Into the Shadows: The Coming Dark (c) Chapter Twelve By Fiction Writer #13 (paranormal, teen, m/f, Mdom, reluct) The large clock on the wall hadn't seemed to move much. Even though he'd been watching the second hand swing around and around, the minute hand barely moved at all. Eighth period History dragged on and on and on. The last three periods had gone just as slowly. Tommy stared blankly at the clock, unaware of the lessons being taught around him. He leaned on his left hand, elbow on the desk for support. His textbook was open but not on the correct page. He hadn't turned a single page since he first sat down. All he wanted was for the day to end, for the damned clock to point to two-thirty, for the bell to ring and set him free. As the rest of the class worked quietly on their assignment, Tommy had other things on his mind. His right hand was buried deep in the pocket of his jeans, fingers toying with the simple black cross he had found in the library. He wasn't even aware he'd been doing so, had been doing so since its discovery. Had he realized what he was doing, how it looked to the others in his class, he would have pulled his hand free. He would have been mortified by those curious glances, the whispers and the soft giggles. To them it looked like he was playing with himself, right there, in the middle of class. A year ago Tommy had stopped wearing sweat pants to school. After several days of unwanted erections suddenly tenting his sweats, he decided that comfort wasn't worth the embarrassment of having to walk around holding his books like a shield over his crotch. Still he waited for the bell. The feel of smooth stone between his thumb and forefinger oddly comforted him as he rubbed it in small circles. So much had happened in so short a time that he had barely processed it all. Everything was turned upside down and inside out. Demons, monsters, magic... surprisingly, those were the easiest to deal with. Some remnants of long ago forgotten beliefs in such things still lingered in his teenage brain, tucked away behind the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and Santa. No, what he couldn't wrap his mind around was how his family was changing, how he was changing. It was one thing to get off on thinking about fucking Debbie Ferguson, quite another to be jerked off by your own little sister. Add to that the fact that he had fingered her as well, in front of his parents! Now that was some fucked up shit. What really twisted him up inside was what had happened after he'd run upstairs. 'Did my parents really have sex with Bethany?' he wondered. 'And why am I upset that I didn't stay?' Brrrrrrrriiiiiinnnnggg! The final bell shocked him even though he had been counting down the last few seconds in his head. Instantly the classroom filled with noise. Chairs slid over the tile floor, conversations halted at the beginning of class resumed, and Ms. Brophy tried in vain to shout over the din, "Don't forget tonight's assignment! Read chapters ten and eleven, and answer the questions at the end of each!" The retreating class sighed in unison, their hopes of a night without homework dashed. Despite having waited for this very moment for the past three hours, Tommy was still slow to get up out of his seat. As the majority of his classmates pushed their way out into the hall, Ms. Brophy motioned with her hand for Tommy to remain behind. "Tommy, I need a word with you before you go." 'Damn it,' Tom grumbled to himself as he slung his book laden backpack over one shoulder. It was so heavy its momentum nearly carried him to the floor, but he recovered quickly. When the last student left she closed the door, effectively silencing the tidal wave of teens now roaming the hallways. "This won't take long," she said as she sat behind the massive gray aluminum and steel desk. "I wanted to talk to you in private for a minute." Tommy took a seat on the closest student desktop. His bag slid off his shoulder, but he managed to catch it before it hit the floor. He wanted out of here, every second tugged at him. "I know I wasn't paying attention, sorry. I have a lot going on and..." "I noticed," she gently cut him off, "but why I wanted to talk to you wasn't about your not paying attention. It's about what you were doing to yourself..." She let her sentence hang in the air, waiting for him to fess up, but all he did was shoot her a confused look. "Doing to myself?" "Yes Tommy." She looked a bit embarrassed. "You know, what you did... under the desk... all through my class?" Again Tom had no idea