Ayumi (c) Chapter Three By Fiction Writer #13 (rom, nosex, paranormal, mc, voy, exhib, teen, preteen) "Ayumi, huh... That's a pretty name." She smiled at my compliment, her almond shaped eyes sparkling. "Thank you Mast... er. Oops, sorry. Justin." She blushed and let out a small giggle after saying my name. "I have to check the phone now, so, um..." I thought for a moment, trying to find something to occupy her while I called my mom and dad. "You know what? My sister's room is upstairs, third door on the left. Why don't you go up there and see if she has any clothes that might fit you?" Ayumi scrunched up her face. "Euww... yuck." "What's yucky about that?" I asked. "No clothes, I don't like em." She shook her head from side to side. "Awe, come on... if someone comes in and sees you sitting there naked, they're gonna think I'm some kind of a pervert or something," I pleaded, but she just kept shaking her head. "No. No. No. No. No," she chanted. "Please?" I begged. "No! No clothes! I like being all nakey!" She stood up on the couch cushion and began jumping up and down. "No clothes! No clothes! No clothes!" "Stop that!" I yelled, but she didn't listen. "Come on! At least put on some underwear!" "Nakey! Nakey! Nakey!" She started spinning around, and at the peak of each bounce her hair lifted and fell softly about her face. It was during one of those little twirls that I noticed something very odd. "Hey! What happened to your chain?" Instantly she flopped down on her butt, giggling as she continued bouncing on the springy cushion. "Its right here, silly." She reached behind and pulled out the chain to show me. Something was up; I knew it hadn't been there just a second ago. I didn't press the issue though; maybe my eyes had been playing tricks on me. I had taken a pretty good beating not too long ago. Maybe I had a concussion or something. Thinking about my beating brought up some other thoughts. Why wasn't I still in pain? I should still feel like hell, but I didn't. Come to think of it, I never felt better. I looked down at my bloodied and torn shirt, my fucking favorite one, Black Sabbath's reunion tour, ruined. I lifted it expecting to see a number of cuts and bruises from the fight, but instead I found none. I couldn't even figure out where all the blood on my T-shirt had come from, as I didn't have a scratch on me. Confused by my miraculous healing, I looked up to find Ayumi now kneeling on the floor busy studying the television. Her back was to me and that's when I had another revelation. All of the red marks and welts that crisscrossed her bare flesh had disappeared! They were gone! No signs of any abuse whatsoever! Had I imagined the whole thing? Was I going nuts? "Ooooo! This is one of those picture boxes! Otho had one but wouldn't let me watch it." Her hands moved all over the blank screen and twisted the dials to and fro. "How do you get it to work?" "The power is out. It won't come on without it." She turned her head to face me with a little frown as her hands continued to twist and turn the big dial. After showing me a pouty face, she turned back to the useless box. "Ayumi," I called, trying to get her attention. "Yes Justin?" She continued to fiddle with the set. "Come here for a second." Sighing heavily at not being able to will the TV into operation, she slowly stood up and walked over to me with her hands behind her back. "What happened to all of those red marks that were on your skin?" She put her head down and stared at my feet. "Nothin." "Well, something happened to them. They were there when we were out front, and now they're gone." "I dunno." She began swiveling her hips slightly from side to side. "I think you do." She remained silent. "And I think you know why I'm not hurt anymore, either." She shook her head from side to side while still looking down at her feet. "Can I see your hands?" She brought them from behind her back and held them in front of me for my inspection. "Ayumi?" "Yes Justin." "Where is the chain?" Instantly her head whipped up and she stared at me wide-eyed and full of fear. "Oh no!" she squeaked. Her whole body seemed to be trembling in terror, her unblinking eyes never leaving my own as they welled up and began to spill down her cheeks. I knelt down in front of her so that we were at eye level with each other. She was sobbing hard, her eyes quickly becoming puffy and red. I reached out and put my hand on her shoulder. "Ayumi, you need to tell me what's going on." "I'm... so... sorry," she spoke between sobs. "I... didn't... mean... to... trick... you." Trick me? This little girl must have been some kind of magician or hypnotist to make me see and feel things that weren't there! What the fuck, man? "I... didn't... wanna... make... you... mad." Her sobbing got worse, and she began to break down into howls of apology. