Tiffany's Diaper Tales

Chapter 009
The next morning Laura and I woke up. Our diapers were soaked
and squishy. We sat up in the crib. Mommy hadn't come in to
change us yet. "I bet my diaper is wetter then yours." I said
"No it isn't. Mine is wetter." We both slid our jammies down
and looked at each other's cloth diaper and rubber pants. "Ok
so you are wetter." "I told ya." I said. A few minutes later
Aunt Kathy came in and changed our diapers.
We had breakfast and went to church and had a wonderful time.
Later that afternoon, Laura's mommy came and picked her up.
She also thanked my mom and dad for letting her stay the
weekend. After they pulled out of the driveway I went to my
room and sat there. I was kind of sad. It was times like this
that were lonely without Teala, Tammy and Amy. I called Robert
and he came over and played with me until dinner.
Later that night mommy and I and Aunt Kathy played some board
games until my bed time. I got to stay up later because there
was no school since it was now Christmas break. Amy and Tammy
would be coming home later in the week. Tammy would probably
take a bus and be here around Thursday afternoon. Amy was
flying in from Montana. She was due to come in Thursday
afternoon as well. I had decided I wanted to ride with Aunt
Kathy to go see Amy since I had just seen Tammy a couple weeks
ago after the concert at church. Teala wouldn't be coming home
accept for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after.
With her new job it was hard for her to get away since she was
very busy learning the ropes and getting ready to take over as
Station Manager in January.
That night mommy said prayers with me and we talked for a bit
while I was in my crib. "I can't wait to see Amy and Tammy." I
said. "I know baby, Me too. But you have all week to play with
your friends and before you know it, everyone will be together
again." Mommy said. "It's too bad it won't last long though" I
said. "As you get older honey, it's hard to find the time to
get together with friends and family. That's why when you have
the opportunity, even for a short time, it means so much.
That's what good memories are made up of. All the fun times
you have with those you love." Mommy said as she leaned over
my crib and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"Now you get some sleep baby. Mommy loves you." She said as
she pulled back my covers and put Mr. Fluffy in my arms and
then tucked me back in all nice and snug. "You always know
just what to say mommy. I love you. I feel better now too.
Thank you." I said. Mommy had a tear in her eye as she smiled.
She Look down at her precious baby girl, in her crib all
tucked in and ready for a peaceful night's slumber.
