"No... I don't want to see Lindsay again," Trish fretted,
shaking her head as she lounged with Devon and yours truly
in our private suite. "I would have never come back to the
island in the first place if I knew that Lindsay was here,
too!" The 27-year-old turned toward me and went on, "You
told me on the telephone that Lindsay would not be here."
"I did... two months ago," was my response. "I invited
you back to the island a second time. If you said yes and
came back the same time Amy and Stephanie did, I would have
never invited Lindsay back. But if you said no - which you
did - I was going to invite Lindsay to return."
Trish pouted as I continued, "Believe me, dear... I don't
want the two of you together myself. I know that Lindsay
drives you crazy and it hurts you that both of you cannot be
together. And I know, because of that... you never want to
see her again. I remember everything that happened."
"It took me a long time but I finally got over Lindsay,"
Trish whined. "But now that we are together in the exact
same place again, instead of a thousand miles apart... all
those feelings are rushing back to me!"
"I think you'll be safe here in our room for awhile,"
Devon offered, placing her hand upon Trish's shoulder in a
reassuring manner. "Maybe you won't even have to see
Lindsay at all?" Devon turned toward me, her eyes glowing.
"I have an idea, Jeremy! Send Lindsay home!"
"What?" I countered, stunned.
"Send her home," Devon reiterated. "Just like last time.
Send her home early, but make it worth her while. Pay her.
That way, Trish can stay here and spend the rest of her
vacation in peace. I say send Lindsay home today."
"Devon, I am NOT sending Lindsay home," I said, which was
obviously a surprise to her. Devon was not used to me doing
something other than what she wanted. "That would not be
fair to do to Lindsay. Lindsay has done nothing wrong."
"But what about Trish?" Devon insisted.
I turned toward Trish and proclaimed, "I have nothing
against you or anything, but you came back here on your own.
You didn't even call and let us know beforehand. I have no
problem with that, because I did tell you and all the others
that you were welcome to return at anytime. But I am not
sending Lindsay home early. It wouldn't be fair to her."
"Why?" Devon screeched. "Pay her and make it fair."
"Lindsay likes being on the island," I responded. "Being
here right now is a lot better for her than being in Ohio,
which I read got eight inches of snow last night on the web.
I am not about to take Lindsay's vacation away from her."
"Trish can't avoid Lindsay for the next six weeks without
eventually meeting up with her," Devon whined.
"I don't know what to tell you then," were my words. "I
know that you have had your problems with Lindsay too, dear
Devon, but the fact remains that the girl has done nothing
wrong. I have no reason to send her home early."
"I finally got over Lindsay," Trish sighed, her tone of
voice seemingly lifeless. "I met a new girl and started
dating her. Stacy. I got over Lindsay because I thought I
would never have to see her again. I had no choice but to
move on in life. But now... now..." Trish held back her
tears as she added, "All those feelings are back. All I
ever wanted was to love Lindsay, and make her smile. I love
that girl more than anything in this whole, wide world!"
As Trish started crying, Devon embraced her with both
arms and shot me a menacing glare. "You have to send
Lindsay home, Jeremy! All she ever did was lead Trish on,
and then break her heart on purpose! How can you expect to
have endless amounts of sex with someone and then for that
person NOT to fall in love with you?"
Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black, I said to
myself. Devon and Lindsay had so many sexual encounters of
their own in recent times that the 20-year-old nymphette
was now in love with my wife. Yet Devon wanted me to send
her home. Of course, Devon did not know that Lindsay felt
this way about her. Not yet, anyway...
"I defended Lindsay in the past but no more," Devon went
on. "She broke Trish's heart on purpose."
"I'm not sending her home," I repeated, my arms folded.
Devon had shown an uncharacteristic amount of spitefulness
today. First it was the way she talked down to Amy no more
than 60 minutes ago, and now she was berating me. This was
not the warm-hearted and loving woman I had married.
"I saw nothing wrong with Trish falling in love with
Lindsay and then wanting to spend her life with her," Devon
stressed. "There were times when Lindsay begged Trish for
sex, no matter how many times they had gone at it that day.
Then, all of a sudden, Lindsay accuses Trish of over-pursuit.
That's bullshit, Jeremy." I did not like Devon speaking this
way to me. "Pure bullshit. What Lindsay did to Trish was so
terribly wrong. You have to send her home!"
"I don't know what we're gonna do, but in no way am I
sending Lindsay home," I reiterated. "It would not be fair
to cut her vacation short, no matter if I pay her or not."
