Supermarket ant crush

I remember very clearly a few summmer's ago when I planted a large ant on the floor of the Veggie's section of the local supermarket. A tall dark-haired and very pretty woman was a few feet away putting veggies in a plastic bag. I swallowed my pride and pretended to be afraid of the ant, and asked her if she would step on him. She kind of glared at me, but proceeded to stretch out her sandal and slowly place it onto the ant until the whole sandal was flat on the ground. I remember very clearly that she had big feet---wide with good-sized toes. Then she slowly smeared the ant back in her direction. But no part of the ant smeared on the ground---apparently all of it was stuck to her sandal. She then kept shopping as if nothing had happened. I followed her from a distance to see if the ant would fall off; it didn't. I later got closer to her in one of the aisles to see if I could locate the ant squished to the sole of her sandal. I watched her right shoe every time she walked, but it was too hard to make him out. She walked too fast.
That ant had been outside the supermarket minding his own business---now because of me he was stuck to the sole of a pretty woman's shoe as she shopped through the store :)
