Accidental Hand Crush in BZ Heels 05-Apr-98 12:22:11

Let's try this again......

The first crush was provided by our youngest BZHeel Girl! As you may or may not recall from Rugman's OLD board, myself and Truckgirl (who has a propensity for crushing raccoons, oppossums, skunks, etc with her truck) had given her daughter a pair of lower BZHeels for her 16th birthday, which was about 6 weeks ago! After much practice around the house (and many dents in her bedroom floor), she finally started wearing the heels out! For a 16 yr-old, her mom told me she's pretty non-concerned with where her feet and heels landed! The daughter (we'll call her TD from now on) had occasionally come home and told mom things like "I accidentally smashed Jennifer's toes in the locker room with my boots!", but with a wicked grin on her face! Mom would just smile, because you don't encourage your 16 yr old even though she's acting just like you did when you were her age!! But, to date there had been no BZHeel incidents til this weekend! The family had one of those appointments for a family portrait and everyone dressed up! So that means Mom and Daughter in their BZHeels!

After the appointment they dropped the daughter off at a home where she babysits three kids sometimes. FLASHBACK SEQUENCE: It turns out that the oldest son is fascinated by TD's feet, and is more-behaved when she wears skirts or at least hose with her jeans! He would purposely lay his hands where she could step on them, and sometimes she would goof around with him while sitting down so the weight was minimum! How many times have we seen the origin of the male foot fetish start like this!! BACK TO REAL TIME.

It turns out the oldest son had a friend over and that she'd have to babysit an extra, but it was a short time, so all parents agreed it would be cool!

Here's where the forces of a 123 lb high heel wearing girl walking down stairs and little boys curiosities meet in a "less than desirable" manner! As TD was clomping down the stairs in her miniskirt and BZHeels the oldest charge and his friend were getting ready to test a theory of their own... would a small toy they took from the kid's little sister withstand a BZHeel StepDrop!!!! I commend their orginality, but not their execution! Apparently, at the last minute the extra friend wanted to move the toy over and stuck his had out on the step. (Basement stairs where you could hide underneath).. TD did not see it and dropped FULL WEIGHT down on the youngster's hand with the steel heel tip on her pump! Everyone heard a blood curdling scream from the boy, and if you were close enough a big THUNK because he jerked his head into some 2 x 4 underneath the stairs and put a big knot in his head! His hand swelled up immediately and they took him to the hospital where the X-ray's revealed broken bones. She had landed on his hand just back of the middle finger! Other than that, Truckgirl got no more information, his hand should fully recover, but he'll be a cast for some weeks! It's hard to press a family for info because you have a friend who would post the incident and those reading would want details!!!

Of course, the boys had to embarrassingly come clean about their prank and TD was exonerated completely! The mother of the victim called later to say she was so sorry that her son had done something that may have caused TD to fall on the steps, and told her not to worry, he'd learn his lesson, he'd be OK, and everyone knew it wasn't her fault! (I thought that showed some serious class, because that mother could have really come down on TD, and a 16 yr old, regardless of how cocky her shoes are, is still unprepared to withstand harsh criticism from an adult!)

Later, TD and TruckGirl were talking about the incident, TD repeating it wasn't my fault, I didn't see them! TG finally calmed her down and told her "you just need to be a little more careful around little kids is all." TD said "yeah, these are pretty killer heels, aren't they?" TruckGirl could only smile and nod.
