STEPMOTHER

I was 7 years old when my Dad remarried to my stepmother. Brenda was a 5'11" blonde from Atlanta. She was kind, gentle, and soft-spoken with the longest, most muscular legs I'd ever see on a woman. Add that to a rather outstanding set of "jugs" and a prominent buttocks--well, for this little 7-year-old "Superman" my stepmother was the perfect way to prove my strength and "manliness" of which I was very proud and outspoken to all the kids in school.

So, one day I asked Brenda to stand on me. What better way to prove that I could "take it!" Well, she wasn't that quick to take my challenge and said she could not stand on me because she'd injure my body, break my bones or stop my breathing. I remember laughing and telling her that she just was scared of me. I pested long enough until she finally made a proposal.

Brenda told me that if I could lift her one inch off the floor, that she would stand on me, but if not, she didn't want to hear more about it. I said: "That's easy--it's a deal!"

She was wearing a skirt. So as she stood in front of me, legs together, I walked around behind her, and wrapped my strong, little arms around her solid legs. Next, I pulled up with all my strengh, but I couldn't budge her a single bit. I tried it again, this time huffing and puffing, using my feet and ankles, tightening my stomach and heaving with all my might. Brenda was "nailed" to the floor. After several more tries and out of breath, I gave up. She patted me on my head and told me not to be discouraged, that someday I'd grow up to be the strongest man in the world.

My stepmother is in her 50's now; still an attractive and sophisticated woman. A few days ago we were brousing through a bunch of stuff at a yard sale. Brenda was wearing a skirt and a pair of blonde-colored Candies with five-inch heels. As she walked over the lawn looking at the rows of merchadize, I noticed how now and then her high heels would sink into the ground, leaving a nice imprint in the earth. But it was on the sidewalk that Brenda accidentally stepped on an old cassette. The tape box "CRUNCHED! and pieces of plastic shot out from under her step. The cassette box was crushed flat and the cassette cracked in several places. While she apologized to the fellow selling the goods, I remembered my little superman event.

Driving back to the house I mentioned my childhood request to my stepmother. She thought a moment, her face broke into a smile, and then in gentle chuckle she said, "Oh, my dear little strong man--I weighed over 200 pounds then. I'd have crushed you like that cassette I stepped on back there!"
