I finished with some interior consultant work with a client's home in Orange Park Acers. Koman was riding his bike, trying to keep up with me as usual. It was a 7 miles drive, and there was a 3 miles stretch of down hill, along Jamboree. I was driving right next to Koman, going about 35 to 40 mph. I was chatting with him over the radio, teasing him that he was lucky that we were going down hill, otherwise that was no way he could have kept up.

I saw the traffic light turning yellow, so I accelerated to make the light. Suddenly, I saw a huge raccoon (recently been hit, probably already dead), just in the middle of the road. I ran right over it with my front right and rear wheels. Koman was sprinting right behind my right, rear corner at the time, and got splashed with the poor raccoon's blood and guts. I really got him good, and it was so gross!!! His jersey and shorts were soaked in blood, so bad that we actually had to throw out his clothes. It was pretty nasty, but I really didn't mean to do that to him.