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I'm sorry!" She was crying so hard that her legs started to give out. Luckily I was close enough to catch her in my arms before she fell. She collapsed onto my chest, her head buried on my neck, and I held her as she continued crying. She felt so warm and soft as I held her, hugged her to me. Her honey-suckle perfume filled my senses once again. "Shhh... shhhh... I'm not mad. I just want to know what's going on. That's all." Her sobbing began to slow as she clung to me, her tears soaking through my ruined shirt once again. Her honey-suckle perfume seemed stronger. I found myself slipping back to those happy memories of a summer not so long ago, today's worries dissolving away with each inhalation. A few minutes passed before my mind caught on to what was happening. That perfume of hers, it was all just a little too perfect. That scent bringing up the one memory that could muddle my thoughts and put me in a forgiving mood. "Ayumi..." Her name came out as barely a whisper from my lips, but just saying it brought me further out of my daze. "Ayumi... stop! Stop whatever it is you're doing." "I'm not doin' nothin'," she breathed on my neck, sending shivers up and down my spine. "Yes... Yes, you are." It was getting easier to resist. "Now, stop it. Stop it!" Still she clung to me, her warm body easing me into a relaxed state though my mind was racing to break free of her spell. "Ayumi... stop it... no more." I fought the urge to hug her tighter against me, to feel her silky skin under my hands, to smell her fragrance. "STOP!" With all my strength, both mental and physical, I shoved her away. She fell backwards, and with a thud, landed on her bottom. She looked up at me with a confused and hurt expression, her head tilting to one side like a dog does when they hear something unusual. Her tears were gone, but her brown eyes still glistened. "Hey!" she complained. "Why'd you push me down?" "Because you were doing something to my head, that's why." I closed my eyes and shook my head, trying to clear my thoughts, but they were still swimming a bit. "No I wasn't." she huffed. "Yes... you... were." I opened my eyes as I started to feel better. She remained on the floor where she had fallen. Her legs were spread and her knees bent, arms out to her sides and hands firmly planted on the carpet for support. I couldn't help myself, my gaze went between her open thighs, and I found myself staring at her bald vagina, the first I had ever seen in real life. It looked almost like a closed clamshell, only made of flawless golden skin. As I stared it opened slightly, the vertical slit parting to reveal just a peek of the hot pink hiding underneath. The sight of her exposed before my eyes had an immediate reaction on me. I suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe, and my heart began racing a mile a minute. I felt like I was running a fever, and sweat beaded on my forehead. A familiar stirring in my pants began as my cock quickly filled with blood, rising, though trapped within my boxer shorts. Her thighs parted further, opening that clamshell even more for my hungry eyes. The pink beneath, glistening with a liquid sheen, made my mouth water and my balls ache. More flesh appeared, now looking more like the petals of a flower than a bivalve sea creature. Near the top of her flower rested a tiny red pearl, below that her petals spread further apart revealing the small opening into her depths. Suddenly I became aware of what I was doing and my eyes snapped up to meet Ayumi's. She had a devilish grin on her face. My own face burned with embarrassment at being caught staring at her sex. "See somethin' you like?" she asked haughtily as she lewdly spread her knees even further apart. "Yes... um... no, I mean..." I stuttered. "Knock it off!" My face burned with shame as I turned away from her. I couldn't believe what I had just done. A little girl! I had just popped a boner looking at a naked little girl. What the hell was wrong me? Fuck... what the hell was wrong with her? She just sat there and let me look, let me stare at her privates. Not only that, she had opened herself up even more! It was like she wanted me to see what should have been hidden between her legs. "You're not shy, are you?" she taunted from the floor. "No," I defended, but kept my eyes averted. "It's just... you shouldn't be showing me your privates like that." "Why not? It's mine, and you liked looking at it, so what's wrong? All my other masters liked to look at me. You like girls, don'cha?" "Yeah, I like girls! But you're like, seven years old? And I AM NOT your master! So knock that shit off, okay?" "Fine," she huffed, "but I'm not seven. I'm eight, you big jerk." "Jerk?" I turned back to face her. She was standing now and I was pissed off. "I risked my life to save you from that nut-ball biker dude! As a matter of fact I think he actually did kill me, but for some reason I came back to life just to make sure that you were okay! This is the thanks I get? You trick me into thinking you are hurt, that you have a dog leash around your neck, and then you drug me with something that makes my head go all stupid! What the fuck, Ayumi? Can you just tell me what the hell is going on, or do I have to call the cops and get rid of you before you do something else to me?" "No! Don't call the red lights on me!" Her face started to scrunch up like she was about to cry again. "Oh no, none of that crying shit. You got me with that