but could never really let it set it. She was still douching
twice a day out of shear fear. Another week went by and April
just could not live with it anymore. Each night was a huge
long evening as she couldn't sleep, she couldn't function. All
she had was that worry over her head. She finally went out late
and night and bought a cheap pregnancy kit. The cheaper it was
the better because it might tell her she wasn't pregnant and
it would at least give her a little hope. When she got home she

said. In two minutes, her life was over. Even this cheap little
kit said she was pregnant. She cried for hours, then days. Finally
she got in the car and actually went and search her boyfriend
down. She finally saw his car parked near the college and by
asking different people, found out his new room.

When she knocked and he answered, his face about hit the floor
to see that it was April. She asked if she could come in and
he politely said no and was about to shut the door. She begged
him to just give her five minutes, she deserved that much. As
much as he didn't want to, he agreed. She started right away with
why did he disappear? Why wouldn't he return her phone calls. 
Nothing came out of his mouth. April was now getting very upset.

Her dad took everything by the horn. Lawyers, warrants, the entire
legal thing. The court date was about 5 months away but not once
did any of the lawyers ever hear from her ex boyfriend. When
the day of the trial came, for the first time in a year, April
saw her boyfriend and he was sitting with his mom and dad and
a few of his college friends. So much time had gone by, April
had really convinced herself that her boyfriend was the baby's
father. As soon as the trial started, the boyfriends lawyer
asked if they could approach the bench. They had a small package
in their hands. Of course April's lawyer went up to the stand
to hear what was going on. The judge looked over a few of the
papers in the envelope and then hit his gavel on his desk. He
said court would be on hold for 30 minutes while the two lawyers
and himself go talk about what was given him. Nobody really 
knew what was going on but April's boyfriend and parents. Inside
the envelope was about 13 letters all signed by people watching
the event that said everything that took place was consensual.
Then when the two lawyers and the judge took out the video tape
and placed it into the VCR, they watched a video tape taken by
the girl that ran back to the room to get her camera. She
couldn�t find her digital camera so she grabbed her roommates

asked April a few questions. One of them was how she was sure
the baby belonged to her boyfriend. It was then she was caught
in a HUGE lie. She told the judge only he had been with her
for two years. With that the judge could take no more. He
couldn't stand for anybody to be railroaded in his court. He
immediately dismissed the case and ruled the boy innocent. But
April and her parents started to complain. It was then that their
lawyer told them not to say anymore. But it was way to late. The
judge had both April and her parents come into his chamber. Then
he gave them all one of his strictest speeches about girls like
April and how if he could, she would be in jail. Aprils father
was furious until the judge told them to sit down and not say
a word for the next 35 minutes. That�s how long the video was.
It was the longest 35 minutes in both April's and her parents
life. April saw what really went on, her dancing and making

When the tape was over, you could hear a pin drop. Except
for two people crying. Both April and her mom were in tears.
They now didn't even know who's baby it was and because

let it go any further. He warned them all never to be seen in
his court again and he better never hear of any of this going
any further, if he did, April really might just find herself
in Jail.

As they left the court, not a word was said. Her boyfriend and
all his friends had already left and as soon as they got home,
April's stuff was packed up and she was given cab money. Her
parents had never been so humiliated or deceived in their
lives. They couldn't have April under their roofs anymore. It
was more then you April could take, she fainted and was taken
to the hospital. Her parents kept the baby while she worked
in a small restaurant to try to make things meet. Her life was
