Sparky's Note:
Although the story is true, I used different names and made no allusion to the name of the
actual film in order to preserve the anonymity of those concerned.

Trample Productions
Back in September, I gaffed a special effects shoot for a film where a girl dies and her
spirit rises out of her body.
On the fourth floor of the communications building at the University of Texas, they have
six totally sound proof film studios with these huge double doors about two feet thick
that almost look like bank vault doors. You can seal the doors and set off a bomb in one
of those studios and you won't even hear it in the hallway.
We did the shoot in studio 4D and one of the assistant directors for the film named Kathy
was directing this particular shoot.
One of the smoke machines broke during the shoot, so I needed to either fix it or find
another one. Kathy told me to check studio 4A to see if I could find one there.
Studio 4A is where they store all of their junk as well as their lights and grip
equipment. Whenever something breaks, that is where I go to find something I can
cannibalize for parts. Kathy went with me to 4A to help me with my scrounge mission. She
spotted another smoke machine and so I started moving junk out of the way in order to get
to it. I was on my knees pulling broken lights and other partially disassembled smoke
machines out of the way while Kathy stood behind me.
There was a sheet of bubble wrap in the way, so I grabbed it and threw it behind me. As I
grabbed the smoke machine I heard these popping noises. I looked back and to my delight,
Kathy was trampling on the bubble wrap carefully placing the sculpted heels of her
maryjanes on the unpopped bubbles and then slowly applied her weight on it until it
popped. I looked up at her face and noticed the expression of pleasure when the next pop
came.
I mentioned something about her wearing the right shoes for the job while stroking one of
her shoes. She jovially told me something like, "Be careful! Those fingers may become
involved; (chuckles)."
I laid my hand down, palm up and she started pressing down on them with her toe. She
started chuckling again when she put all of her weight on my fingers.
"Is that the best you can do?" I quipped.
She came back with, "Oh yeah!" as she planted her heel on my fingers, lifted her
other foot off the floor, and started pumping down on my flat fingers supplementing her
own weight with a couple of G's. She was chanting the "Lizzie Borden" rhyme
which little girls do when they jump rope as she squished my fingers.
I looked up at her and said, "Mmmm. Nice!"
She had this mischievous smile on her face after I said that and then she said as she
chuckled, "Let's grab the machine and get back to the shoot."
I said, "OK." as I reached for the machine, but she was still standing on my
hand and I couldn't quite reach it.
She started giggling as she gave me one last big thrust of her heel on my fingers before
stepping off. There was a nice heel imprint spanning three of my fingers.
I grabbed the smoke machine and Kathy and I went back to 4D where we finished shooting the
"spirit" scene.
Three weeks after the studio shoot, we did another shoot at the Planet Theater. After the
shoot, I talked to Kathy about our hand crush affair and then opened-up to her about my
crush / trample fetish. Oh, she was pleased!
She told me that She likes to step on things that happens to be lying on the ground as she
walks along. "Acorns are always good. They make a nice crunch." she said. I got
giddy.
Kathy went on to tell me about a time when she was in the third grade where there was this
boy in her class who always kept hassling and teasing her. One day, he shot her white
blouse with a water pistol loaded with red disappearing ink. Oh, she was really pissed!
When the boy turned and walked away, she ran up and pushed him from the back.
Just as soon as he fell forward, she hopped up on his back and started stamping on him
shouting, "You will never do that to me again! Do you hear me?!" When he didn't
respond, she repeated in a louder and in a more didactic tone, "Do you hear
me?!!" as she jumped up and tromped down on his back with both feet - hard.
He let out a moan along with his involuntary exhale and said under duress,
"OK......OK, just get off of me!"
She stepped up on his back between his shoulder blades. As soon as he turned his head to
the side, she planted her heel on the side of his head right above his ear and temple and
very slowly stepped on it as she stepped over and off of his body while he screamed bloody
murder.
"He never bothered me again!" Kathy told me triumphantly.
Kathy told me that the idea of stepping on someone more or less occupied the outer fringe
of her subconscious until she saw my fingers in the vicinity of her shoes in studio 4A.
She also told me that she actually got pleasure out of stepping on that boy. She went on
to tell me that when she was stepping on my fingers, she really got sexually turned-on!
The shoot at the Planet Theater was the last of the production effort for that film and I
haven't seen Kathy since then until I got a call from her just this morning (Feb 23). She
told me that she is producing and directing a new film and wants to start production in
late April. She invited me to be her unit production manager and wanted me to start
putting together the film crew.
I accepted the post. I already know who I want to get to crew for this production.

Sparky's note. (again)
As the UPM, I hired Troy as the Gaffer and Daniel as the Key Grip.
I delegated to them the responsibility to gather the people to crew for them.
This will be my fifth film where I worked with Dan and Troy.
We, in the Austin film community are pretty tight.
They bring me in when they get a lead. Now, I have the chance to return the favour.
Five years ago, Troy hired me to run the generator. Now, I hired him to gaff this flick!
What goes around comes around.
I remember my mates.
In between "real jobs", we have a blast when we do a film.
I wish it is more frequent.
It's getting there!
Always;
