deepened. She had been put in some type of large crate, surrounded by diminutive monsters, disfigured mutations of animals. They made high pitched sounds of delight when they noticed she was awake. Imps? Was that what these things were? Maybe pooka. These were things that existed in the netherworld, a place she never truly believed existed. If these were real, then was everything he taught her based on fact? Well, she was. Liana sat up and folded her legs. Three of the imps galloped off leaving her with the bug eyed drooling round one. "Good," a dray voice crooned. A thick, spiky man rounded the corner and smiled at her. "I hear you surrender without scuttle. Rare. Bodes fortune." Liana let her hands rest in her lap and held onto her sanity. These creatures truly existed, and she appeared to be in a place that seemed like the netherworld. Dragged here by that spider eye'd collector that killed Eric. At least Eric was dead. "Not sad?" The raspy man drew closer. "I like. No spill sweet eye water. New owner will need those tears, drink them from face." New owner? "I belong to someone else." He cackled and waggled his head. "Oh, ho, ho. Like way your owner keep you." He laughed until his dry coughs silenced him. "Mine. My trade. My treat." "What happens to me is my choice, not yours." Strong words for such a weak voice. She pulled on her strength, felt it pool in her hands. Child's play, like riding a bike. The squawk that issue forth from the man's mouth was near comical. He stumbled back from the crate and shouted in a weird language. The little monsters squealed and squabbled with him as if they were having an argument. He snapped at them, pointed to her, his bony finger trembled with fury. The monsters answered in pleading whines. Then the man stood tall, smoothed his thin hair back and circled the crate. "No good Karja. Hate educated Karja. No fun for me. My trade. Mine!" He stomped away, spitting on the nearest imp he passed. There was a wraith patron ... the first male wraith she learned about. What was his name? She rubbed her head and frowned. She didn't have the slightest clue. Something with a B or D or ... E? One of the rabbit-piglet-like things waddled closer. She stared at it with wide blinking eyes. "Someone will find me. I know a powerful wraith born." She didn't know if any of her words would matter. She'd disappeared before, left Trevor and Blake and didn't return. How long until they missed her? The imps eventually left her with a single guard. The spiked man seemed visibly upset by her attempt to gather energy. She probably should have waited for an opportunity to escape. The tears were a torrent, the pain of her loneliness was made more acute on the account of the ball of energy she'd been holding. She had no view of the sky, but she was sure it was well on its way up soon. She was sleepy, exhausted, but she barely closed her eyes before jolting back awake. Beyond the walls somewhere voices were raised in argument. All she could make out were the occasional shouts. "Bad trade," it was the spiked man, his dry voice made worse. Liana hid her face behind her arms. "Karja bitch build strength. Need leash." "That won't be necessary. Lift the cage." Liana's head snapped up. It won't be necessary? Why? She passed out shortly after the crate rose. She barely got a look at her new jailer before pain exploded behind her head. -_ Captive _- "Take this one to Jay, Malut," he pointed to the next one, "Farrus." More names. His imp followed close behind making note, ordering his own assistants in a lower voice. The decision to overlook and leave the sleeping beauty for last was either a fortunate mistake or a subconscious decision. Either way, when the other sacrifices and tributes had been dragged away sobbing, muttering, screaming, or groaning in agony, this last one remained, curled up in a fetal position in the corner. He signaled the imp and his assistants to leave. The high lord rarely kept any gifts for himself. He'd grown tired of dealing with the squealing, screeching things, but this one, for the moment, piqued his interest. She would probably wake from her coma and start wailing like the others, but it amused Drake to think that she was merely sleeping, tired from her journey. He smiled as he draped her over his arm. He searched her body for the wound that knocked her unconscious, the injury that had caused her to miss the trip, but he did not find a source. The band on her arm marked her as tribute. They were rare and in decidedly better condition, but always difficult once the little thing realized the gravity of the situation. How else would she have earned so many scrapes and bruises? He carried her back to his home away from the stink of new toys and set her down upon a bed of lounging furs. *** Her head hurt, so did her neck, her spine. Something smelled rank. Liana cracked open an eye and saw the undulating folds of multi-colored and multi-textured fur. Beyond that was the glow of a low fire, several points of light gave the room a warm glow. It was the flickering flame she paid the most attention too, dark reddish orange with bits of green. She pushed herself up slowly. There was someone else in the room with her. She shuffled her entire body around rather than move her aching head. Her breath caught. He was huge, a giant if she ever saw one. Looking at him, those horns, heavy brow, corded muscle. Those lingering nightmares were memories and life was only getting worse. She would never find her way home from this place. She glanced down at the assorted animal skins under her. Well, no one set their dinner on the equivalent of a dog bed. A dog bed. What did that make her? Liana lay back down, resting her sore shoulders. She kept her eyes on him while her mind turned over. Her heart hammered, her mouth dry, but she had not yet come up with a reason to panic. She had not been chained. As if that was necessary. He could probably break her legs with a twist of his wrist. She didn't appear to be in a dungeon or another cage. No small monsters scurried about this place. Everything in here was so huge. It made her feel small. Was this a wraith or something different? He spoke. It was a question that sounded Asian, then Latin, Spanish, "Habla Espanol?" "English," she whispered. Her throat hurt. "I have something for you to drink." He said with a leer. She