twice, it won't work again." "Fine," she spat out with anger, her hands going to her slender hips in the universal sign of a woman who was angry. My sister had perfected that pose, relying on it every time she hadn't got her way. Seeing this little girl use it almost brought an amused smile to my face, despite the frustration I was feeling. "You're good! I thought my sister was good at manipulating guys, but you take the cake." Now I did smile. Sure it was a bit juvenile, but it's not very often that I win a battle like this. Even though she was only eight, she had almost pulled the wool over my eyes. This little girl was hiding something, and I needed to find out exactly what it was. "So, are you gonna tell me what's really going on, or do I have to call the cops?" "Grrrrr..." she literally growled at me! She bared her teeth and everything! "Fine! No more magic!" She stomped her foot, "But you have to promise not to call the red lights, and not to give me away to someone else. At least, not until I can find someone else that I'd like to stay with. Oh! And no getting mad at me, okay?" I didn't quite understand that middle part, but I wanted some answers, so I agreed. "Deal." I extended my hand for her to shake, but instead she gripped it and led me back to the couch where she hopped up and patted the cushion next to her. She released my hand and I took the seat offered. "So... what do you wanna know?" she asked. "Everything." She furrowed her brow at me. "Start with how you and Otho got together, and no lies or tricks." "Fine," She slumped back into the cushions of the couch with a heavy sigh. "I was sold to him by my previous master. Her name was Jin and she brought me to Otho after a long boat ride. She sold me to him at some place called Lost Angels." "Los Angeles?" "Yeah, that was it. Otho and his friends lived there. They said that they were part of a gang called the Midnight Riders. They were mean, and hurt me lots." Her face softened as she spoke of the biker gang, her eyes falling to her lap where her hands fidgeted. "So, um, why did he bring you all the way out here?" I asked, trying to move her story past those obviously painful memories. "They, uh, Otho, he said he was going to give me away as a present. He called me an offering. He told me that their master was coming soon, and they wanted to make sure he was happy, so they were going to give me to the people who were in charge. He said that I would be living with a family until the doorway could be opened. That I would be their toy until the master came to take me." "These people are in Highland?" "Is that what this place is called?" "Yeah," I waited as she nodded her answer and could tell she didn't really want to continue, but I had more questions, so many more questions. "Ayumi, why did you crash?" "He said he wanted one more... um... sex thing before he gave me up. He got distracted because of me; I had his thingy in my mouth, that's why he didn't see the other car until it was too late." Hell, I think I'd get a bit distracted if I had this girl sucking me off, too. Where the hell did that thought come from? This was some sick shit. Slavery, child abuse, kid sex, biker gangs; I wasn't sure if I even wanted to hear anymore, but at the same time, there was something about it that was turning me on. Maybe I'm just as fucked up as that Otho guy? "That Otho guy, I shot him in the head point blank and he didn't go down. Was he on drugs or something?" "Otho? Probly. He and his friends were always drinking and stuff, but that's not why he didn't die. He was a Mallenchior." "What's that?" "Mallenchiors are monsters." She shivered. "There's no such thing." "Yes there are," she nodded slowly. "His whole gang are Mallenchiors; Demons." "Come on, Demons? I'm sure they were all nuts, but there is no way that they are Demons. Demons are made up." Her hands continued to fidget about in her lap. "No, they're real. Really, really real. And bullets don't kill them, only magic, strong magic. That's why I thought you were a Wizard." "You've seen too many movies. Read one too many Harry Potter books." I put my hand on top of her own to still her frantic finger twisting. "Demons don't exist, and magic isn't real." "Yes they do exist! And... and... Now that Otho's dead his friends will come looking for me... and you 'cause you killed him." "Listen, if they come looking for us we'll go find help. But just for the record, I didn't kill Otho. I don't know what happened out there, but I didn't do nothin. He just kind of, I don't know... he just kinda melted." "Demons don't just melt," she mumbled. "Neither do bikers," I laughed weakly. The image of Otho melting away layer by layer would be something that would haunt me for the rest of my life. God, the smell of it as he oozed out of his clothing and washed away down the gutter; it turns my stomach just thinking of it. "So, if bullets didn't kill him, and since I'm definitely not a wizard, why did he dissolve like that?" "I don't know. Like I told you, only strong magic can kill a demon. Powerful spells, talismans, holy objects and things like that." "Holy objects?" "Yeah, things blessed by holy men; servants