   Captains Log 21 October 2254 1715HRS
   We have just reached the outer colonies on our routine patrol of Earth
space territories.  We are now enroute on our return leg to Earth HQ for
routine maintenance.  As always we will meet u with UPS Columbus half way
for dinner with her Captain John Herdinaz.  As always I look forward to
these dinners between patrols to catch up what is going on and any problems
within our patrol routes and the general camaraderie of her captain and I.