followed his eyes to the glass on the table beside him. What, if not for torture or for food, would a thing like him want with a woman like her? Was she his pet? A thing for his amusement? Did he buy her? The room she was sold in was far too small for someone of his size. She pushed herself to her feet. Dizziness won the battle and she opted to crawl. She couldn't lift her head to see if he was staring at her. She concentrated on not moving too quickly, not upsetting her head. "Are you in pain?" The tone sounded truly concerned. "Yes." Speaking hurt, but nodding would have been more painful. "It's getting better. I'll heal." She sat back on her heels and looked at his leg. He was easily twice her size, but not absurdly large. He probably stood seven feet tall, maybe eight. It was the width, his mass, that made him appear so formidable. She pulled herself up to his knees and with a strength that made her feel as light as an infant, he lifted her into his lap. She was still cradled in his arm when he reached for the cup. The opening was as big as her head, but he didn't put it to her lips. He drank from it and smiled at her. Liana took a deep breath. At least he wasn't the source of the foul stench in the room. In fact, he smelled, well ... there was certainly a body odor, but not the kind that would turn a person away. It was that hint of fresh sweat and pungent chemicals. She kneeled on his thigh and leaned on his chest. She licked a bit of liquid from his bottom lip. It was pungent, bitter and a little sweet, unlike any wine or liquor she'd ever tasted, but it was liquid and she was thirsty. He chuckled as she pressed her lips to his, but she heard that teasing laughter soften as she sucked on his tongue. The thing was as big as four of her fingers put together. She pulled back and looked at him, hopefully with as demure and humble an expression as she could muster. "May I have more?" With a nod he filled his mouth again, but he did not tease her this time. He cradled her head and let small amounts of the liquid dribbled from his mouth into hers. She was probably ingesting his saliva as well. It couldn't be any more dangerous than the liquid filling her belly. "Are you a wraith?" "Are you?" "I'm something called wraith born." "Only a figment of a wraith then. A bit old to be shipped back to this side." "I was taken against my will." "Most tributes are. Odd, we rarely have a wraith born in the pile. Do you know where you are?" He ran his fingers over her body. Not Kansas, Liana wryly thought. "Other than the netherworld, no." He hummed. "You are not afraid?" "I'm terrified." "You do not act like it." She wiped the sweat from her brow and ran her slick palm over his thick arm. "I am." She rested her head on his massive chest and closed her eyes. The throbbing in her head was a little less severe than earlier, but her neck was still screaming. "I usually recover faster." "You are weak." She interpreted his staccato grunting as a chuckle. She trembled as the sweat chilled her and her nerves about his intent spiral into worse-case scenarios. "And yes, I smell your fear now." She started at a sound just outside his room. It sounded like the falling of a heavy boulder. The sudden movement sent a roll of nausea through head. He bowed her head down and his finger probed the her back and then her neck. He touched the base of her scalp and Liana nearly blacked out. It was too painful to scream. His chest vibrated with the sound of discovery. "I see. You will not heal in such state. Will I have trouble out of you?" How could she know the answer to that? "What do you want from me?" "For now, feign sleep. What you experience is for your health and recovery. Play at sleep." She closed her eyes and went slack against his chest. Minutes later she heard the scraping of a heavy door. His voice rumbled in her ear as she listened to the vibration coming from his lungs. The conversation was in a language she did not understand, so she concentrated on the sound, the way the rise and fall of his chest moved her. She felt like a child compared to his size. She heard the wet sniffle near her body, the foreign question. Something smelled like turned mushrooms and grass. He hummed and his answer must have been in the affirmative, because there was a gleeful chittering in her ear. What did he agree to? He moved her body, eased her down until she was mostly resting on his thighs, on her back, her head on his belly. He drew her legs up and back, spreading her indecently. 'Keep your eyes closed,' Liana cautioned as panic twisted her gut. No matter what was about to happen to her, it was going to go infinitely better if she didn't see it coming. No trouble. Don't be trouble. Something wet, squishy flicked against her asshole. She puckered in response and tried not to to hold her breath, tried not to tense as the worm like thing circled her anus. It actually felt pretty good, but she worried what might follow. The worm thing slipped inside her. It must have been no bigger than a finger, but the length rivaled anything she had known. She groaned as her lower stomach cramped. The best she could do was make it sound sleepy, as if she were unconscious. The wormy muscle thing was getting deeper inside her, and then, as if she were taking the longest shit of her life, it withdrew. One of her captor's hands held her legs back and the other hand rubbed her belly. Liana's breath hitched. His erection poked hard and warm at her back. She would have bolted and run if not for her pain and fatigue. The longer she lay there, the more her mind wandered to some mental idea of what he was packing, how big it might be. It was a terrible thing to think about at a time like this, but her vaginal walls clenched regardless. It was something for her mind to focus on, a way to forget about the cramping of her belly. She wondered if she'd be able to fit a behemoth like him insider her. She could probably fit him inside her, given enough time. What about her mouth? Could she suck on him? What if it wasn't an erection at all? What if that's what he felt like half mast? That would hurt. No, there was some blood in that muscle at her back. He had to be at more than half erect. Liana felt something leak from her ass, and then, as if that worm thing had irritated her bowels. She realized that she needed to go, but she was pretending to be asleep, unaware. She passed the bowel with a grunt and felt something lapping at her anus, then sucking. 