what she was talking about. Ms. Brophy began to blush. "Don't make me say it, Tommy. You know what you were doing, and I don't appreciate you doing that here. It was a distraction to me and to some of the other students as well. The only reason I didn't ask you to stop was because I thought it would make the situation worse, and I didn't want to embarrass you further." "Ms. Brophy I..." Tom shook his head. "I really have no clue what you're talking about." "Really now, Tommy!" She was starting to get annoyed. "I'm trying to do you a favor by speaking to you about this in private, but if you insist on denying that you were masturbating..." her face blushed crimson at that word, "... well, then maybe I should just send you to the Principal's office." "What? No! Wait!" Tom nearly fell backwards off the desk. "Masturbating? What are you talking about? I wasn't..." "Tommy, stop this! I saw you. Some of the other kids did too!" She waited for him to fess up, but he just sat there with his jaw hanging open. "Really, I... I didn't... I..." he stuttered and fumbled. "Are you trying to tell me that you weren't doing that in my class?" She sounded angry now. "That from the moment you sat down until the moment the bell rang, you didn't have your hand buried in your pocket fondling yourself?" For a second Tom sat there in shock, but then he remembered the little cross he had been touching. 'Did that look like I was whacking off?' he wondered. 'Is that what this is all about?' Instinctively he reached into his pocket to pull out the cross and show it to Ms. Brophy, to explain that he hadn't been playing with himself at all. The instant his fingers touched that cold stone his plan crumbled to pieces. 'What if I show her and she takes it away?' He couldn't let that happen, no matter what. He pulled his still empty hand out of his jeans and hung his head in shame. With his eyes fixed on his sneakers, he gave in and confessed to a crime he hadn't committed. "I'm... I'm sorry. I didn't even realize I'd been doing it until the bell rang." Ms. Brophy offered him a weak smile. "See, now that wasn't so hard now, was it?" Her tone had completely changed, now she sounded less like an angry teacher and more like a concerned mother. "I'm not mad at you, Tommy. What you were doing was perfectly normal for a boy your age, but it should be something that you do in private, not in a room full of people." "I know... I... I didn't mean to..." he stumbled, and his face burned red. "I... guess I just... haven't been sleeping well... and I, uh... I guess it just kind of happened... and... uh... like I, uh, said... I didn't even know what I was doing until the bell rang." "Tommy, I heard some rumors earlier today about what happened yesterday at the hockey rink." Tom looked up to see genuine concern in her eyes "Do you want to talk about it?" Tom shook his head. "I'd rather not... but... you know that some of those rumors aren't true, right?" Ms. Brophy chuckled. "Of course I don't, Tommy. I sincerely doubt that my top student keeps human skulls in his bedroom closet and worships the devil naked under the full moon." Tom smiled softly, "Hadn't heard that one yet." "Well, that's because you don't have to try and teach a bunch of teenage girls who would much rather gossip than pay attention in class." She stood and moved around her desk to put a hand on his shoulder. "I used to be young, too. Part of growing up is learning when to listen to what other people are saying about you and when to ignore it. Most times, it will just go away all on its own. MTV has given everyone an extremely short attention span, and as soon as something new comes up, they'll forget all about you." Tom felt comforted by her. "Thanks for understanding, and not... um... pointing out what I was doing to rest of the class." Ms. Brophy leaned in and gave him a motherly kiss on the forehead. "Just don't do it again, okay? It's hard enough keeping everyone's attention without you putting on a display of exhibitionism." She ruffled his hair before moving back to her seat. "My offer to talk is always open, if you ever want to." "Thank you," Tom smiled. "Can I?" He motioned with his head towards the door. "Sure," she nodded, and pulled open her desk drawer. "Don't forget the homework assignment, and get some sleep tonight. Tomorrow's another day!" ------------------------------------------------------------ "Mr. Johnson?" The stern voice pulled Steven from the pile of paperwork in front of him. Standing in the doorway of his cubicle was a man dressed in a black