27th January. Redirected "Stories" main menu link from ASSTR directory to HTML-format "Stories" section. Added "Chronicles of Suran: Rachel," chapters 1 and 2, to "Stories" section in HTML format. Added "First Anniversary" to "Stories" in HTML format. Added "News" section and main menu link. Changed text font on all pages from Papyrus to Times New Roman, leaving all headings and offsite links on "Links" page in Papyrus. Matched heading and text sizes on all subsection main pages. Lowered all copyright notices to two lines below the last line of text on each page. Added links to "Stories" page and "Chronicles of Suran" main page for downloading stories in TXT format. Added list of characters and descriptions to the "Chronicles of Suran" guide.
28th January. Fixed typo in Rachel's height in "Chronicles of Suran" guide. Added separate site update notification to front page. There is now one update notice for the front page itself, and another update notice for the site as a whole. Added redistribution policy to "Stories" main page. Fixed update notices on "Chronicles of Suran" main page and "Chronicles of Suran: Rachel," chapters 1 and 2. Raised chapter links on "Chronicles of Suran" main page. Asked myself why I don't just do the updates once a week. Decided it was because I'm a finicky perfectionist who hates having an imperfect site up. Asked therapist of two years what she thinks. Therapist replied that she was an hallucination and I needed to find a real shrink.
30th January. Underlined date headings in "Chronicles of Suran: Rachel," chapters 1 and 2. Fixed indent that shouldn't have been used on second date heading in "Chronicles of Suran: Rachel," chapter 2. Got rid of superfluous hyperlinks in "News" page. Added PDF download links to "Stories" main page and "Chronicles of Suran" main page. Found out that you don't need Adobe Acrobat to make PDFs if you're using Mac OS X. The "Print" command in AppleWorks lets you save a file in PDF format. Woohoo!