of another God." That's it! That's what killed him! I couldn't believe it, but nothing else had made any sense today, so why not! "I know what killed him." She turned to me with a look of wonder on her face. "What?" "The water in the street!" I exclaimed. She didn't get it; of course, she had no idea where that water had come from. "There's a church at the top of hill, they held a charity car wash last night. The water in the street is from that church!" A smile broke across her face. "Holy water!" This was insane! Demons! Holy water! My mind went racing as I tried to make sense of everything. She was telling the truth, apparently Demons did exist. There was no other explanation for it, I mean, well, besides toxic waste melting Otho, but I lay in that water too, and nothing happened to me. "I don't fucking believe it! Otho was a Demon!" "I told you!" she said rather smugly. "Alright, don't let it go to your head." I smiled and gave her hands a gentle squeeze. "So... Demons are real, huh?" "Yep." "That explains some things, but not everything that's happened today." The smile on her face faded away, and she turned from me to look down at her feet, which hung off the edge of the couch but did not touch the floor. "What happened to your cuts and scrapes, Ayumi?" "I... I can make the hurts go away." "How?" "I just can. Ever since I was little, I can make other people's hurts go away, too; like I did for you." She kept her eyes averted from me as she spoke. "If you could make your hurt go away, then why were you covered with bruises and welts when I first saw you?" "Otho, he said he liked the way the marks looked on my skin. He said it pleased him to see me in pain. He liked to hear me cry." "So, just because he liked to hurt you, you let him?" "No... I let him because he was my master." Her voice fell to a whisper, "Just like you are now." "I'm not your master, Ayumi. You're free now." She gently shook her head. "It's not that easy. I tricked you into taking my leash. Now you're my master until... until you give me away or die." "So... what happens if I die?" "Then I'll be free." "Wait a second, you're telling me that when Otho died?" I left the question hanging in the air. "Yup; I was free." "So, why in the hell did you trick me into becoming your master?" "I... I thought you... I thought you were nice. You tried to help me; no one has ever done that before." She finally turned and faced me. Her eyes were once again misted over with tears, though this time I was sure they were real. "I saw you, I saw you as your spirit floated away. You came back to help me. You came back to life to help me." She smiled as a single tear ran down her cheek. "When I saw Otho die, I was sure that you were a powerful wizard. I was scared that Otho's friends would hunt me down and kill me, so... so I tricked you into becoming my master so that you could protect me." "Listen, you didn't have to trick me, I would have helped you. I don't know about all this master stuff, but look, there isn't even a leash anymore. So, do you have to keep calling me master?" She pulled her hands from mine and held them up for me to see that they were empty. In the blink of an eye they suddenly weren't anymore. One hand held the black leather handle of her leash, the other held up the length of heavy steel chain that connected that handle to the collar still around her neck. "How did you do that?" I gasped in shock. "I'm sorry, Justin, but that's what you are now; My Master. The moment the leash fell into your hand, I belonged to you." "People don't belong to other people, Ayumi." I took the handle from her and began to inspect it, looking for signs of how she had made it appear out of thin air. "I... I'm, uh... ", she struggled with her words, "I'm not..." More tears fell from her now puffy eyes. "I'm..." I could see she was getting really upset, but not knowing exactly what to do I just sat there. I've never been good at dealing with people during emotional moments; usually I try to avoid situations like this. However, I could tell that something was really troubling her and she just couldn't find the words to tell me. I set the chain down and just did what I thought was the right thing to do. I put my arm around her. "Its okay, Ayumi, you can tell me." She shook her head but melted into my chest. "No... If I tell you... you won't like me anymore." "Of course I'll still like you!" She remained silent. "Ayumi, look at me." Her face tilted up to meet my gaze. "No matter what you have to say, I'll still..." I almost said 'love you' but stopped myself in time. Why did I almost say that? "like you." "Promise?" she asked. "Cross my heart." "I'm... I'm not like you." "Duh; you're a girl, you're younger than me, you're Asian, you're..." "No," she cut me off. "Not like that. I mean... um... I'm different." she slumped a bit and gave a small sigh. "I thought that I could hide it from you, cause I thought you wouldn't want me anymore, but I can't." "Ayumi just spit it out. I promised, remember?" "Okay." She gave me a tiny smile. "Just remember your promise." She took a deep, dramatic breath. "I'm... not human." Continued in Chapter Four....
