the blond girl lowered her head and let Luis put the collar in her neck.
The leather was cold and so was the snapping sound the leash made
when he attached it. "Sneakers to bitch, Carlos will bring them inside."
She handed her sneakers and socks to the younger brother then got
down on all fours and was lead up the stairs like a dog. The hard
wood hurt her knees as she went up. Twice she did not get her leg
up high enough and banged her knee on the stairs. She was hurting
by the time they made it to the door.
