Stomp (No sex, Sci-fi) by KeithMcD Note: These are just stories, some of them with very taboo themes in them and NOT wishful thinking. I just want to tell stories and hope no one takes my tales as anything but sexual fantasies. I don't and never have practised, participated in or encouraged sex with children, rape, do drugs or murder people. I don't encourage anyone to do any of the things my characters do either. None of the people are real or based on any one real and bare no resemblance to any event past of present, though I sometimes use news stories as fuel for some of my tales. I hope you enjoy them and let me know what you think: Keith DOT mcdougall134 AT googlemail DOT com The large battle-suit plodded noisily through the streets, looking for targets. A movement in a shell building alerted its sensors, the body swivelled to the left following the indicator symbol on the screen. A loud burst of cannon fire erupted and shattered the stonework of the building, anything that once was there was definitely gone now. The turreted body swung back to it forward position and moved on, the slow mechanical plodding continuing unabated during the interception and destruction of the part of the building. The man in the battle-suit smiled, by the time he got back to base this place would be cleared of vermin. He liked that word, vermin, it easily described the enemy to his satisfaction. Since the world had split into the four factions; the Chinese, the West, the Muslims and the Africans, he had always believed he was on the right side. He was a soldier of the West and prided himself on his chosen life. The wars had raged on for over a decade now and the Africans showed no sign of surrendering to them or any body else. The Muslims had overrun the Arab regions and even sacked Turkey and Spain before their progress was halted. The Chinese had originally sided with the West, but now they closed their own borders of and no longer communicated with the outside. The African Nations had suddenly coalesced into a huge superstate led by the once racist South Africa. They pooled their power and their resources, recalling all their scientist and scholars. They placed such a stranglehold on the rest of the world that the US and Europe started feeling the pinch when trade slowed and people started starving. The US retaliated by sending troops into South Africa and causing the biggest war there for many years. All the other states sent in troops and wiped out the US forces in a shocking slaughter. The Americans responded with bombers and the Africans declared war, killing all and every American citizen in the huge continent. Very few expatriate whites survived that earlier slaughter and the blacks from abroad fared a very similar fate. The combination of African scientists had come up with some new air seeding technology the destroyed aircraft without a shot being fire. Since the West's forces could not fly the had to fight this war on the ground. The odds had become evened. The walker finally stopped at the end of the street and turned to find another route out of the city. He could suddenly see red lights shining from different spots in the deserted ruins. Did they think they could stop him with those peashooters? Then, as he prepared to fire at the seven points of light, searing heat coursed into him. The Battle-suit shuddered and fell. He screamed in agony as the thing broke up into bits and then melted. He died in a casing of molten metal. The ten Africa Corps stood together, just as they were taught not to. They surveyed the destruction of the mighty Western Walker. It had been one of those that had decimated their town, now it was no more that melted metal. Abu Gregory felt much satisfaction. He had lived for this day and now the tests were complete. They had weapons against their enemy now. Now they would push them all back to the sea. End?Stomp