suit. His light brown hair was buzz cut short, his face etched with strongly defined features; square jaw, narrow nose, and sharp eyebrows. If he had removed his dark sunglasses Steve was sure he would find his eyes focused far beyond him. Ex-military, Steve was sure of it. He put down the file he had been shuffling through. "Can I help you?" "Your presence is required upstairs, immediately," the man grumbled. "You're with security?" Steve asked, and his query was confirmed by the slightest of nods. "I am to escort you." The man took a step out into the aisle. "If you would, please, this is a pressing matter." The man was being polite but Steve knew it was just for show. If he resisted or ignored him, Steve was sure that this guy would have him on the ground and bleeding in a heart beat. "Uh... yeah sure." The two men moved through the office at a steady pace set by the security guard. They left a wake of curious onlookers in their path. Steve could feel their eyes boring into him, burning holes into his back. They knew a dead man walking when they saw one. They knew it was only a matter of time before the big man upstairs brought the axe head down on the little man who dared to stand up to his nephew. When the elevator doors closed behind them, Steve sighed. 'Well, this job was good while it lasted.' ------------------------------------------------------------ "I've been lookin' all over for you!" Justin exclaimed as he caught up to Tommy. "Where the hell have you been?" "Uh... Ms. Brophy wanted to talk to me after class." Tommy re- shouldered his heavy pack. "Why? What's up?" "Don't tell me you forgot?" Justin rolled his eyes. "I'm staying the night? We have to get that Science project done for tomorrow? Remember?" "Oh, shit!" Tom ran his free hand through his hair. "I forgot all about that." "Well, there's no backing out now. If we don't get it done tonight we're fucked." Justin and Tom began walking down the hall towards the school exit. "You did ask your parents, right?" "Yeah, but..." Tom shook his head. "There's been so much shit going on, I don't think that they remembered either." "Oh well," Justin answered, as if it didn't matter whether or not Tom's parents remembered or not. "I told my folks, and if I go home now they'll bitch about me not getting it done before tonight." "Listen, Jus, I don't think it's a good idea. My family is going through some shit right now and, well..." "Look, man," Justin interrupted, "you were the one who wanted to wait until the last minute. I wanted to do it over the weekend, but you didn't want to be distracted before your hockey game." Tom sighed. "Alright, alright. I'll deal with my parents when we get there. Do you have everything we need?" "Everything except for a high speed connection," Justin elbowed Tom. "Lucky bastard, we still only have dial up. If we had high speed, I'd never leave home. I'd be too busy downloading porn!" "Yeah, gay porn, you fag," said Tom, laughing as they passed out into the pouring rain. Justin answered by driving his shoulder into Tom's chest, almost knocking him into a large puddle. "You know you want me you tease!" Tom unslung his pack and swung it at his friend. "Piss off you homo!" "Oh! Fuck me harder, Justin!" Justin yelled in a high pitched voice. "Do it! Pound my hairy man ass!" A small group of students waiting for their rides home stared at them with disgusted looks on their faces. "What?" Justin called to them mockingly. "Never saw Brokeback Mountain? I can't help it if my friend can't resist my huge cock!" This time Tom's pack connected with Justin squarely in his chest, knocking the wind out of him and shutting him up. ------------------------------------------------------------ Steven stared blankly at the glowing red numerals over the elevator door as they changed to higher and higher numbers. Behind him, silent since escorting him from his desk, stood the imposing security guard. "Do you have a name?" Steve asked nervously, trying to break the uncomfortable silence. There was a long pause, "Christopher." "Well Chris..." Steve relaxed a little, "how fucked am I?" Another long pause, "My orders were only to escort you. I was not given details of the situation." The numbers continued to increase, passing fifty-five without stopping. Confused, Steven asked, "Aren't we going to Human Relations? They usually handle employee arbitration." 'And firings of disgruntled workers,' Steve thought solemnly. "My orders are to bring you up to the seventieth floor." 'Oh, shit!' Steve felt a cold chill go up his spine. 