Trish backed away from Devon's warm embrace and sighed in
exasperation. "I'll just go back home myself."
"But you just got here..." Devon whined, hugging Trish
once more. "Surely there is something that we can think of!
Remember how Jeremy, Kristanna and I tried to convince you
to stay with us after that incredible night all of us spent
in the Bahamas? I've missed you so much, Trish! I don't
want you to leave. There has to be something we can do..."
She turned toward me and demanded, "SEND LINDSAY HOME!"
Now, I was angry.
"I am NOT sending her home!" I snapped, as Devon took a
step back and looked at me with wide eyes. In the seven
months we had known one another, I don't ever remember
raising my voice this much at Devon. Until now. "Now that
is FINAL! I don't want to hear another word about it!"
"Okay... okay... I'm sorry," Devon countered, her voice
timid and weak as she looked at me. Suddenly, Devon let
Trish go and then threw her arms around me. She buried the
side of her face upon my chest and whined, "I'm sorry for
screaming at y-you. I-I love you, J-Jeremy..."
I wrapped my arms around her as well and offered a faint
smile in response. I took a deep breath and sighed, "I love
you too." Obviously, we were not accustomed to arguments.
"I really don't want to go back to Toronto," Trish said,
shaking her head. "But I don't want to see Lindsay, either!
I wanted to come here and enjoy the island..."
Devon continued to hold me for several seconds until
there was a gentle knock at the door to our private suite.
Instinctively, I called out, "Who is it?"
"Lindsay," answered a feminine, squealy voice.
Devon backed away from my arms and looked at me, her eyes
large and almost set to explode. At the same time, Trish
sighed and placed both hands upon her mouth in an obvious
mixture of mental anguish and fright. This wasn't good...
"Uhh... hold on a second..." I hollered.
"We have to hide you!" Devon told Trish in a whisper,
frantic. She glanced around our luxurious suite, but
there was really no hiding places. "How about the deck?"
"Lindsay will see Trish through the window," I frowned.
"How about the closet?"
"I'm not hiding in no closet!" Trish told Devon. "Isn't
there another way out of here? This suite is huge. Is that
the only door out of here? The front one?"
"Unfortunately, it is," I told her.
There was more knocking at the door. "Open up, Jeremy,"
Lindsay insisted. "I need to talk to you really bad."
"I know where we can hide..." Devon nodded.
As I looked on in shock, Devon went over to the side wall
and turned the wood carved tiki decoration, then punched in
a security code on the nearby access panel. "WHAT ARE YOU
DOING?" I exclaimed, trying to keep my voice low. As the
wall then opened - thus revealing the voyeur room - Devon
grabbed Trish by the wrist and yanked her inside.
"You don't want them to see each other, right?" Devon
asked me, turning another knob. "No one will ever find us
in here!" I wanted to offer up more words of protest, but
the wall closed rather quickly. Then, the thought hit me.
Trish was in my voyeur room.
"Open up, Jeremy!" Lindsay insisted, now pounding upon
the door. Angry once again, I flexed my shoulders and threw
a closed fist, but the only thing I hit was air. I quickly
composed myself and went over to the door as Lindsay pounded
on it. It was time to put on my happy, smiling face.
"What took you so long?" the little minx wondered, as she
slipped past me and walked right into the suite.
I glanced at the side wall before closing the door, then
turned to face her. "I was in the middle of something."
"Oh," Lindsay said, looking skeptical. "Oh well. Hope I
didn't interrupt anything too important." The very lithe,
sweet-as-silk angel strolled over to the big bed and plopped
herself down upon it. "I need to talk to you, Jeremy."
"Oh? What about?" Though I tried to stay focused on
Lindsay, I was wondering what was happening in the voyeur
room right now. Trish knew of my dirty, little secret. My
one vice in life. Would she tell all the others that I spy
on them in their most intimate moments with my cameras?
Gulping my throat, I glanced at the side wall once more
before taking a seat in a chair across from the bed. I was
on pins and needles, wondering what was going to happen from
now on. And what was so important that Lindsay wanted?
"Do you remember how, when I first came here, that all I
said I wanted was to bathe in the sun and have sex?" Lindsay
asked me. I nodded my head and she continued, "That was my
only agenda. The money is great and will help my family out
a lot, but I came back a second time for the climate and the
chance to have wild, endless sex." I KNEW that Devon and
Trish were watching us with the surveillance system right
now. Was Trish crying? "But something changed, Jeremy."
