EAH....I SAW A BUG GET CRUSHED TODAY!! Wednesday, 25-Feb-98 14:01:14

WOW.....after all of the time I've been complaining on many of these boards that I love crush but never get a chance to witness a good looking woman step on a bug.....WELL FINALLY! Today I was walking back to my office after lunch and when I got into my building and was heading for the elevator, I saw two women and a man standing off to one side looking down at something. I pressed closer to hear the conversation and I heard one of the women say, "I can believe in this cold weather this has survived." I got close enough to see that what they were looking at was this hairy caterpillar - a gypsy moth type from our area - about two inches long with lots of legs. It was lumbering about slowly along the floor of the lobby. Just then the other woman, who was dressed in a red skirt suit with two and a half inch winter white pumps said "Not for long." With that she stepped on it with her left foot and began to press down on the ball of her foot until I heard a very distinct pop and then she slowly twisted her foot from side to side two or three times. She dragged her foot back wards and left a long smear of whiteish pulpy looking liquid and pieces of the caterpillar mixed in. The other woman said "Hey, what did you do that for?" and she said "I hate bugs - I couldn't let that one live either." WOW - what an experience. After the three of them got into an elevator and went off to their destination, I stared at the remains for a minute just remembering what it had looked like when it was alive, and how a cute 5 foot 2 woman could end its life so easily with her foot.