'Do Not Open Your Eyes!' Liana mentally screamed. Something foul, disgusting and greatly deformed must have been touching her, and looking at it would help her situation. Its mouth left a filmy coolness on her as each time it pulled away. It was there for what seemed like forever, using its sucker mouth to coax more shit from her ass. It seemed to have no interest at all in her pussy, which felt like it was dripping wet at this point. Despite the disgust, the thing was stimulating her, ringing its tongue over her between movements. New moisture flowed from her with each pulse of her vaginal walls. With a single word from the man holding her, some slurred response from the thing at her rear, it ended, and another scrape of the door plunged the room into near silence. He did not close her legs or return them to a resting position. A single, fat finger slid over her folds causing her to shudder. He lowered her legs and cradled her in his arm. "Someone is looking for you." Trevor?! Liana kept her eyes closed and buried deeper into his shoulder. His scent filled her nostrils. "Someone here," he added as the pad of his thumb circled her nipple. "Someone spotted you as a wraith born and got spooked. You ended up in my sorting room by accident according to the message I received." Liana didn't know what he was talking about, who on this side wanted her, or how she ended up with him, so she remained in her 'fake sleep' state. "You are obedient. I appreciate that." His hand parted her thighs and a finger worked its way inside her pussy. Liana breathed through her urge to moan. There was no way she could pretend this wasn't happening, but he hadn't told her to open her eyes. She squeezed around his finger, silently wished for him to continue. "Open your eyes." She looked at him and shuddered as he added a second finger. His fat thumb brushed her clitoris. He eased his fingers in and out with a maddening slowness. Her body shook each time his fingers withdrew. She was so close, if only he added a little more pressure, but it was silly to think he was doing this for any other reason than his own amusement. Regardless, her thighs parted as far as she could get them, her hips jerked in an effort to seek that extra bit of pleasure. Sexual energy is powerful, and she needed some power, a way to keep him entertained. He slipped his fingers from her body and cradled her higher on his chest. Then she heard the tale tell shuffle as he masturbated. His breath turned heavy. Liana lay her head on his shoulder and made no attempt to try and get a look. She listened to him breathe, his small groans, felt the twitch of his shoulder muscle. She found it oddly satisfying when he finally came, felt the heat of his semen as it hit her thighs and slid down. He lifted his sticky hand to her face. There was a curious look in his eyes. No matter what this creature holding her captive was, he was the most male looking thing she'd met in this place. She eased forward and licked his fingers. He tasted pungent, overly sweet, like some kind of tart tropical fruit on the cusp of going bad. It was a profoundly weird taste, but she could stomach it, probably not drink it. She tasted a bit of herself as well, and sweat. He chuckled and Liana cast her eyes up to him as she sucked on two of his fingers, which, together, were as big as a cock. Goodness, she didn't want to see what was between his legs. "Do you want me to keep you?" He grinned. "If I can't go back home, yes." She answered. Better the devil you know. She examined his hand and made sure she'd cleaned him. "What are you called?" "Liana." Another hum, a satisfactory one, she assumed. "Liana, I am Drake, high lord of the volcanic realm of Hedra. One of the four great lands of the underworld. I think this is the region you most associate with your description of a place called Hades." Delightful. She braced herself on his shoulder and wriggled until he granted her the freedom to sit on the arm of his chair. She steadied herself with his help. "I was brought here against my will. I do prefer to be in my own land, but if I must be here as ... as..." "Tribute." "As tribute, then I'd prefer to be here of my own will, and I willingly give myself to you." "You have no choice." "The choice matters to me," she softly insisted. "I prefer you." "As opposed to returning home?" He sneered. "No. There is a wraith born and wraith touched pair of men that I adored and that were teaching me about myself. I miss them dearly. I won't lie and tell you that being abducted, beaten, caged, and starved have made me love this place." She took a deep breath and lowered her eyes. "I'm used to being kept places against my will. Most of my life was spent in confinement. I can adjust, if I have to stay, I think I could learn to be satisfactory to you." He huffed at that, scowled and twitched as if to hit her. Yes, he was, after all, some kind of important creature. She doubted 'high lord' was the equivalent of mister. His eyes narrowed as he asked. "I will give you a choice. Do I deliver you to the creature that seeks you, set you free, keep you as my own, or take you back home?" Not as if she could make an educated choice. Liana looked around his room once more. There were no dead bodies, no body parts. It seemed she'd be no different that a cat or dog ... or a slave, but a living one. "I truly have a choice in the matter?" "Yes." "I choose to stay with you." It was a trick, she'd known that, but she had to make him believe that she wouldn't give him any problems. She didn't want him to sell her to anyone else. "After a while, when perhaps you grow tired of me, will you then allow me to, if it's possible..." Her shoulders slumped. Go back to what? After how long? "Never mind." *** Drake understood that humans were cunning creatures, intelligent and calculating. The wraith born were even more so, but this girl acted nothing like the vicious, arrogant wraith born he had encountered. He rarely saw these qualities in the simpering, delirious adolescents delivered to his realm. She was traded and sold specifically for Jeshu according to the Pacchia. Jeshu would have found a way to make her scream, a way to make her bleed, and then to leech her of vitality. Jeshu