What changed? I momentarily forgot what Lindsay had been
talking about. Oh, right... the sun and endless sex.
"I fell in love with Devon," Lindsay told me. I had to
hold back a smile, because Devon heard those words the same
time I did. Of course, I already knew that Lindsay was in
love with her. But Devon was not aware of it until now.
Again, the pot called the kettle black.
"I also fell in love with you, Jeremy," Lindsay added,
her mouth twitching. Suddenly, I wondered if there was
something wrong with her. "It's hard for me to talk this
way because I've never felt like this about anyone before.
But somewhere along the way I fell in love with both of you."
I was also aware that Lindsay had feelings for me, thanks
in large part to my discussion with Britney from earlier.
On the other hand, Lindsay had caused me a great deal of pain
and anguish. Kristanna broke her hand and wrist in a jealous
rage, punching the wall, when she watched Devon have a heated
sexual encounter with Lindsay on the beach last week.
But at the same time, Lindsay did nothing wrong in having
sex with Devon that particular day. Devon, I would think,
was the one who probably instigated that encounter in the
first place. If not, Devon would have eventually, anyway.
"Is Devon mad at me, Jeremy?" Lindsay asked. "I mean...
for the past week, it seems, she has been avoiding me. No
it doesn't SEEM that way. She HAS been avoiding me. Devon
tells you everything... right, Jeremy? Is she mad at me?"
"Not that I know of," was my response. Devon was not MAD
at Lindsay, mind you. She just wanted to stay away from her
after what happened with Kristanna shattering her hand and
wrist, and needing surgery as a result. Devon still blamed
her lustful infatuation with Lindsay for everything that
happened to Kristanna, which was quite understandable. She
wanted to avoid Lindsay at all costs because the precocious
20-year-old was like an addictive sexual drug to her.
"I just don't understand why Devon doesn't want to be
with me anymore," Lindsay fretted, whining. "One day, we
were together and the next day, she didn't want anything to
do with me. It was the very same day Kristanna was in the
hospital. I thought maybe that was the reason at first, but
a full week has passed and Devon still avoids me. It hurts
me, Jeremy... I love Devon so much, and want to be with her."
"You sound a lot like Trish," I commented, which caused
Lindsay's eyes to widen. "Trish said the exact, same things
about you when she was here last year. She loved you, too."
Of course, Devon and Trish were still eavesdropping on us.
I wondered how Trish reacted to me mentioning her name...
"I could have fallen in love with Trish, I guess, but she
was way too aggressive with me," Lindsay countered after a
short delay. "She was talking about a life-long commitment
just days into our relationship. And when I told her I was
not looking for that yet, she wouldn't stop talking."
"I wanted to marry Devon from her second day here on," I
mused. "It would have been her first day, but she and the
others got here late and I spent that night with Amy."
"You and Devon wanted a commitment then," Lindsay said.
"I didn't. But things change. I fell for you and Devon."
"Perhaps you should try and talk to Devon," I suggested.
Lindsay sighed and rose from the bed, then strolled over
to me and took a seat in my lap. It was a very bold move on
her part, indeed, and one I certainly did not expect. "All
this talk I hear about how Amy and Stephanie are going to
stay here on the island."
Lindsay shook her head and added, "_I_ want to stay on
the island, Jeremy." As you may expect, those words were a
complete and total shock to me. In fact, I nearly had a
heart attack because of them. "_I_ want to devote my life
to you and Devon, because I love you both."
"Lindsay, I... I..." I was flabbergasted. Surely, Devon
did not want Lindsay to stay with us. The attraction she
felt for her was purely physical. What about Kristanna?
She still held a serious grudge against Lindsay from last
year. Kristanna would never allow Lindsay to stay with us.
What about me? I was also incredibly attracted to this
precious, little doll. But unlike Devon, I also looked at
Lindsay as an actual person. In recent times, I tried to
think of Lindsay in strictly physical terms. Why should I
allow myself to fall in love and care about her if she did
nothing but shy away from commitment? I still looked at her
as a person, though. There was no way around that.
But now, things were different, indeed. Could I fall in
love with Lindsay and that sweet-cheeks face of hers? Could
I care about her and that immaculate, unblemished figure of
hers? Lindsay looked so fresh and wholesome that she could
easily pass for a sophomore in high school. She was the
poster girl for innocence. Yes, I could fall for her.
