Terrible. Not even worth it. Move on.
Okay, I guess I should elaborate... I expected a lot of this story since
it came so highly reccommended. So I printed it out (like 100+ pages!!!)
and read it over the course of several nights.
It was Frustrating (capital "f" intentional). Why? Well, the story kept
*promising* to get exciting but then... shied away. The author seems obsessed
in this tale of an "Adult-Female-Teacher-Becomes-Slave-of-Teenage-Female-Student"
with establishing, over and over, how much of a slave the victim is. And
how much, *yawn*, the victim secretly likes her new lot in life. It gets
old...
STOP TELLING ME AND SHOW ME! I want to scream as I read it.
And that's just it, really. The author here tells rather than shows,
and it's annoying. Shrugs... I give it one measly Li'l Toon.

Here's an Opposing Viewpoint by Ted E. Bear, the guy who sent me
this story in the first place!
"[Owned Teacher] involves blackmail & heavy
humiliation. ... at 28 chapters, [it] still has 2 chapters to go. Thumb,
the author, hasn't been feeling well so it's almost been a year since he
released #28. I 'talked' to him recently and he's getting into #29 as we
speak. Even without the last 2 chapters, it is the blackmail classic of
all times. On a scale of 1 - 10, it's a 12."

Another Opposing Viewpoint!
"I agree with Ted E. Bear-'Owned Teacher' is a
classic.
I think 12 out of 10 is too low a score.
How about a 20 out of ten?
I have been waiting for the last 2 chapters
forever it seems."

Yet Another Opposing Viewpoint!
"I'm shocked at you. I saw today your review
of Owned Teacher. So negative, it was! Maybe it was
colored by your expectations. That one is an absolute favorite, not
only of myself but apparently of everyone else. It seems to me to
get at the essence of what makes reluctance so sexy, and this is rare,
whereas detailed descriptions of sex are commonplace. The story has
its flaws, of course, and I don't think it should be read in one sitting
. . . but this is a seminal work (that's kind of a pun, I guess), and deserves
more respect from a site like yours.
Half the stories of this kind are immitations
of Owned Teacher."