spent years feeding off his stock and a wraith born would have been quite the delicacy. The Pacchia declared her to be healthy, disease free, with a bounty of wraith energy, bountiful, well-suited to the realm of Hedra. The lustful creatures that first fucked a human came from this realm. Jeshu's tar pits would have her lovely skin covered in grime within the hour, a filth that would have caked on her body and seeped into her soul. He brushed her flushed skin, slick with a new sheen of sweat. What was he going to do with a half wraith in the underworld? A high lord had no cause for live-in diversions. Drake settled on amusing himself with her until bored, then considering her request. "I will keep you for now." He inspected her head. Now that she was recuperating, the healing process took over. The longer she was in his realm, she might be able to latch onto her latent talents. He stood and carried her to the spring. He pulled off his loin cloth and stepped into the murky water. He looked down into her smiling face. "What do you find so amusing?" "That's why you smell so nice. You bathe." He furrowed his brows with suspicion. "This is not a bath. The minerals in this pool heal wounds." He dipped her into the water. "Are you wounded often?" "High lord is not an elected office." She chuckled and Drake found he liked the sound. It was a change from the screams. After a moment, the mirth drained from her. She tensed and squeezed her eyes shut. Her body squirmed, causing the water to churn around them. Drake found amusement in this clear sign of agony, her inner fight to remain quiet. She groaned through clenched teeth and made her body calm down. He watched her endure the pain with great fascination. Yes, Jeshu would have enjoyed this one. Her eyes fluttered open. The whites had turned red, bringing Drake to attention. He lifted her out the water and up to his chest. Her arms wrapped around him and she clung to his body like a frightened elfling. The spring was not a gentle place. The mending mites were harsh, but they were efficient. He carried her to the fountain and stood under it with her until they were rinsed, then he lay her on his bed. He stood and stared at her as her limp body twitched. He had no way to restrain her, nothing in which to cover her, no protective garments. Drake never spent more than an hour with a human before getting it off to its intended recipient. Jeshu had probably received word of where his mishandled tribute had ended. He would patiently await her arrival, if not today, then soon. No one ever minded that he borrowed their property due to his short attention span. It will be the same with her, Drake assured himself. Forget the restrains or covers. She'd try to escape and he'd send her off as planned. He returned to work at his desk, cataloging the deliveries, looking over recruitment schedules. *** Liana opened her eyes and felt amazing, refreshed. She felt the back of her head, the bruises, sprains. The sadistic spa treatment performed as promised. She rolled her neck and shoulders, stretched and flexed. She was up on the bed. His hulking form was bent over a desk, his back to her. She looked around the room. It had opened up. There were hallways and windows out to the darkness beyond. The reddish glowing in the distance must have been the volcanic activity. Hell was a beautiful place in the evening. Her face twisted into a worried frown as she noticed how much closer she was to the door than him. "May I look outside?" For a while she thought maybe he was too deep into whatever he was doing to hear her. She wouldn't repeat the question for fear of annoying him. "Go ahead." She hopped down from the bed, happy to find it didn't give her a piercing headache when she landed. She approached the open window. Her nudity should have mattered, but it wasn't like she expected him to have a shirt for her to wear. She craned her head up to look at the things flying overhead, circling as if looking for food. It looked like she was in a castle. People, creatures, things, and other unidentifiable things were milling about, carrying supplies, dragging living things along. There was a whole bustling city taking place below. Never mind the door, she was content to stare out the window. It really was hell down there. Monsters, demons, imps, wraith, creatures that spawned many of the mad raving of the plagued came together to form a society, a city of commerce, violence, and play - living, dead, and inanimate. Liana was trapped in a horror novel, with the high lord of such a perilous place. Better the devil you know, Liana reminded herself. She turned away from the window and went over to his chair. She sat on the floor beside his feet and wondered what the life of a dog was like. Desperate for attention, constantly bored, hungry, greedy for something delicious, wanting to play, able to sleep whenever it wanted. Maybe the dog slept out of profound boredom. She felt sympathy for the house pet, the child, the caged bird. This was going to get old fast. She'd already spent too much of her life in this role. At least she was warm, not in pain, protected. But hungry, really hungry. She got to her feet and perused the room. She learned where everything was though she didn't know what she was looking at. The furniture, the items, even the books were weird. she was near the pile of furs when she smelled that foul stench again. She took that on as her mission, finding the source of the smell. It was in the corner behind a stone box, bloated, stiff, six legs and a tail, its mouth gaped open. It looked to have gotten trapped back there. Liana stared down at the thing as she wondered how she'd get it up and out. She didn't think she was strong enough to move the box, or if she should. She should probably reach down and get it, but she didn't want to pick it up with her hands. The thought of it falling apart when she touched it made her stomach flip. Whispers drew her attention. Liana pulled her head up and looked over to Drake. Someone had entered the room and was speaking with him. Drake listened, but both of them were looking at her, her ass in the air, her knees on top of the box. It was so easy to forget she was naked in this oppressive heat. Liana lowered her rear and smiled at Drake. His expression remained unchanged, but the other, scaled, fanged creature whipped