'Not good. Not good at all.' Up and up they went, each floor passed bringing new feelings of dread. The seventieth floor, the top, the office of the big man himself... Hollister Broddick. ------------------------------------------------------------ The rain fell in heavy, icy cold sheets. It soaked the two friends as they trudged from the school and through town. Every once in a while some asshole would drive too close to the curb and send a tidal wave of frigid gray water cascading over them. "JERK OFF!" Justin yelled at the retreating taillights of a blue pickup that had just doused him. "God damn mother fuckers; can't they see us walking in this shit?" "My books are all gonna get fucked up." Tommy shook his pack, trying to remove as much excess water as he could. "Screw your books!" Justin slicked his long hair back out of his eyes. "This fuckin' sucks ass, man. Why'd you have to move all the way out here?" "Not my idea," Tom grumbled, "I didn't even think about walking to school in shitty weather like this when we moved. I was just excited about having a pool in the summer." Justin smiled. "Oh yeah... forgot that you have a pool now. I can't wait to see your mom in a bikini." "Fuck off, Justin." Tom punched him in the arm, but his own thoughts had drifted to the image of his mother scantily clad, lounging by the pool, a deep brown tan glowing on her smooth skin. 'Tommy?' he heard her ask, 'would you mind putting lotion on my back?' The image in his mind was so clear that it frightened him. He quickly shook his head, trying to remove the incestuous thoughts. "Hey." Justin stopped and pointed into the window of a coffee shop. "Isn't that Debbie Ferguson in there?" Tommy snapped out of his daydream. "Where?" "In there." He continued to point. "Right there, dressed in the blue hoody, standing with her friends." Tom squinted into the rain and as they got closer she came into focus. "You got better eyes than me! Yeah, that's her." Even on this miserable day, the sight of Debbie brought a smile to Tommy's face. She was in the middle of a group of her friends, chatting and giggling. Her honey blonde hair hung in loose spiral curls down past her delicate shoulders. Her skin still retained the golden brown hue gained over a summer of sun worship. She had hazel eyes that seemed to change color depending on her moods. Today they sparkled despite the growing darkness outside. She fitted in perfectly with her clique of friends. Carrie Argento, the dark haired Italian goddess. Melanie Price, bombshell with her straight brunette hair and devastating smile. Amber Collins, ever the perfect picture of adolescent virginity, with her blonde hair, blue eyes, and alabaster skin. Diane Cho, with her almond shaped eyes accented by deep brown irises, lithe ballerina figure and a soft voice. Last but not least, Victoria Brant, her demeanor as sweet as caramel, which was also the color of her skin. Together the girls formed a clique that all the boys drooled over, and the other girls were jealous of. "Let's go in, I suddenly feel like a cup of coffee." Justin moved for the door but Tommy blocked him. "I don't think that's a good idea," Tom sighed. "She was at the game yesterday, she saw what I did." "So?" Justin pushed passed him, snickering. "Girls like her like bad boys. Besides, I'd never pass up an opportunity to see hot girls in wet clingy clothes." Justin threw open the door, causing the small bell to ring loudly; everyone inside, including Debbie, turned to see who had entered. "Hello ladies!" Justin smiled evilly at Tommy as he walked in. "My friend needs something hot and sweet, oh, hello Debbie!" Tom leaned close to Justin and growled, "You're an asshole." Justin growled back, "Yeah, but you'll thank me later." As they drew closer to the counter Tom nodded to Debbie, "Hey." She made a nasty face and turned away, and all her friends did the same. Hushed whispers soon filled the coffee shop, but were drowned out as the espresso maker hissed to life. "Come on man, lets just go," Tom hissed dejectedly to Justin. "She doesn't want to see me." "Alright, alright, what ever." Justin was digging in his pocket and pulled out some change, which he quickly counted. "Dude, you got a quarter?" "Um... yeah... I think so." Tom's fingers searched in his jeans pockets for the loose change that he knew was in there somewhere. He found the quarter, but he also brushed against the little cross. As his hand left his pocket with the coin a voice spoke in his head. Go to her... He handed the quarter over to Justin without looking at him. His