Centipede Story - True Saturday, 06-Dec-97 00:55:45

I swear that I will never ever forget this day for as long as I live. It was in the summertime. My wife who is 5'6 115 lbs and a very good-looking brunette with tan, tone legs you would die for was complaining about seeing centipedes outside sometimes, but I was never at the right place at the right time if you know what I mean. We were outside in our backyard working, pulling weeds and stuff like that. She looked good that day too. She had on a flannel shirt, short jean shorts, and brown, ankle-high lace up boots. We thought it was time for a break so we walked back to our patio. The next turn of events will never ever leave my mind. As we approached the patio, I could see the cement moving. As I got closer, I could see there were about a hundred centipedes on the patio if not more. I almost wet my pants cause I knew what was going to happen next. She went to get the hose and said, "I'll just spray them off." I immediately yelled "no!, they will just crawl back on when you are done spraying them." She put the hose back and said, "honey, could you?" I said, "oh no, I'm not doin that." She gave a sigh and began the greatest experience of my life. She walked on the patio stepping on centipede after centipede. I slowly moved in to get a better look. I watched as her smooth legs raised her foot, which came down on bug after bug. She placed her boot on some and grinded them into the concrete leaving a bloody stain. Kind of like a cigarette. She would stomp on some really hard leaving their bodies just squashed down on the ground. She would do a dance on them, twisting and grinding. All this and the crunch sounds almost made me faint. She searched for the living ones amongst the dead and squashed them all. This lasted an eternity to me. When she was done, all that was left was a patio loaded with centipede guts. She saw a few still squirming (I don't know how they survived the first time) and she stepped on them with her boots ending their existence. She said, "what a mess!" as I stood there in awe. I watched as she scraped off their dead remains on the edge of the concrete. She said, "now I better get the hose!" She sprayed off the bottoms of her boots with the hose. I said, "you go inside and relax, I'll clean this up." With that, she went inside and I examined some of them. I could see the tread from the bottom of her boot inbedded in the little things. I stood back. I knew something like this was never going to happen again. That was the most amazing thing I ever saw. And I will cherish it for as long as I live.