his hail back and forth and gnash his teeth in what seemed to be an excited expression. If she were a dog, Liana crouched down on the box and rested her head on her arm. It was the most disgusting smelling corner of the room to choose to lie down, but she couldn't take her eyes off that thing, except to check out Drake's expression. Am I safe? She wondered. She hoped he'd give her some indication. Was this the person who had been looking for her? They continued speaking and eventually the lizard thing's gaze left her completely. She didn't dare move until it left. That look out the window made her realize that this was not some dream she'd wake from, some fate she would escape. she wasn't born of this place and she'd be stupid to turn her back. She didn't deserve this fate, but she didn't have to be a slave to it. *** "If it does, can I?" Farrus begged. "If it does," Drake conceded. "None of mine look that nice. All the ones you gave me have to be kept in a box." "I just send them off, I don't select them." "Who picked that for you?" "No one. This one was intended for Jeshu." "How did you end up with it?" "Transport error, but that doesn't matter. I'll give the factory another week." "Want me to send an overseer?" "Not yet, I think the message got through this time. If I don't get a shipment within the week then send the serpents with the overseer." Farrus gave a nervous shudder of glee. Recalling his other reasons to be happy, he jerked his gaze to Liana, but she had not moved. "It's not good to let them go untethered," Farrus hissed. "They get unruly the longer you let them roam free. This one is different. Has she fainted yet? Mine faint at least four times a cycle. They're little bodies overheat." "If it comes to that, Jeshu will get what belongs to him." Drake walked Farrus to the door. "Shame to let such a nice specimen turn wild." Farrus mused as he finally left. Once Drake was on the street he continued with his errands. It would be better if she went wild sooner than later. If he kept the wraith-human any longer than a couple days then he would have to procure some kind of restraint. *** When Drake did not immediately return she went to his work table. Whatever language they used seemed to be pictorial in nature, and not completely foreign. These were the symbols used by sorcerers. She'd seen this script used in Trevor's office. Shadow world script. Where was this place? Was her body dead? Had she physically crossed over or had she been found along with Eric's body in the woods? Did anyone know she was gone yet? No, she had a body, one that hurt and bled and wanted food. And sex ... Liana tried not to think about it, but the heat, her nakedness, her thighs felt slick against each other. Maybe it was from that spring. Even as much as she feared the reptilian creature she wondered what that tongue would feel like inside her. With a groan, Liana moved on to explore the confines of her new home. She could adjust, go back to the way she'd been with her father ... guardian. New surroundings had become second nature. She eventually found something to pick the rotting corpse up with. She tossed it out the window and used a cloth to clear up the rest. She made several trips to the fountain to rinse the cloth. Once she had that area clean the rest became automatic. If this was going to be her new home, and if she was going to spend her time in here naked, then a good wipe down would help. *** Drake didn't predict any outcome. In truth, he'd forgotten about the woman, but he remembered the moment he crossed the threshold into his home. Nothing appeared to have been moved, but the thin film of fine ash that covered almost everything in Hedra was gone. He found her, ass upturned, pussy engorged and weeping, face buried in a storage chest. He quietly observed her while giving a glance to his table. She'd been up there as well. Stacks had been straightened, piles organized. While Drake knew that tributes not immediately consumed or drained were often used as entertainment and decoration, in her, he saw a potential reserved for imps and bargiles, creatures he could barely withstand in his personal space. "Is this your pantry?" She asked. He was surprised that she sensed and recognized his presence. "Yes." "Does it have to be prepared?" "Not by you or I. Are you hungry?" She pushed herself to her feet and nodded. "Very." He walked into the storage area and opened the top cabinet. He noticed this area had been cleaned as well. "You got up here?" "I used your chair." She clasped her hands in front of her and waited with wide eyes. He took down the small jar and handed it to her. "Eat that." "Thank you." She took a few steps toward the wall and sat. She flipped the top open and nibbled on the assorted dried fruits within. It was clear by her muted expression that she found no favor with the meal, but she ate it quietly. She sat near his desk for a while then stood and looked over to him. "Is there something I can do? Could I learn your language?" Drake huffed. "Or not," she muttered softly. That was a fair bit of information. She was never taught sorcery. He certainly wasn't about to help her along. He scooped her into his arms before she could walk away and sat her on his desk. "You will find yourself busy soon enough. I will have guests. Stay near me." She leaned forward and kissed his cheek. Stunned, Drake only stared at her. She kissed him again, each kiss moved closer to his lips until she coaxed his lips apart. Drake took her by the shoulders and held her back. He felt the scowl on his face. "What are you doing that for? I've agreed to keep you." Her eyes went wide and watered. "I apologize. I assumed you found me attractive. I thought ... I'm sorry. I won't do that again." Perhaps this was a sign of human craftiness. "Are you claiming an attraction to me?" She smiled and her shoulders bounced with a slight shrug. "You smell good. Your size and those horns and your eyes are a little weird, yeah, so maybe fear is fueling my behavior. Plus..." the word trailed and she tried to slink away, but he held her steady. "Plus?" She swallowed and sighed heavily. "Before I was brought here, I was a virgin until recently. I told you I was used to confinement. I was kept like this, away from the world. I didn't even know there was such a thing as wraith born or that I was one. Then