Just Another Day Up in the Canyon? Part I (Story)
26-Dec-98 07:09:52
This morning I awakened thinking about her and last night. Could it have been a dream?
The faint smell of her perfume lingered on the pillow beside my head. No, it can't be--it
did happen. I held the pillow close to me.
I whispered to myself, this Hollywood party scene is getting to me. All-night parties,
beautiful, sexy women with incredible bodies, heart-stopping legs. I began to realize that
I am not in my bed. I had no idea where I was. . . Where am I?
I barely opened my eyes, to find the blinding sun coming through the bedroom window. I
rolled over to the side of the bed and looking down, focused my eyes on a very sexy pair
of black patent leather, open-toe high heel sandals laying amongst the scattered clothes
on the carpeted floor.
Dazed and confused, I couldn't imagine what they were doing there or better yet, what I
was doing there. Then, suddenly, I was startled by a pair of petite, beautifully pedicured
feet appearing in the doorway. I slowly followed the awesome lines of her tanned and toned
legs until our eyes met.
She entered the room with two cups of freshly brewed coffee in her hands. She smiled,
"Well, it's good to see that you finally joined the world--you were having the time
of your life last night--or should I say. . . we were."
"What time is it?" "Where am I?" Still facing towards the floor, I
began to smile as I caught a quick flor-level glimpse of her sexy, narrow bare heel as she
walked to her side of the bed. I stared for a moment at the faint impression her foot had
made as she walked by.
She placed the coffee on the night stand, and sat on the bed--propping her feet up on my
thigh. She lit up a cigarette and began wriggling her toes on my leg, "Hey, handsome.
. . do you remember any of last night?" She then pressed her soft, sleek red-painted
toes on my crotch and said, "remember these?"
It started coming back to me. I attended an exclusive welcome home party in Benedict
Canyon. A very close friend and business associate, David, had just returned from a 3
month business trip in China. I met her at the party. "Janet," I said, "how
did I end up here at your home?"
She took a puff from her cigarette and a sip of coffee, "here have some coffee,"
she said, with a smile on her lovely face. As I took a good long sip of coffee, I studied
her face and thought about the last evening's events.
I had gone out on David's patio and walked around the pool to take in the unusually clear
and clean night air. It had rained for two days prior to the night of the party. I lit my
Cuban seed cigar, and looked out over Los Angeles. If it were daylight, I would be able to
see the Pacific Ocean some 25 miles from his back yard. I gazed at the city lights from
Beverly Hills all the way to the Malibu coastline. It was a beautiful night, indeed.
That is when she "walked" into my life. I had noticed her while she mingled with
David's guests. We exchanged a few glances and smiles, too. I also noticed her fantasitc
legs--she had to be a dancer. She approached me from behind, "Hello--you must be
Greg," the soft and gentle voice said. I turned and our eyes met. I couldn't help but
to look down to her perfect feet, as I lit her cigarette. She smiled, "David has told
me all about you."
I extended my hand and greeted her, "well, you have me at a slight disadvantage, you
seem to know me, but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you." She smiled,
"I'm Janet, David and I are neighbors."
I thought to myself. . . Oh, she must be the woman that Dave's been telling me about.
"Ah," I replied, "I recall now, Dave, had wanted me to meet you, but you
were in Europe when he had the going away party 3 months ago--you produce television
commercials."
She looked at her cigarette and said how she needed to stop smoking, "Oh damn, I
forgot to bring an ashtray and I hate to put it on the ground." I interrupted her,
"Never mind, that's quite all right, you put it out, and I'll pick it." She had
no idea how much I'd love to be her cigarette at that moment.
She dropped the cigarette to the decking and twisted her foot with such grace, that I
couldn't help but to be fixed on her every motion. Her toes were so perfectly shapped and
groomed, I couldn't take my eyes off of them. It was too obvious. I reached down and
picked up the remains of her cigarette butt as she moved her foot. She broke the silence
of the night air, "I must say, you are such a gentleman to do that for me--thank
you." My eyes were still fixed on her feet as I stood upright.
My heart was racing. I looked at the smashed cigarette butt in my hand, and couldn't
resist telling her the truth. "Janet, I have to admit this to you--I hope you can
appreciate or at least, understand the truth." Our eyes met, "You're a very
beautiful woman, and I can't think of many men that would turn down the opportunity to
share an evening with you." Holding the twisted cigarette paper I explained my
attraction to her.
The moment I saw you, I felt drawn to you. I have been an admirer of beautiful women since
very early childhood, and something else, too--see this?" I showed her the cigarette
butt. "I know you may find this hard to believe, but if you could feel my heartbeat
right now, you'd completely understand the effect you had on me while smashing out this
cigarette butt."
She smiled at me, "You aren't kidding me, are you?" She took the butt from my
hand. "Well, I have something to tell you, too--since my schoolgirl days, I have
always loved to step on things so I may feel the crunch of whatever I stepped on--but no
one seemed to ever notice, especially guys."
"All my adult life, I have been looking for a man that can truly appreciate this
unusual love I have for crushing things with my feet, and that is why I didn't bring the
ashtray with me." She touched my hand, "Greg, I believe that I have found my
man--I saw you looking at my feet."
I was stunned and excited beyond my wildest expectations. "You don't look like you
believe me," she said, with a gleam in her eyes. "See that snail?" At that
precise moment she walked over to the snail that she'd pointed out to me and placed her
foot over its shell. Looking at me, she said, "Watch this!" After she stomped
her beautiful foot down onto the snail, the loud crunch seemed to linger and echoe into
the canyon--I looked back towards Dave's house to see if we were drawing any attention.
She asked, "Did you like that as much as I?" I was breathless. Struggling for
the right words to say, I couldn't seem to quite come up with exactly how to answer her
question. . . So, I walked over to her and took her hand and placed it on my hard on. We
exchanged smiles, "Does this answer your question?"
She took my hand, "Come, come with me, it's rained for a couple days and I think you
and I should take a walk towards my home--there are millions of snails out here. They will
not miss us at the party, and if they do, we'll have a party to celebrate tonight, and
invite everyone to our "crush" party!
After saying the obligatoy good-bye and thank you chatter, Janet and I went for our
stroll. No sooner than we walked to the end of Dave's driveway, Janet said, "Look,
over by the street light, there has to be at least 25 huge snails by the storm
drain."
California is snail crush heaven after a good rain!
. . . to be continued.
