Fiona (my big sister) decided that it
was high time for me to refresh my site interview and bring it up to date. So we decided
to meet in the chat room, and whatever was said would be published (her idea not mine). It
does get personal but I did promise to publish as it happens.

So lets give you some background.
When this online chat interview took place Fiona and me had not seen each other for over
three months. But we have regular contact via emails, msn and the phone. Because of work
commitments, we decided the chat room was best for this session.

All I have done, is to format it for
the site to make it look as it does. No extra words have been added, but I did run it
through a spell check to get rid of all my errors, and Fiona did give me the courtesy of
email some of things she will ask before hand.

(Karen) I didn’t find them they found me. After sending
me a sample of work, it was obvious they had talent and deserved

be on the worlds best site (of it’s kind). I really do admire what the site authors
do on the site, it kinda brings
things
to life.
(Fiona) I agree, they all give so much to the site and I love
them all.

never have come this far without them, they provide a good cross section of content,
which
means everyone gets something they like.

as well, for working so hard on the site. It’s come a long way since you
took
over it.

work. sometimes a writer will need his or her contact details omitted or amended, and you
have
to find the page and correct it before uploading again.

(Fiona) have you had any new writers
come to you recently?

(Karen) yes I had a few, normally
the story is to short to warrant spending time uploading or it doesn’t fit the sites
theme
etc
but I recently had one sent that needed some editing. His story plot was so good, I
figured he at least deserved
some
help and he will soon be a regular writer on the site.

seeing his work then. You said in your last
email you plan to write more?

(Karen) yes, I plan to write a lot
more soon. Both short stories for the site and also a couple of novels are planned.

to shy from a challenge and I love writing

complete novel

for the site, I would never have been inspired to write, and I don’t plan to turn
my
back on something that gives me so much friendship and pleasure.

(Karen) I already have a publisher
prepared to deal with me, thanks to my contact with the author I emailed, and
she
has also told me about one of the top e-publishing sites that pay 70% of royalties, which
is a good return.

about.