I met someone who, well, the wraith born and wraith touched, they taught me a lot of things, but not enough, I guess. That was only a few months ago. I'm not ready to be a girl again. I enjoyed feeling like a woman, and I want to enjoy myself. They told me it wasn't wrong to feel this way. I enjoyed when you touched me. I know I'm just a thing you're keeping around for fun, and I have no place to say I want anything." She palmed her wet cheeks. Her tears were silent ones and each time she blinked more drops fell. "I'll do what you want, or what you don't want. I hope you do want me. Have I offended you? I don't know your culture. Please forgive me." Just after the awakening of womanhood? Most wraiths fuck like rabbits their first two years in their early teens only to be tempered by the responsibility of their brood. Months? No wonder she was constantly smelling of sex and arousal. "I smell good to you?" She nodded. "I liked it immediately. It's," she licked her lips, "spicy, thick." He pulled her toward him and returned the kiss. His cock swelled at the idea of playing with this innocent, yet older wraith. He'd break a younger one for sure. The smell of her arousal intensified and Drake found he didn't mind her scent either. "You are in heat. Wraiths are highly sexual creatures, and in their first years, crave sexual release just as they crave food and water and rest. Seems human wraiths are not so different." "Do you find me attractive?" She bit down on her lips and wrung her hands. He cradled her in his lap. "Stay here. Do not attempt to speak to anyone who enters." "Yes, High Lord." Cunning creatures indeed. *** The gathering in his home had a few more faces than he anticipated. News of his decision to claim a toy traveled quickly. She didn't tremble in fear, mostly because she made the decision not to look. She kept to his lap and Drake was in no hurry to dislodge her. She purposely positioned herself to straddle him, she put his cock between her thighs, her warm center right on his flesh. She didn't move too much once she had him situated, just hugged him and kept quiet. Occasionally, Drake would reach down, grab her ass and slide his cock back and forth a few times between her slick, swollen lips. She'd give a little shudder of her body, fill the room with the smell of her sex, but otherwise said and did nothing. This little thing was quickly driving him to distraction. By the time his company left, he was in a fog he hadn't felt since he was a boy. He grabbed her hips and moved her up and down along his shaft in smooth, deliberate motions. Like a fire fed fresh fuel, she warmed and bloomed. He stood and carried her to the bed and put his cock along her slit. Back and forth, along the outside. She moaned and whimpered and trembled, squeezing her thighs. She angled her hips back and the head of his cock met her entrance. Oh, she was tight. Very tight, but not impossible. "For at least a year or two after a wraith experiences the sexual exchange of power, they are willing to fuck nearly anything and everything with a pulse. That's how you happen: hypersexual, powerful half breeds. Sometimes, the seed takes over, and you end up with trouble. Most babies are sent back to us, to live in a world that understands their needs." He groaned as she squeezed around the head of his cock. "Be still now," he cautioned as his mouth neared her throat. He pulled the head of his dick out of her. She may not have the restraint of long life, but he did. He could take take all night with his new toy. *** Liana saw red. Her heart wouldn't stop pounding. He lay on his back and set her down on his face. His breath felt warm on her wet labia. The tongue that touched her was tentative, testing. It felt wonderful, but she was afraid to say so, afraid of what he planned next. He might turn violent. Hadn't he warned her to be still? Her feral moan caught her by surprise. For an attempt that felt initially reluctant, that fat tongue was certainly warming up to her. "Fuck yes," she whispered as her hips shuddered. His tongue dipped inside her, circled her clitoris and then back into her pussy. Pour the energy onto him. She did it before she could consider the consequences. If it made a human like Blake pass out, a wraith born lose his mind, what about a high lord? The tongue lapping at her became more enthusiastic and she was coming hard on his face. Her ejaculate filled his mouth, and her hips couldn't stop fucking his face for long after. She came a second and a third time, his mouth never flagging or slowing in its pace. When she was finally too sensitive she braced on her hands and knees and pulled away, but didn't go anywhere, her pussy was still over his face. She just rested over him, shuddering and groaning. Could she take him inside her? Not unless he took his time. She could do it. He wasn't that big, maybe a bit longer and thicker than Trevor. She edged her way down to his hips and got as much as she could inside her while he was still soft. Liana bit down on her hand as he quickly stretched her. She didn't have to move, every slight adjustment was maddening. She put her hands on his shoulders and pulled herself up and then back down. She'd done this before, but it wasn't nearly this painful. Painful, but so decadent. Liana had kept her eyes closed the whole time, but he finally opened them at looked him. Not Human. Not even close. "Take your time." Connect. The advice came like an old memory, lessons she never thought to memorize in detail, but she paid them attention now. She leaned down and kissed his chest, pushed the energy through her lips, her finger tips. "Do you know what you're doing?" His voice was low, husky. "Making this interesting for you?" He laughed. "Push harder, woman." She knew he didn't mean her hips. She tried to gather more of her energy, and did put that in her hips, pushed down as she lowered onto his cock. "Yes," he moaned. He pulled out and then when he pushed into her she turned dizzy. Her vision turned a pinkish white. But she locked her elbows to keep her body upright. "You want to fuck the High Lord of Hedra, half wraith? Come on then. Don't give up." Give back everything and a little more. Another whispered lesson about energy exchange, especially when faced with the temptation to keep some of it, as Liana pushed onto him she discovered exactly