Bookstore Finger Crush

Yesterday's outing was a major success. I went to my favorite book store and the situation couldn't have been better. A new author was in signing and reading from her first novel and there were tons of people there to celebrate this premier. The men were in suits and the ladies were dressed beautifully. Of course the ladies all had heels on. Fortunately for me, the area of the bookstore didn't have much room to accommodate the 100 plus people so the chairs were soon filled and the remaining people lined up against bookshelves and watched the reading from there. This was perfect for me because I was able to sit down directly behind the standing folks, which included an attractive blond (early 30's), maybe 5'4, 115lbs. She had a very nice pant suit on with three inch high heeled boots. I made the move and casually leaned my hand out near her narrow heel. I had the ultimate in coverage. The aisle was full of people standing so know one could see me, also nobody else could get into the aisle to browse. Anyway, after a couple of moments I struck gold. She stepped back very slowly and I slid my pinky between the heel of her left foot and the floor. She came down directly on my finger and the pain was intense. She had no idea that she was crushing my finger, as she shifted more weight to her left foot. After 30 seconds the intensity of the pain was nearly too much to bear. I was about to say, "excuse me" and have her move, but the most remarkable thing happened that made me momentarily forget about the pain. She lifted her right foot (which of course meant now her full weight was on her left and my finger), and almost as though she were exercising began to extend her right foot back slowly. I was right in her path, and my face and head were level with her high heeled boot. She struck my face very lightly. Her heel landed just below my left eye and the sole of her boot pushed gently against my jaw. Of course I nearly panicked. I thought, "oh shit, I'm busted now", but to my surprise she had didn't turn around to see what she kicked. She must have thought that I was the bookcase behind her. Needless to say, I thought I was going to explode right there in the self help book section. She repeated this kicking motion twice more and then returned her foot to the floor. Then it occurred to me that my pinky was still pinned to the floor with the heel of her left boot. Finally after several more minutes of being crushed, she adjusted her stance and stepped off of my finger. I examined the damage. The tip of my finger was completely flat, and the deepest shade of purple. There was a curved line where the edge of her heel carved into the skin. It was beautiful.