But on the other hand, was it worth my time to do so?
Devon and Kristanna would never allow Lindsay to stay.
"All of the money you were going to pay me for staying
here... you could send it to my mother," Lindsay suggested.
"Maybe we could be one big, happy family, Jeremy. You, me,
Devon, Amy and Stephanie. We could make each other happy."
"Uhh... what about Kristanna?"
"Kristanna too," Lindsay nodded. "I forgot about her for
a second..." She smiled and added, "I love you, Jeremy. I
think I always have but only recently admitted it to myself.
I love Devon, too. I want to devote my life to you."
Oh God... I did not want to turn her down, and hurt her
feelings. I have had the same thing happen to me several
times in the past. I did not want to hurt Lindsay at all.
But did I have any choice? I had to think of the bigger
picture, which was dominated by my two lovely wives.
Suddenly, there was another knock at the door.
But instead of having to call out to learn who it was,
the door bursted open and there was Amy. The look in her
eyes told me that she was not one bit happy. I remembered
about an hour ago, when Devon blew up at Amy because she
had confided to me that everyone on the island (except
Sarah) was a slut. That group, of course, included both
Devon and Kristanna. It did not sit well with Devon.
But clearly, Amy thought that I had defied her trust and
told Devon what she had said to me in a private moment. Of
course, that was not the case. Devon eavesdropped on that
conversation from the voyeur room. I was innocent, but Amy
did not know that. There was no way for her to know. Amy
thought that I was the one who went behind her back and told
Devon what she said. But on the other hand, what Amy said
about Devon and everyone else was not malicious or mean. I
do not even know if Amy understood exactly what she said...
But none of that mattered right now. The only thing that
mattered was Amy and her piercing gaze. She was not happy.
"Why did you tell Devon what I said to you?" she snapped.
"I didn't tell her anything..." I countered.
"That's a lie!" Amy hissed. "You told her that I said
she and everyone else here is a slut! Why?"
"I didn't tell her anything..."
"Don't lie to me, Jeremy!" Amy warned, steam literally
coming out of her ears. "Devon is angry at me because you
couldn't keep your big mouth shut!"
"Uhh... what's going on?" Lindsay asked, still perched in
my lap. With her arms linked around my shoulders, Lindsay
glanced over at Amy and commented, "What's this about?"
"It's none of your concern," Amy responded.
"Look... I don't know how Devon found out what you said
about her and the others, but she did." That was a lie on
my part. I could not tell Amy about the voyeur room. Of
course, Trish may tell her and everyone else about in very
soon anyway. "Maybe she overheard us, or someone else did
and told her about it. Whatever the case, it wasn't me."
"Why is everyone always fighting here all of a sudden?"
Lindsay wondered, her eyes narrow. "All anyone has done in
the past couple of weeks is bitch and complain."
"Bitch and complain?" Amy exploded, her eyes now focused
upon Lindsay. Obviously, Amy took that as an insult. "You
are a big part of it, Lindsay!"
"What do you mean?" the blonde asked.
"Kristanna punched the wall because Devon was getting a
little too close with you!" My eyes widened in shock as
Amy added, "That is how she broke her hand and wrist!"
"HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?" I demanded, shocked.
"What?..." Lindsay asked, almost set to cry.
"You heard me!" Amy exclaimed. "Kristanna saw you and
Devon together, and punched the wall because of it. She
thought you were trying to steal Devon away from her. And
talk about bitching and complaining. All you do with Sarah
and Britney is bitch and complain about how Devon is
avoiding you. Don't you think there is a reason for that?
You almost destroyed her marriage!"
"I DID NOT!" Lindsay cried, springing up from my lap and
glaring at Amy. "I just wanted to be with her!"
"You no-good, home-wrecking, little BITCH!"
In a rage, Lindsay went over to Amy and was prepared to
slap her across the face for saying such a horrible thing.
But when Lindsay extended her hand out to swing it, I ran
up to her from behind and intercepted it with my own hands
before any violence transpired. Amy made a motion to do
the same, but I stepped in-between the two ladies and held
them at bay. Obviously, this was not what I wanted.
Lindsay and Amy were still struggling to get at each
other. I had to put a stop to this immediately.
"ON YOUR KNEES!"
Those words, spoken in my most menacing voice, were aimed
directly at Amy. And in less than the blink of an eye, she
had complied. After all, I was her Master. She looked at
me as her Master. Even better, Amy was emotionless as she
stood on her knees, her head bowed in total submission. It
looked like the fight, at least from her end, was over.