what that meant, the brief spike in power was euphoric, but she dumped it all and then some. He grinned and wrapped his arms around her. "Smart little thing." The fight ended there and it became a steady rocking of energy between them. The euphoria pulsed like a heart beat with each stroke of his cock. She nearly blacked out when her orgasm finally hit. She was sure she'd screamed; her throat felt raw. He had a vice grip on her hips as he emptied into her. She'd have hand shaped bruises tomorrow for certain. "I take it you like that?" Drake cradled her to his chest. "Yes," she grinned bashfully into his shoulder. Why did she have to be such a slut? Was nothing off limits? She may have started trying to save her life, but once he got going, she forget all about that and lost herself in the sensation. "As did I. Your persistence paid off." She chuckled against his chest. Goodness, now what. The weight of her actions sank in as she lay on his warm chest. She looked out the window and saw the true color of night, near total darkness, even the distant fires seemed swallowed by darkness. "That's not the darkness, just the shades." "What are those?" "Not something you want to meet." She shifted and felt him, still erect. "Wow, you're still hard." "Give yourself some time. I'll be ready." She was about to protest that after riding something that big she'd be in no shape for a second round, but she reached between her legs, rubbed her labia. She wasn't as sore, only a bit tender. He gripped each of her wrists and pulled her down and whispered. "Were you taught about us, little wraith?" Liana exclaimed mentally as he thrust into her. She repeated the curse as he pressed inside, stretched and filled her, and she was only too eager to have him. She moaned as he rolled them until he was on top of her. She went from screaming in her mind to screaming out loud. The sheer intensity of his energy drove her closer and to another orgasm. "Yes, please, yes." Her thrusts met his own. It no longer mattered how wanton, slutty, whorish, debasing, or evil her actions and needs were. She found pleasure in the sound of their bodies smacking together, felt the electric tingle in the top of her skull. She didn't have enough air in her lungs for the scream it would have taken to adequately express the euphoria rushing through her body, but he had enough air in his. She made no sound at all while he roared. He spilled into her, hot and warm and copious. This was going to kill her. She couldn't get any ... enough oxygen. Her body just kept straining and writhing and twisting. A field of white in the darkness occluded her vision, but she never faded. She opened her eyes as a cool liquid poured down her throat. Eventually her eyes opened. She knew the expression on his face, the face of satisfaction, recognizable even across planes of existence. He set the glass aside and curled around her. It was like being cuddled by a furnace. They fell asleep on his bed together, covered in sweat. *** "High lord?" Drake looked down from his desk to the imp waiting anxiously. "Yes?" "I have an urgent report from the Hedra border." After a slight nod from him the imp reported on the unusual acts of violence. Wraiths were disappearing for days only to resurface with clear evidence of torture. "Why are you the one to report this?" The imp cast a glance to his pet. He'd taught her to read and speak his language after all, and she was using the skill to sort his work and do many of the classifications he'd been putting off. "They are being asked for information about a Karja called Liana. Given the path of the bodies, I do believe they are providing actionable information." "Let him come if he dares." The imp looked even more anxious. Drake waved to him. "I have been sent to speak to you on Zurio's behalf." It wasn't so much the imp's words as Liana's reaction. She looked up, her eyes wide, her breath held. "I know that name," she whispered. "Zurio sends word that she has his protection." Drake snorted. "You know that name, had his protection and never called for it?" He folded his arms over his chest. "I forgot. I mean ... someone told me about him when I was a little girl. At the time I thought he was just telling me stories. I forgot his name. What does that even mean, calling for protection?" "It means not being dragged into the netherworld as an orphan or a slave." "Oh." She hugged her knees to her chest and rested her chin. "I didn't know." Oh, indeed. "Who is responsible for these murders?" "He is also under Zurio's protection. He has told me that there will be no more deaths. He wants to offer a trade for the girl's release." "She's not mine to release, merely on loan from Jeshu." He saw her tense out the corner of his eye. Drake would have slain the man to keep her, but Zurio was a different matter. He had the backing of the wraith touched and born. His following was enviable and his tributes were often and plentiful. "High lord," she whispered. Drake looked at her, but did not move his head. Under his desk, his fist tightened. "I am here with you of my own will. Jeshu is the one who has no claim to me. I propose that when you grow tired of me, instead of sending me to Jeshu, turn me over to this Zurio person. Whoever..." Her eyes misted over and her breath hitched. "Tell him to stop, that I'm not being mistreated." Drake grunted and pulled a sheet of blank parchment over. "I will send Zurio the message." Liana returned her sorting. Her back remained to him. He could smelled the brine of her tears, but she was silent. He finished the letter, read it over, then pulled out another blank sheet and began again. "Bring me the Reek oil." She jumped down from his desk and climbed stool to reach the oil. She carried it over to him and offered it out on her hand. He pointed to the upturned pin-point on his desk, like an upside down, extra long tack. "Dip your finger into the oil, then prick it on the point, seal the letter." She followed his instructions tears streaming down her cheek. She drug her black bleeding finger along the seam of the rolled letter as she'd seen him do hundreds of times so far. "Well done," he whispered. He handed the scroll out to the imp. "Dismissed." The imp hurried away as fast as his feet could carry him. They returned to their work. She made no attempt to clear her face of tears or hide