The young man arrived home that day to find something very unusual in his mail box. It was a letter that had the return address of the company he had just won a lawsuit for a few months back. It read: Dr Mr. Carter: Thank you so much for helping us win our case against the designer thieves back in december. Now we want to repay you. First, the weather is getting a bit warmer with spring coming on. So, we would like to get you a new suit ready! That right! We want to give you new suit. Now the pattern is going to be a suprize. So all you have to do is send us your measurements and we will get started on it right away! Also! We want to invite you on a cruise on our company yaght that we bought with the settlement that you helped us get. Just show on peer 23 in the Sand Over Sand Marina in San Francisco on the 18th of May. Be there at 8 am! Don't disapoint us, and we wont disapoint you! Truglinee' Designers P.S. Don't forget your headband measurement too.
His eyes bugged out! Wow! This was going to be fun! He had always wanted to go on a cruise on one of those beautiful yaghts. This was great!
So he picks up his coat and runs out to his BMW and drives to his taylor.
Jack, I need you to take my measurements immediately! After finishing, Jack naturally wanted to know why he was in such a hurry to take his measuremnts. Mr. Carter told him it was none of his business and to keep his questions to himself. Then on his way out of the store, Carter dropped a five dollar bill on the floor at Jack's feet. That elicited a curse from Jack.
On his way home Carter stuffed the return envelope with his measurements and jotted on the back that he would be there. He had a boyish grin on his face.
That night he got to thinking about that case the company had written him about. A group of eight women had created a design that took off like a flash. They were making pretty good money at it too. Greg Carter had a good reputation for being able to get the job done. He could beat any case. And he was absolutely ruthless in the court room. For a price. He was a member of "sleeze law", a common term used to describe lawyers that robbed from the poor to give to the rich. And Greg Carter was as good as they come. His reputation had gotten him many cases. With each case his reputation got better and worse. This case was the appitomy of his career. Truglinee' approached him one sunny July afternoon and presented him with a dossiare' on these eight women. Thier designs and how successful it had become. And they wanted it. And they wanted Greg Carter to get it for them. And they didn't care what he had to do to get it. He just had to get it for them. The rest is history. The next couple of months went by fairly quickly for Greg. He won two more cases. One was a major metropolitin police department that had beaten some guy half to death. As it were the guy was some transient that was just too damned unlucky to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Of course, Greg won the case for the police. The transient went to jail and a group of overly violent cops got to keep thier jobs and prowl the street another day. Bet then, that was Greg Carter. He always got the job done.
Greg pulled up in and parked next to the office. He got out and went inside the office and asked the manager where to find peer 23. After the manager pointed in the appropiate direction Greg gave the guy a hundred bucks and told him not to let anything happen to his brand new BMW 725i.
Greg locked his car after grabbing his overnight bag then headed for pier 23. He had no idea this was going to be his last stroll...
As he reached the boat his eyes fell upon a banner that read: "Welcome Greg Carter! Come on Board!" Greg crossed the gangway onto the deck of the yaght. As he came onto the boat he looked around. It was one hell of a nice boat! About a hundred foot long. The whole damned thing was pearly white. It was beautiful. This was going to be one nice cruise he thought.
As he walked around the weather deck he was checking the doors. Most all of them were locked. Peering in windows he could make out no activity. It didn't appear that anyone was here. Greg continued walking until he reached the fan tail. The ship was docked bow in, so he had a nice view of the gulf Pacific back here. Suddenly he was grabbed from behind! Then a needle was shoved into his neck! Shortly his conciousness began to wane. His world swam and he blacked out.
