When Stephanie had been offered a job at Interpol she had expected to be doing something more exciting than filing papers and producing reports,but so far that was all she had been permitted to do.She had to admit that her boss Mr Knight was a very nice man to work for,but somehow she just wanted to do something more exciting than this.While again day dreaming about being involved in a secretive mission and capturing the villain single handed,she failed to notice Mr Knight walking up to her desk.

Mr Knight just laughed sweetly at her,"No Stephanie,Dr Thomas over at our lab just needs someone to do some bio scans and other little medical tests on.As I know you are interested in becoming an active agent,volunteering for something like this will improve your chances of becoming one I should think.By the way Dr Thomas is a woman doctor so that should be OK for you,and there will also be another female agent there so everything is safe for you."

Mr Knight checked the forms over,smiled and said to her,"Excellent I will just let Dr Thomas know to expect you shortly,here is her address, and this is the paperwork authorising you to take a car from the motor pool to get there.I hope you enjoy the whole experience."

"Oh I'm sure I will Sir,hopefully my first step to becoming a full agent.I presume these tests will take all afternoon,so I presume I report back here in the morning.And thank you Mr Knight for nominating me for this."she said getting up from her desk and preparing to leave.

"Yes I will see you then Stephanie."he said as she skipped out the door,then adding after she had left with a smile on his face,"But you will feel slightly differently by then!"

Stephanie proceeded to drive to the address she had been given,when she got there it seemed a pretty nondescript building,surrounded by chain link fence in open countryside.She just assumed that was how Interpol hid their 'secret offices' in a manner that wouldnt get them noticed at all.She showed her pass to the electronic eye at the gate,and they slowly opened and she drove through,the gates closing firmly behind her afterwards.She parked the car neatly,then went looking for the entrance to the building.She tracked down a blank looking door,again showed her pass to the electronic eye and the door opened for her.It was a strange sort of building,just 1 corridor surrounded by 1 giant laboratory with the entrance at the end of the corridor.

You will be our only superheroines for a little while."

"Oh."said both girls slightly disappointedly,as they were both secretly thinking about a Superhero boyfriend!

"But for now our success is complete,and we know the process works as your bodies are now those of Supergirl and Wonder Woman.Now all we have to do is transform your minds accordingly."Dr Thomas told them.

"To some extent you will be a little like robots,"explained Dr Thomas, "You will be utterly loyal to Interpol and will obey every command we give you,but in your new personas you will be free to choose your own friends as well.However your old personalities must be wiped away,and replaced with a totally new set of memories.We have to ensure that you believe that you have always been Wonder Woman and Supergirl,and that Stephanie Bell and Amanda Cooper have never existed."

Stephanie said to the Doctor,"Now this may seem a little innocent,but how do we live a normal life,my identity will be changed and I look nothing like my passport picture anymore!"

"If the situation arises Interpol will provide you with any necessary paperwork in your new identities,we will provide you both with somewhere to live and all necessary possessions.All traces,and I mean all traces of your previous lives are being removed as we speak."The Doctor told them,"And as you can both fly yourselves,why would you need a passport?"

"Thats right I guess."said Amanda smiling,"No more queues at immigration for us!By the way I presume we get the outfits to wear as well?"

"Yes you do,"smiled the Doctor,"several identical outfits will be provided for you both.I'm glad you are both being so co-operative,I think Interpol were expecting you to put up a bigger fight over this matter.If you like you may change into your outfits before I do the mind reprogramming of you both."

Stephanie was the first to speak,"Well as far as I'm concerned I have been given this vital role for Interpol,something I have always dreamed of,a marvellous new figure as well,so I'm willing to accept a little mind control as the price for this,and at least I wont be completely like a little obedient machine.And so much better than being a filing clerk!I dont know what Amanda thinks though." then giggling adds,"Or should I now say Supergirl."