her sadness. *** The letter Drake wrote to Zurio for Trevor stated that she had been taken to the underworld against her will, but through an accident, she ended up in his care. She entered into an agreement to remain with him until he decided to release her. When he made that decision, she would be delivered to Zurio for passage back into her world. In the meantime, in deference to her status, he would use that time to educate her about her blood. She was not being harmed. She served as attendant to the high lord of Hedra. "This experience alone may make her too dangerous to return." "Is she safe?" Trevor asked as he lowered the letter. "As safe as one can be in Hedra. The high lord is in his prime, there are few foolish enough to challenge his reign." "What do you mean by dangerous?" Zurio grinned. "Oh, I think you know very well. Sometimes I doubt my judgement in allowing you across. He was quite lenient, not seeking penance for your crimes." "I'd like to give it anyway, as a show of respect." Zurio nodded. "It is that constant show of wisdom that grants you passage. You know she will be nothing like the woman who was taken from you when she returns?" "She deserves a life in the sun. I will await her return." *** The penance that Zurio offered was a large creature that was enough of a feast for a banquet hall. It provided the eater with a boon to their vitality. Drake had it prepared and he and Liana filled themselves to bursting with the succulent, savory meat. He grinned while she moaned and rolled around on the floor. "So good," she moaned. "Never tasted anything so delicious." "It's a delicacy, but a massive one. You feel tempted to try and eat it all at once." "I do," she groaned. "Then do, there's plenty. It will keep for several days." She grabbed another string of meat and lowered it into her mouth. "Who gave you this?" "Trevor gave you that." Drake answered. She choked on the food in her mouth and sat up. "Zurio delivered it, but it was at Trevor's request. I have little use for the meal, but it will serve you well. It's, how do you say, like a beneficial drug to wraith-humans. Delicious, regardless, but best for your strength." "Thank you." She crawled over to him and kissed him. "What for?" "For telling me the truth," she kissed him again, straddled him and hugged him. "And thank you." She grinned, "What for?" "You could have turned insolent, bratty, cold, annoying ... sped my decision to be rid of you, but you only make me want to keep you longer." She leaned on his shoulder. "Trevor and Blake were the first men I was with, ever, together, at the same time from the start. I miss being apart from them, but anything could happen to me and I want to enjoy what I have. Right now, I have you, or you have me." She leaned back and picked up another mouthful of meat. "Plus, we've been having fun, yeah? I mean, I'm learning so much about this place, and all these, your subjects." "You have actually brought civility to my chambers." "Why is that?" "It seems the local gossip is that appeasing me will get them an invite to sample the wraith-human who shares a bed with the high lord." "Any good choices?" She rolled her head back and closed her eyes as she chewed. "None." She blushed and reached down to readjust him as he stiffened. "Too bad for them." "Yes. Too bad for them. You want to finish eating or do you want to fuck?" The look in her eye predicted her words. He was grinning before she said, "Why can't I do both?" "Do both." He pulled the bowl closer and fed her. *** Time passed by much slower in the 'land of the sun' as it was called in the netherworld. Drake didn't grow tired of her, just sympathetic to her chances of returning. She had spent several years with him and though she'd passed the time of her initial sexual fever, her appetite for carnal pleasure only grew. "We will be there shortly. I'll be honest, given how much you've learned, he may not let you cross over." "Because I'll be a better sorcerer?" He chuckles. "If you decide to go on a murderous rampage, Liana, send some tribute my way." She grinned and rested on his shoulder. "I'll never forget you. Can someone only have one patron?" "No." She smiled. "Will you be mine?" He carried her on his hip as he walked. The dangers of the underworld parted to allow him passage. "Hedra will be happy to have you back should you decide you detest the land of the sun. Make the sign of my name, and I rip open the nearest gate to reach you." *** Zurio granted her passage with a strict warning to temper herself and seek counsel before acting on her knowledge, especially ever making the extreme move of attempting to summon Drake. "Did Xavier tell you about me?" "Yes, he did. He speaks of you often." "Is he well?" "Quite. Do you have a message for him?" "Tell him thank you." She grinned. "He saved my life." "Now, go along. You'll wake. Give yourself time to adjust. You'll feel very cold after your time in Hedra." Zurio pointed to a bench. "Lie down. I will cross you over into Trevor's care." *** She wasn't cold, she was freezing. She was freezing and she couldn't move to shiver. She couldn't open her eyes, talk, scream. It was death except she was breathing and her heart was beating. Give it time. Okay then. A long time later she acclimated to the cooler weather, felt other sources of heat. "Fuck," she whispered. She tried to move, but couldn't, she was restrained. She opened her eyes and looked at the long, brunette locks in her face. "Trevor," she called. "You want to get up?" "Yes." "You'd just make a fool of yourself. You're still too cold." She turned to see Blake sleep behind her. "What happened?" "You tell me, assistant to the high lord." Liana groaned. "It was that or go to the tar pits where I was supposed to end up." Trevor bolted upright in bed, startling Blake awake. He took a glance at Blake and didn't say anything about the pits. "She up?" "Yes." "Are you okay?" Blake asked. "It's cold in here." "You'll adjust," said Trevor. m "How long was I gone?" "Ten long, torturous months." "Wow," she sighed. "That's all?" "Yeah, time is different there. That's the only thing that made this agreement doable." "I hope you two still like me." She pulled Trevor back down, held him tight. Two sounds of laughter, one from her rear and the other in front. <-> Written: Feb 2013 Contact: nysidra at hot mail dot co