eyes were fixed on the back of Debbie's head. "I'll be right back." Justin turned from the counter and watched his friend slowly making his way over to the gossiping group of girls. "It's about time you grew a pair," he whispered to himself before retrieving his now paid for cappuccino. "Gettin' sick of listening to you whine about her all the time." Justin's comments went unheard by Tom; he was too busy moving towards his goal. He was almost halfway there before Carrie noticed him coming. She gave him a hard stare, a warning stare, telling him not to come any closer, but he paid her no mind. With her not so subtle warning going unheeded, she quickly whispered to her other friends. Almost all of the girls turned to face Tom as he approached, all except for Debbie. Tom kept moving, his feet carrying forward like a man possessed. The girls glared at him, arms folded and angry expressions on each. Melanie and Diane moved to block his path. "She doesn't want to talk to you," Melanie barked. Tom pushed past them as if they weren't even there. The other girls didn't try to stop him now; something about the look in his eyes had them cowering away. Tom stopped just behind her, close enough to smell her sweet perfume. "Debbie, we need to talk." Debbie whirled around, her hair whipping outward before settling around her shoulders. "I have nothing to say to you, Tommy Johnson." Tommy gazed deeply into her eyes, as if he were looking somewhere deep inside of her. "That's fine, but I have something that I need to tell you." The sound of his voice frightened her. He sounded so grown up, so confident... not the shy, silent boy that she thought was cute, but someone else. His eyes burned into her, making her feel as if she weren't wearing any clothes. A sly smile played over his lips, as if he knew some dark secret about her. Unconsciously she took a small step backwards. "I... I don't care what you have to say. How could you, Tommy? How could you do that to those people?" "They got what they deserved." His smile grew, creeping her out even more as he moved to fill the space she had just vacated. "They tried to stop me, stop me from doing something that I wanted to... do." Debbie's blood ran cold as her thoughts raced. 'My God! He wants to rape me!' She took a big step backwards. "Get away from me, you psycho!" "Not until you give me what I want." He slowly moved closer to her, like a cat stalking a mouse. "You aren't afraid, are you?" Suddenly hands grasped Tommy's shoulders, trying in vain to pull him away from Debbie. "Get away from her you asshole!" It was Amber who spoke, but all of Deb's friends had at least one hand on him, tugging and struggling to remove him. Tom grinned at them, his white teeth gleaming. "Don't worry, girls, there's plenty of me to go around." His eyes turned back to Debbie who had retreated until her back was against the wall. "But first..." he violently shrugged them all off, "the two of us need to get something out of the way." Debbie trembled as Tom closed the gap, she had nowhere to run. "Fff... fuck you." "Maybe later," He crushed his body against her, pinning her to the wall. "Right now I just want a kiss. One kiss, then I'll go away." Debbie shuddered. He pressed into her, his crotch grinding into her pelvis, his hands flat against the wall behind her, his arms blocking any chance of escape. Two days ago, if this same boy had asked for a kiss, she would have given him one willingly, but today? Today was a different story. She had seen a side of Tommy Johnson during that hockey game that gave her nightmares; seen this boy from her class turn faces into gurgling fountains of blood with his bare hands. It sickened her, turned her stomach inside out and upside down. She never wanted to see him again. "You can do that, right?" he whispered. "Just a little kiss, that's all, and I'll be on my way." Now he was against her, trapping her, leaning over her shoulder, his hot breath beating against her neck, rubbing what could only be his hard prick into her groin. 