"YOU... GO OVER AND SIT DOWN!" I told Lindsay, pointing
toward the chair we had just left. Lindsay, who was still
crying because of Amy's words, nodded her head and complied.
Breathing heavily, I was fuming with anger. All of the
negative things which had happened over the past month had
gathered together, and were now boiling over inside of me.
"I have a mind to send EVERYONE home!" I erupted. "If you
can't get along with each other, then I DON'T WANT YOU HERE!
THIS IS _MY_ ISLAND AND WHAT I SAY, GOES!"
Amy had now joined Lindsay in the crying game because of
my loud outburst. I did not even know I had this type of
anger and heat inside of me. Yet, it still raged on.
"BOTH OF YOU... GET OUT OF HERE!" I demanded, pointing
toward the door. "LEAVE! _NOW_!"
"You're not sending us home... are you?" Lindsay quaked.
"NOW!" I reiterated, motioning toward the door. Without
further ado, both she and Amy hurried out of the suite and
closed the door behind them. Then, reality set in.
* * *
I dropped down to one knee and hid my face upon the bed.
That was not me. Not me at all. I could not believe that I
had spoken that way to Lindsay and Amy. What did Lindsay do
to deserve it? She professes her love for me, and then I
yell at her? Was that the proper way for me to react?
Upset, I continually pounded my hand upon the mattress. I
then heard the familiar sound of the voyeur room wall opening
behind me, but paid it no attention. Obviously, Devon and
Trish watched and listened to everything that had transpired.
I kept my face hidden in the mattress even as I felt a
hand touch and caress my back. I realized it belonged to
Devon. She was on one knee beside me.
"Jeremy..."
"Leave me alone."
"Jeremy..." Devon insisted. "Please..."
"I'm sick and tired of this," I told her, revealing my
face and looking her straight in the eyes. Devon shook her
head as I continued, my voice terse, "Lindsay was right.
All you girls want to do is bitch and fight anymore. You
and Amy want to go at it. Lindsay and Amy now, too. I'm
sure Kristanna would like a piece of Lindsay, too. Why not
throw Sarah and Britney into the mix as well? Even little,
submissive Stephanie. She needs an enemy." I threw my hands
out in exasperation and concluded, "Now Trish comes back and
we are BOUND to go through the same thing as last year."
"Jeremy, settle down," Devon frowned, trying to keep her
emotions in check. "You're upset now."
"Damn right I'm upset!" I exclaimed, my ire raising once
again. "You got Amy mad at me now! I didn't say anything
to you about what she told me, Devon! Nothing! Yet she
comes busting through my door and yells at ME for something
I had NOTHING to do with! All because of YOU! YOU KNOW
that you ARE NOT SUPPOSED to talk to the others or hint at
ANYTHING that you hear or oversee in the voyeur room!"
"Jeremy, I'm sorry. I wasn't..."
"Then you tell me what to do!" I interjected, still very
upset. "I don't appreciate that, Devon. I don't appreciate
it at all. You told me to send Lindsay home four or five
times. If I say NO, I mean NO. Do you understand that?"
"I said I'm sorry!" Devon cried. "What more do you want?"
What more do I want? That question set me off again...
"I don't care anymore!" I told her, rising to my feet.
"I used to like it here but not anymore. You girls... you
girls wanna fight... go ahead. I don't care. Destroy the
whole damn house if you want. I... I can't take anymore of
this. I... I'm leaving."
"What?" Devon exclaimed. "Jeremy, you're not go..."
"I'm tired of all the fighting and bickering," I cut her
off. "I'm tired of being taken advantage of. Not that
there is anywhere for me to go, but I'm leaving. I'm going
somewhere on the island far, far away. Don't come looking
for me. When I get back is when I get back. No earlier.
In the meantime... you girls want to claw and scratch away
at each other... be my guest. I can't handle this anymore."
As I turned to walk away, Devon cried out, "You're my
husband, Jeremy, and I love you! Why are you doing this?"
"Everyone here used to be friends," I answered, looking
back at her. "You want nothing to do with Lindsay now.
Kristanna hates Lindsay. Lindsay and Amy hate each other.
And you hate Amy. I... I can't take it anymore."
"I don't hate Amy!" Devon cried as I made my move toward
the door. Without saying a word, Trish stepped out of the
way and I slipped right past her. And off I went...
