The [Adult] Reading For The Blind Project

This primary purpose of this project is to create audio versions of popular stories for the benefit of reading challenged people (blind, dyslexic, etc.). Although we expect that many other people will enjoy the audio versions, they are not our primary audience.

If you are a visually handicapped person, I would greatly appreciate some feedback. It would be nice to know if our efforts mean anything to anyone.

Stories

Strickland83 was kind enough to record his short story of The Make out Machine.

We are pleased to have been granted permission to host this story by Vinnie Tesla read by Ellie Lumpesse. I love the sound of her voice and I hope that she will grace us with more recordings in the future.

Fruitcake Lovers

This story was written by me, Ace McCloud . This production is an "audio play" style recording, where every character is read by a different person.

This story was was written by me, Ace McCloud. It is also read by me.

Stories In-Progress

I finished the script for the Frank Downey classic The Ghosts of Christmas Past and the first bit has been recorded. We still have parts for female voices available.

My friend Storymaster69 is working on a script for his story "A Picture's Worth".

Planned Stories

I have also been granted permission to record another Frank Downey classic,
Finding a Place .

I have permission to record the Jazz Club stories by Nick Scipio.

I have permission to record the works of Dryad . Many of these are short, women centric stories and would be perfect material for a reader who would prefer to read entire stories. Her work is recommended by Nick Scipio (ok, it's recommended by me too,
but for some reason lots more people listen to him than to me).

Projects In Hiatus

We have decided to put production of Summer Camp, Book 1
by Nick Scipio on hiatus. It is difficult to work on a story that is still in progress.
It is also difficult to produce recordings for such a large story.
We will come back to this when we have more experience and a larger team.