Greg awakened to find he was staring at himself! He was very disoriented. He worked on clearing his thoughts. Suddenly he caught movement out of the corner of his eye. He tried to move. He was bound! He couldn't move. Worse, he realized he was flat on his back and totally naked! And he was in some kind of rubber body cast. The damned body cast had a damned firm hold on him. It went from head to toe covering all but the front of his body and face. He began taking a closer look at himself in the mirror that he now realized was on the ceiling. He was strapped down onto the floor of what appeared to be a cargo bay. The straps were the orange cargo types. "Damn! I'm in the cargo bay!" he said. "Thats right, you are Mr. Carter." Said a seething female voice from above his head. Greg tried to see where the voice was coming from, but like the rest of him. His head was held tight also. He grunted in frustration. "Well I see you are starting to come around. Good." Said the voice. Greg watched her come into view as she was speaking to him. "Do you remember the case that you won for Truglinee'?" He looked up at her towering figure. She was beautiful! Then confusion crossed his face. "Of course thats why I am here." He said emphasizing the I am. "I won that case against those stupid broads for this company." He smiled up at her and she was smiling back. "This is some kind of a joke right?" He said looking around the room as he said it. "Oh no. This is no joke Mr Carter." She said still smiling. Then her smile twisted into a scowl. "You see, I am one of those stupid broads!" She shouted at him. His eyes rivited on hers in total suprize. "What? Your crazy! This the company's yaght! They sent the letter to me over two months ago! Come on! Lets quit messing around, I want to get off this boat. This ain't funny no more!" The woman was smiling at him again. "Oh I am afraid that is quite impossible Mr. Carter. You see, we are out to sea right now. About 50 miles out." She waited for his reaction like a cat waits for a mouse to make it first move. When he didn't reply she continued. "That letter you recieved was from us 'dumb broads' as you so eloquently put it. The return address was our new PO box number. So you see, we have been playing you for a sap since you f-cked us over that court room!" By the time she had finished the sentence she was seething again. "Now you are going to pay buster!" She was getting angry at this point. Greg was starting to get scared as all of this was sinking in. "Oh sh-t!" he thought to himself. "I had no idea..." he stammered. "Shut up you big bad f-cking lawyer! I don't want to hear it!" She kicked him in the side of the head as she strode out of the room. Greg lay there in terror. Here was trapped on a ship with at least one woman who had who knows what planned for him. He began struggling desperately to get free. But his rubber body cast was solid hard rubber. He was in there for sure and the was no getting out. His mind swam in terror. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity he heard foot steps approaching. And there was more thatn one set of feet. As a matter of fact there were a lot of people coming! Hope began to rise in his chest. "I am rescued!" He thought. He started screaming for help. "Oh thank God! Hurry up and get me out of this thing! There is a crazy woman on board!" "Shut up worm!" It was the woman who had left earlier! Greg knew he was doomed. Then he heard a new sound. It was rollers rolling over a metal deck. Something heavy. Then it came into view.
It was a big set of paralell bars. It rolled over top of him just missing him by inches. The casters it was set upon were elevated about a foot. In the center of the bars platform was an oval hole about six foot at its longest dimention. The longest dimention was paralell with the bars. He knew immediately that the hole was there to accomidate him. Then they began lowering it in place. He heard cranking noises as it began to lower. His mind began to envision what was about to happen to him. They were going to trample on him! He was mortified! He was trapped and they were going to humiliate and probably kill him! He had already figured that pleading with these people was going to do no good. They had went to a lot of expence and preparation for this. Besides, he had his pride. And he wasn't going to beg! Once they had the platform in place he heard buckles being fastened. The platform was being locked into place. When they had finished, the platform was even with his body and the bars wer paralell to him head to toe. Greg decided to say one more thing before what he knew was coming. "Look, you don't have to do this. I am a rich man. I can pay you all of the money you lost to Truglinee'" He heard an immediate responce. "This isn't about the money anymore Greg. It is about our rights. You trampled all over them. And to make it simple, WE are going to trample you." She stepped up onto the platform and stood over his head. "You are going to know pain and suffering like you didn't know was possible. I want you to meet my seven colleges" She said the last sentence as she guestured with her arm. Greg recognised all of them immediately! They were all in the court room at one time or another. They were all very beautiful women. "You see Greg, we are going to make an example out of you. We are going to video tape this entire event." With that all of them slipped on masks. Ok girsl, lets get this over with. I don't expect handsome to last more than two hours." Her bare feet were suddenly crushing into his face! Then he was struggling to breath as all of the women found a place to stand on him. Then they started marching in place all of them holding onto a paralell bar. All of they're bare feet were crushing and neading the life right out of him. Gregs mind swirled in pain but he thought he didn't think he was going to last two hours.
The end