'Just a kiss,' she tried to reason with herself, 'all he wants is just one little kiss, and then he'll go away.' "You... you promise. Just a kiss," she stuttered, "then you'll go?" "Cross my heart," he answered directly into her ear. "One... little... kissss..." Her heart was racing, thumping within her ribs with an intensity she had never known before. She was afraid, but it was an odd kind of fear, different than being frightened of the dark or of the boogey man. This was more like riding a roller coaster, just as you reach the top of the first hill and the cars ahead of you start to drop away from sight. "Okay. I'll... I'll kiss you." "I knew you would," he replied as his face moved to fill her line of sight. "You want this as much as I want you." She didn't get a chance to refute him. His lips crushed against her own, silencing any complaints other than her initial shock. "Hrrummphhh!" It all happened so fast, too fast for her to process, too fast to for her stop him if she had wanted to. His tongue penetrated her lips, forcing its way inside to wrestle with hers. That's how she chose to fight him at first. Her body had gone numb, weak all over, except for her pink tongue. A fierce battle waged inside of her mouth, both sides struggling for dominance, and she was losing. He pressed his body harder into her, flattening her breasts with his broad chest. She could feel his heart beating in time with her own, racing at the same pace. Her breathing became ragged and short, her nostrils flaring with the effort of sucking in fresh air. A heat began to rise up from within, a burning fire that brought a flush to her cheeks. She recognized the signs of what was happening to her body, and it horrified her. 'No, I can't! Not like this! Not in front of everyone!' The familiar fluttering sensations had started in her lower abdomen despite her pleas to her own body not to feel this way. Her arms found strength and she used them to club at Tommy's sides, trying to beat him off her. He was too quick and strong, his hands capturing her tiny wrists and pulling them up over her head, pinning them high on the wall behind her. There was no escape now; he had her where he wanted her. The strange thing was, she was finding herself enjoying the surrender, of losing control, giving up and letting him take what he so desperately wanted from her. She found herself moaning into his mouth, her tongue no longer fighting but dancing. Her hips rocked from side to side, his hardness grinding into her sex through denim and cotton. The fire grew to new heights. Give in... The voice spoke softly in her head. Let go... She couldn't tell if it was her own voice or Tommy speaking, but she didn't care. Be mine... Her body shook inside as the fluttering grew in time with the flames licking her flesh. Her right leg rose up, bent at the knee, and locked behind Tommy, holding him closer, forcing his cock to grind painfully against her pussy. Be mine... 'Yes,' she spoke in her mind. Be mine... 'Yes!' she called into the roaring pyre. Be mine... forever... 'YES!' Her body tingled with sensations, electricity heightening her pleasure. I can give you such pleasures you have never known... "Hmmmm," she whimpered into Tommy as her body twitched and jerked against him. All of your world's delights will be yours... "Hmmmmm!" Tears of frustration rolled down her cheeks. She was so close, so damn close. Give yourself to me... sacrifice your body to my will... and they will be yours for the taking... "Yes..." she mumbled into Tommy's mouth, causing her lips to vibrate against his teeth. Open yourself... Let me in... I am your one true God... Let me in... Open yourself... Say the word... Speak the key... Unlock the door that separates us... Join me... Join us... She could hold back no longer. A flood of pure bliss radiated out from her center and spread over her entire body. Her lips pulled free from Tommy as her head flung back and her unblinking eyes glazed over. Her mouth opened in a primal scream of pure ecstasy. "YEEESSSSSS!" Tommy stepped away, leaving her convulsing body to slowly slide down the wall until she lay in a crumpled heap on the floor. He turned away from her and met the stunned expressions etched on the faces of everyone else inside the coffee shop. Justin still stood at the counter, his cappuccino surrounded by a dozen or so empty packets of sugar, his mouth hanging open in shock. "Come on," said Tom softly to Justin, "we're done here." Without another word he made his way to the door and exited. Justin, still frozen in place, looked over to Debbie who was sobbing on the floor, babbling, "He... He left... Why did he leave? I would have given him everything! Why? Why did he leave me?" Her friends rushed to her side, helping her to stand on wobbly legs. Victoria looked to Justin, hoping for some answers, but all he did was shrug and shake his head before picking up his drink and leaving the shop. Debbie sobbed quietly as her friends wiped away her tears and hugged her tightly. "Forever... I'm yours forever..." Continued in Chapter Thirteen....
