Subject: True BZHeels Finger/Foot Crushes... in Girls' Words! Date: Sun Feb 1 12:39:01 1998

ANOTHER CUT AND PASTE FROM 4 EMAILS...HOPE IT LOOKS OK!
This is the email correspondence from my friend, C.C., who has 3 pairs of BZHeels... black, cream, and white. Her particulars are:
1 Job: Conference Coordinator (C.C.) 2. Height: 5'7" 3. Weight: 133 lbs 4. Shoe Size: 7 1/2 B
Her job takes her around the country coordinating conferences, i.e., arranging logistics at the site (auditoriums, hotels, keynote speakers, etc). There's also lots of set-up time, where specific display booths are layed out and sometimes built.
It also allows her a week in a city she probably won't be back in for a couple years, which is perfect for cocky high heel wearing woman! Her heels aren't as high as the ones you've seen on the web, they are basic 3" pumps with a 1/4" wide tip. Comfy enough to wear ALL the time!
At a conference in the early summer of 1997 she managed a really good finger crush! I finally found the two email from her about it in an old email backup 135 MB disk. So hear it is, in her own words... .. The scenario is a raised stage had to be built in a certain part of a convention center.
"I also wanted to tell you that I did my first real crush in the cream-colored BZ Devestators yesterday at work. You would have loved it. We were helping to load and sort big boxes of brochures for the symposium. While I was working on the stage a workman was on the floor tightening the steps that come down from near the back of the stage. I didn't like him anyway (he leered at my legs whenever I went past him). He had one hand gripped around the upper step and the palm of his other hand flat on the stage while trying to work. When I was forced to step back by someone passing me I aimed for his fingers. I got the nail of his middle finger--right in the middle. His fingertip felt somewhat soft and rubbery when I crushed down. I stood with all my weight. He screamed and tried to pull his finger out and when that did nothing he almost lifted me into the air by grabbing and raising my heel with his other hand. Once free he went rolling onto the carpet holding his finger. I used Patti's line and asked, "Oh, did I get you?" He answered, "Oh god, girl, you got me! You got me good, girl, you surely did! God, them heels!" Of course I was so sorry. (I went to an anteroom and changed into some sneakers I had, saying that I should not have worn those while working in such a crowded area...but I was really afraid of anyone asking to see my heels.) The workman had to go to the doctor's. Before going he showed me his fingernail. It was split lengthwise the whole way to the cuticle! Half of his nail was sunk deeper into the nailbed than the other half. They had to give him a shot to numb his finger so they could remove the nail. It will grow back I am glad to report but he was sent home for the day with some pain killers. Everyone kept trying to make me feel better by saying it wasn't my fault. (A set-up like this one was so rare you can understand why I had to get him). Even so, I hadn't meant to do THAT much damage. Holy s--t, BZ, those heels are total murder. If I had been in your Pluses or Xecutioners I'd have probably crushed off the end of his finger! I hope I never get caught at this game. Not to be crude about this, but I have to admit that I got a little damp watching him rolling about in agony over what for me amounted to little more than the press of my foot. If my boss ever sees me do that in those heels, my ass will be grass!"
I SENT HER AN EMAIL TO CLARIFY IN MY MIND THAT SHE MANAGED TO GET 100% OF HER WEIGHT ON HIS FINGER...LIKE SHE SAID, IT'S REALLY UNUSUAL THAT YOU CAN CATCH A FINGER SQUARELY. HER REPLY IS BELOW.
"I did more than 100%...I lept onto it and came down with everything on the heel...I wasn't positive of my aim so I braced on a post to stumble...but I got him dead square...he has sort of flat dirty nails anyway, and the vertical lines in them are clearly visable....it split along one of those lines and crushed that half of the nail under into the nail bed. Thank you so much for the shoes...!!!!"
HE CAME BY LATER IN THE WEEK TO HT ON C.C. AGAIN... BRINGING HIS DAUGHTER ALONG TO 'SOFTEN' THE SELL. SHE FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS ELIGIBLE FOR WORKMEN'S COMP FOR BEING OFF WORK BUT WAS TOO PROUD TO SUBMIT A CLAIM AND PUT "WOMAN STEPPED ON MY FINGER" AS REASON!!! :-)
