Announcements - March, 2017 Hello everyone. Thank you for taking the time to tune in to our monthly Nepi Stories Announcements page. I wish to start off by thanking those of you who have contributed a story or two to our beloved Nepi Stories Collection during the month of February. Although the number of story submissions went down - most likely due to the raise in standard of the minimum story length - the quality of those few stories that WERE submitted was a definite improvement. The spelling, punctuation, and grammar of the more recent stories has improved (slightly), and there appears to be a bit more substance to the works submitted - the idea being that if we can post longer and better quality stories, the more nepi fans we will attract. The more nepi fans that we can attract, the more stories we can expect to be submitted. I guess you could call it the "snowball" effect. In other news: it is no surprise to me that the Nepi Chatroom was shut down again. As mentioned in last month's announcement page, I highly suspect that the room had been flagged for surveillance and that is was under intense scrutiny by various authorities. So, to conclude, it seems we are back to square one. Just a note to all who have asked me about this (more specifically, to set up another nepi chat room), the answer is no. As moderator, I will no longer allow the Nepi Stories Collection to be tied to any illegal activity. Not only does it threaten the entire existance of the Nepi Story Collection itself (as far as updates are concerned), it threatens my well being as well. I would rather be sitting here in the slums of my sorry existance - maintaining and updating the Nepi Stories Collection for all of our fans, than to be sitting behind bars - most likely in a Federal Correctional Facility, waiting for the inevitable blanket party / beatdown. I think I've made my point. To conclude, I wish to give a special shout out / thank you to one of our most prolific authors by the pen name of "Nate." It is largely because of his efforts that I am contemplating the immense task of setting up separate folders for EVERY author that has contributed a story (or several stories) to the Nepi Collection. Of course, this makes sense on many different levels - not the least of which is the reader's ability to seek out his or her favorite nepi story based on their favorite author(s) / writing style(s). Secondly, with each author given his / her own personal folder, they will know exactly where to find their stories - as each new submission will now be placed in a minimum of two separate places within the Nepi Collection: The NEW SUBMISSIONS folder AND the author's personal folder. I ask all of our nepi fans to please be patient with this endeavor - as it will take quite some time to set this up on my thumb drive (a recently purchased Lexar 64GB thumb drive) as I will be archiving EACH and EVERY story in the Nepi Stories Collection so that if (god forbid) our parent site ASSTR runs out of funds due to lack of money contributions - or shuts down unexpectedly, the entire Nepi Stories Collection will be saved to a backup drive within my own personal collection, and reposted to another host site that will be friendly - or at least neutral / tolerant of fictional erotica that seem (last I checked) to be harming no one. Rest assured, if this does occur, the host site will probably originate within Russian territory - as they seem to be somewhat understanding of the nature of these things.
